Excellent Value and

Excellent battery! Love the AGM technology and now am replacing batteries in the cars, truck, RV and snowmobile! Have used this Optima battery in the cabover camper for 4 months and it outlasts the old deep cell battery by many hours. Holds a charge in storage much better than traditional batteries.

Expensive but well worth it

This is the mac-daddy of this line and I use them to power a tow hauler with three solar panels. I live in AZ and you need to change batteries as often as socks because of the heat. This model has been very heat resistant while providing a reliable energy storage solution. I think I'm saving money because these have outlasted any liquid deep cycle 12V I have ever owned.

A Very Good Battery, Extreme High Quality, At A Cost!

I purchased three of these very expensive batteries for use as my Chassis Battery Bank in my 40 foot Alfa SeeYa RV. They fit, provide the power and appear to be very well made. If they prove to be as good as they are touted, I will be looking into more of these for my two other onboard battery systems, House and Inverter banks. We will see how the first three perform. I will continue to report back over time and let you know how it goes. Optima also has a great customer service and was very helpful in my planning process and purchase. In addition, I also purchased the Optima D1200 Battery Charger and Performance Maintainer for keeping the batteries properly charged and maintained while in storage, a key to extending the life of any battery system.

Great price for a high quality battery.

Since my original post both batteries have failed and Amazon has honored the warranty and given a full refund. I run these batteries with a 24v trolling motor on 24' center console by boat. I can run 3-4 days without a charge in calm conditions and a 8-10 hours in windy conditions (20-30 mph). I noticed about 40% difference in run time compared to regular type 31 batteries.

The batteries that won't die when you need them

I originally purchased these batteries 5 years ago for my old 5th wheel. I stored the rv at a campground in Arizona for 6 months and forgot and left the ceiling fan on. Of course the batteries eventually ran out of juice and were in a constant discharge for the whole time. When I returned, I put the rv on shore power and charged the batteries. I kept them in use for 2 more years for dry camping and solar charging, then transferred them to my new truck camper, where to this day, they are storing power from my solar panels and are still working as they should. They have been in service for a total of 5+ years so far. I have never been able to get regular plate batteries to last more than 3 years, definitely worth the difference in price if you need reliable power storage.

These are the biggest and longest lasting batteries from optima I can find. My last optima battery only last 3 years in my boat. I'm hoping these last longer and keep my stereo going longer as well...

4 years latter and still working like a champ

This is in my f250 ford with the 7.5l engine. This battery has never let me down and has plenty of power for my pop-up camper along with my 1500 watt stereo system. Living in the heat of Las Vegas any battery I have had won't last more then 2-3 years and this battery shows no sign of slowing down after over 4 years. Since buying this one, I have added optima redtop's to my wife's expedition and my GMC truck and haven't had any issues with those either.

75 amp hour battery + Camp Trailer = Win. This replaced a dual battery system that failed in our camper. If you every do run a dual system, please make sure your trailer is set up to charge dual batteries.

The best boat battery ever.

These batteries have a low self-discharge rate, which means after a long period of inactivity they will still hold a charge. Also, they're completely sealed (you could mount them upside down if you wanted) and maintenance free. Expensive, heavy (60 lb.) but well, well worth it, in my opinion.
