I could not be more pleased with this sweatshirt. I’m 6’ 5” tall (six foot five inches) and weight about 207. I ordered a Large Tall. I knew that the large would fit my shoulders but am always a bit skeptical about the word “tall”. My arms are long. I wear a 36-37 inch length in my dress shirts. I can’t begin to tell how pleased I was when this sweatshirt arrived. The arms are perfect. I like a loose fit in a sweatshirt and this puppy did the trick. The arms not tight and I don’t feel the need to tuck at them to keep them down to my wrist. They are perfect with plenty of give. And the body of the sweatshirt is also perfect. It plenty long for the tall torso. You will not be disappointed. If you’re a tall person (and I mean tall like me); then you will not be disappointed. While this may be going out on a limb, I would say the length of the sweatshirt arms would fit a tall person up to about 6’ 6” or even 6” 7” I’m a happy camper.

I've tried four or five different types of hoodies, and this is the last one I will ever buy. Not only does it fit perfect for me (6'4"), but the quality is unmatched. The champion hoodie has a plastic zipper that breaks easily, whereas this Carhartt hoodie has an incredibly sturdy metal one. The Eddie Bauer hoodie is soft material with a metal zipper, but immediately starts pulling away from the seams and eventually gets holes at the seam points. This hoodie is built like a tank, and I cannot fathom it ever separating at a seam. Lastly, the material weight is perfect. Even though I'm incredibly hot-blooded, I'm able to wear this inside without sweating. Highly recommended!

As other reviewers have mentioned, this sweatshirt does run large! My fiance normally wears a large in tshirts/hoodies, so I ordered it for him in that size. When it arrived, I was surprised at how big it was. I ended up exchanging it for a medium. I love Carhartt clothing. The material is great quality and very durable, especially for those who work in the construction field like he does.

My dad looks like a million bucks.

I'm 5'9 160 short torso but athletic build the medium fits great plenty of room. I would go as far to say if your 5'9 to 5'11 medium will fit perfect they run tall and there's plunty of room to layer or pack on some winter weight. I got the dark brown and love it great color plenty thick

This is a very soft and fleecy medium weight hoodie, with solid brass hardware and high quality stitching and other finishing details. It runs a bit large, but after a hot wash and dry my XL fits me pretty much like an XL. One thing to note about size is the length: this hoodie is long, and will easily cover your butt when pulled down (which I like). The ribbed knit bottom is clingy without being tight, so it can be worn at the belt line with the extra fabric hanging down a bit. But if you have an average torso length, and you're looking for a trim-fitting waist-length hoodie, you may find this one too roomy.

A few notes. This sweatshirt is well made. I love how it fits and looks. Classic style in a hoodie. Holy cow it runs large. I wear 2x in most things, and 3x in athletic brands like Nike. I had to order an XL in this hoodie for it to not look like a parachute, and it's not even snug. Just be mindful that Carhartt runs hella big on some things.

This hoodie is a little on the bigger side. For me at least. I’m a woman. And I like my sweatshirts to be on the larger side. But it’s not so big as to feel bulky. This is thick and warm. The zipper I am super impressed with because it’s a heavy duty metal. (Steel?) point is, it’s not some cheap flimsy zipper. It’s very heavy duty. You’ll never have to replace it. It doesn’t zip up as ‘smooth’ as most cheaper zippers, but I think that’s because if the type of metal being used. Carhartt clothes are great quality. Heavy duty stuff that will last more than your average clothing. And Prime Wardrobe is awesome if you can’t find what you are looking for at the store, or if you just don’t want to go shopping. You have seven days to try the stuff on. If you don’t like it, send it back in the box it came in with the pre-paid label. Super easy. I will use this feature again instead of clothes shopping at a store. Prime is worth signing up for just for this service alone. (If you tend to do a lot of clothes shopping)

I just recieved my new jacket today and I have to say, I have never had a Carhartt product I didn't like. I see no reason to change that frame of mind either, with this new edition to my wardrobe. Im 6"2, I have a long waist and I'm built like a tank at 320 pounds. That in mind, this coat is exactly what I was looking for. I wear 2x/3x and depending on the manufacturer (and the washing machine rng) it could be a snug or relaxed fit. Normally I prefer relaxed because I wear a full sized shoulder holster and a snug jacket means I'm printing quite heavily, which is a no beuno in the CCP world. I probably could have even gone with a 2xTall and have been just fine with my requirements, but I haven't thrown it in the washing machine yet, because I'm still wearing it (its so comfy on the inside!). The only thing I have to say about it, and I'm not sure if its a negative, is that it has the beefiest zipper I've seen on a coat in a while. I would expect this on my winter hunting coats for sure, but it seems to be a tad overkill for as light as this jacket is, which I'm fine with. Zippers seem to be the first thing to fail on a jacket or coat so overkill is good. 5/5 Edit Update: Washing machine shrinks it a little bit, but it was nothing I didn't expect. Zipper is still alive, no holes, it still comfy, and its still 5/5.

This is a great hoodie. Primarily, I wear this around the house in temps at 60 deg F with a t-shirt under it. I also wear this as an extra layer for outdoors in cold Chicago winters. The lining is very soft. I like that the hood has a double seam to either side of center, rather than one seam down the center - very comfortable. Also, the hood is large enough to fit over head phones, or a warm hat. I've also had hoodies from Duluth Trading Co (DTC). What I liked about the DTC hoodie that I miss on this one was a small phone pocket within the front pocket, and an extra strap of material on the back to hang the hoodie from. But, other elements of THIS hoodie are more comfortable, and this hoodie was about half the price of the DTC hoodie.
