Nonpoisonous diary!
Let me channel my inner Dr. Oz. This little miracle pill allows people with mild to moderate lactose intolerance enjoy dairy again. All you have to do is drink 1-2 pills (depending on how much dairy and how severely intolerant you are) right before eating dairy and it should work for about 45 minutes. In that time, you can laugh in the face of lactose as you gleefully devour it. I'm not sure if it would work for more extremely lactose intolerant people because I don't know anyone who is that bad. But for myself, it's great to have dairy back on the menu!

Been using this product for years
Bought a year supply (got a doctor's prescription for the 1 yr supply and then sent it along with my Amazon receipt to my HSA to get the item reimbursed) Good value and having a way to buy in a low-cost, high-quantity helps to always be prepared for meals anywhere (car, home, office). It is good to have the individually wrapped, easy-tear foil packets on hand since dairy and dairy derivatives are in many American food products.

For when I take my lactose intolerance seriously
Great product! When I decide to not be lazy or don’t want to suffer lactose cramps and the runs, I take 1-2 Lactaids just before my first bite or sip of dairy products. (Ok, I’ve also taken lactaid pills a couple minutes after ingesting dairy and that works too!) Gets rid of my cramps, the runs, and the gas! My boyfriend appreciates this product for me as well haha!

They WORK!
It's not often you can say something quite literally changes your life, but these really have for me. There's not much to review really, the pills work, they work well, and they work every time. I've had lactose intolerance for most of my life, not debilitating, but enough to stop me from enjoying foods with lactose, or have the food but feel terrible after. I now take half a pill to a pill before eating anything with lactose and feel great afterwards. It's a big relief knowing I have a few of these in my wallet "just in case". If you suffer from lactose intolerance, keeping a few of these on you will let you live your life without constantly worrying and allow you to enjoy the foods you love.

I have been using these enzymes for years with great results. It does not mean I can have all the dairy cream I want, but I can have ice cream and other desserts with no bloating issues. If I know I am going to be eating too much of dairy then I will two at the same time and it works.

This product has quite literally changed my life
My life used to be sad, quite honestly. No drinking milk, no eating cheese. If I decided to even attempt to invest either one, I would have awful stomach pains and be on the toilet forever. Using these pills, I am now okay. I ate an entire cheesy meal at Olive Garden, and just this one pill made me not have stomach aches or made me have to rush to the toilet. You can consider me a life long customer now!

I can eat pizza again
I developed a lactose intolerance over the last several years. I wasn't 100% certain that was the problem causing me upset stomach after eating pizza and other foods I used to enjoy, but was sure enough to try Lactaid to supplement lactose. It works beautifully. Depending on how much dairy I eat/drink, I may need to take two to do the job, but can take the second one when I decide to eat that third slice and I'll be fine. It's great to be able to enjoy whatever is served when I'm a guest again, and it's easy to carry these individually wrapped tablets with me. I've recommended to a friend with similar issues.

Discreet and effective!
I simply can't eat dairy without Lactaid. I'm lactose intolerant but not allergic, so my Lactaid-free symptoms are annoying and painful but definitely not severe. That being said, taking the Lactaid caplets, or even the chewables (which are effective and tasty too) Lactaid Fast Act Chewable Tablets, Vanilla Twist, 60 Count makes eating dairy painless and embarrassment-free for me. The paper-like individual packaging is easy to open and I like that I can break off one or two individual packets and stick them in my wallet in case I might encounter some dairy. The caplets are small and pretty discreet. Highly recommended!

I trust the Lactaid brand more than store brands
I have had a horrid lactose intolerance since I was a kid and it's a royal pain. Milk, ice cream and some cheeses (not all) trigger the worst series of events imaginable--well, not the worst perhaps, but not pleasant! If you've ever seen Meg Ryan's great movie "French Kiss" there is a GREAT lactose-intollerance scene that will make you laugh. I've bought store-brand lactase enzyme and sometimes it works, sometimes not. But if I can get the brand-name stuff her on Amazon for a few pennies more, I'm in. The Lactaid brand really works--100% of the time. By the way, a doctor told me recently that as you age your intolerance gets worse, so you may need to use more--a good thing to know. I love that this is an Amazon Prime product and that it gets delivered to my door without shipping costs.

Never date a vegan.
I grew up drinking milk, lots of it. My brother and I could finish a gallon in a day. I enjoyed a life of dairy and regular bowel movements. Then I dated a vegan for six months. I switched to almond milk, learned to make some really good vegan food, and found some great dairy substitutes. After that relationship came to an end I tried to rekindle my relationship with milk and cheese and ice cream. I am after all, a pastry chef, so butter, milk, and cheese are essential to my livelihood. My reintroduction to diary did not go very smoothly. My bowel movements became... less regular. I had not correlated these symptoms with lactose intolerance until my bother, whom had also dated a vegan, described a situation similar to my own. Lactaid has helped me regain my pre-vegan lifestyle and has made my work bearable again. Sometimes I forget an individual packet in my work pants, but they have survived the washing machine/dryer every time. Just know that if you date a vegan and it doesn't work out, these work and you'll need them for the rest of your dairy loving life.
