Perfect for My Needs!

I have rheumatoid arthritis in both knees, hands, wrists and shoulders. At 5'2", the distance seemed miles away when it was so incredibly painful to sit down and get up. This product has more than fulfilled my needs. I am a renter and cannot make any alterations to anything in my unit. The Riser fit perfectly with no assembly. All I had to do was adhere the sticky pads on the product and put it into place. It is secure, easy to remove to clean and a godsend. Other reviewers here were wonderful answering my question. Thank you! I HIGHLY recommend it.

Very Nice Riser.

Works great on my std round commode. Needed a higher seat for my wife who just had bypass surgery, and has trouble standing up if the seat is too low. This works great. She can stand up much easier with this riser on the commode base.(Does not sit on seat...The seat stands upright behind this base) it projects into the bowl so that it is impossible to slip off without picking it up. It will slide very slightly but cushioning pads included help control that movement. This can be lifted right up and off for use with the regular sea for anyone not needing the riser. Recommended!

No messes and easy to use!

I love this seat riser. As a caregiver, this model is the easiest to use, keep clean and fits securely on the toilet seat. The ones with locks or other "handy" features end up with urine getting into the unit itself through screw holes and such and they also let the urine run down the outside of toilet. This product is the only one that is one solid piece of plastic that prevents urine from getting inside of it and it also has a little lip on the bottom that prevents liquid from running outside of the toilet. I am buying this one for a neighbor because of the convenience this will provide them. I am sure they will love it too.

Very user friendly!!

After a severe injury to my foot this was another item that was needed to make life more comfortable while healing. We had purchased the toilet handles on Amazon but I was still having difficulty getting up from the toilet because it was too low. We purchased this seat raiser and am very happy with it. It may be a little higher than needed but it was all I could find available that just sat down onto the toilet rim without additional hardware or something like it. It does just sit down onto the toilet rim and stays in place perfectly. We have an elongated toilet and it fits fine. Easy on and off for those in the household who don't need it. Other customers said theirs had an indented area on the bottom for a hand hold to help pick it up. Mine did not. It still is not hard to remove and replace. This injury has made the need for multiple purchases for handicapped items and this was a good and needed purchase and Amazon quick as usual delivery was an added plus.

Great, inexpensive extension of toilet seat!

Ordered this seat as was having surgery and had existing problem with bad back & knee! It has worked out great, easily removed while guests are here since I put in the guest bath and easily cleaned. The height is perfect to use on a standard height toilet.

It works! Perfect if you have to travel.

I had to travel for family reasons after having hip replacement surgery. I still was forbidden to bend more than 90 degrees at the waist. Have you ever tried to sit on a toilet seat without bending more than 90 degrees?? It can't be done because the seats are too low. I had a bench thing with handles for my home commode, but carrying it while I traveled was out of the question. So, I bought this and carried it into restrooms in a black plastic bag and it worked perfectly. It gripped all different kinds of toilet seats without a problem. I even used it in the so-called handicapped accessible room at the highly regarded chain motel we stayed in whose name won't be mentioned here. I wish I had just bought this in the first place for my house. If you need a riser, and don't need handles, this is for you.

Fits great, no installation, easy to clean

I bought this for my aunt that recently had surgery and needed something higher. She lives in a mobile home and her toilet is smaller than mine at home (I live in an apartment so I guess thats a standard size). I was worried if it would fit hers, but it absolutely did. One of the features, is that it requires zero installation. After I took off her existing seat, this literally just sat in/on it. There is a lip so to speak, on the underside that prevents it from sliding off. Its made of a hard plastic that is both comfortable and easy to clean. Unlike other seats I looked at, this one does not need to be “uninstalled” to clean. She loves it in the sense that it has made it so much easier to use the bathroom since her surgery. The only downside I can see is that there is no toilet lid. I will however get my elderly parents a fee for their bathrooms. I highly recommend this.

Much better than more expensive seats that fit less securely in place.

I was very pleased to find that the seat was easy to place, felt secure in use, was easy to clean. The hole is big enough for me to use comfortably, although not as big as might be ideal, and the rubber feet seemed quite nonslip on the porcelain. There is a flat side that fits against a raised regular toilet seat, making it more secure. Very light to carry, possibly could be the same size outside with a larger hole, but that may be needed for strength and so the bottom rim fits within most toilet bowl edges securely. I carry some flushable wipes to clean it before putting it back in my tote bag.
