My father was an electrician for almost 40 years. I have done my fair share of electrical with him and in all my remodeling adventures. This is way better than the Dewalt "poly fabric" electrical pouches or "leathercrafts" (not leather) fabric products. Some reviews have stated the leather is not tanned or soft - well it is tanned. It is stiff as I expected it to be. If it were soft the inside pouches wouldn't hold shape or the whole pouch would sag. Now a bit of comparison - this is a great pouch for remodeling house projects, upgrades and maintenance type things. I ordered it to redo existing house panel, install new garage 100 amp sub-panel, and a lot of remodel things like new lights, ceiling fans, a tone of outlets and switches, etc. Homeowner stuff. This is not the pouch I would recommend for a seasoned pro industrial journeyman electrician on the job. It is great for the basic homeowner residential stuff. This would work great for that purpose for anyone. The stiffness will "break-in" as mine has started to do in my projects, and is comfortable to walk around the house in and stand there working on a panel with tools at the ready. If you are climbing in and out of attics, crawlspaces, installing 60K GE industrial transformers, 600 amp service weather heads - you might want to pay the extra money and get the bigger Industrial Journeyman Electricians style pouch. This carries all the stuff I need for the DIY home projects - and I have never hired an electrician. Best Bang for the Buck I have found.

This pouch is very stiff. I am not a big guy, 29" waist, so I had to put about 3" of water in a 5 gallon bucket and soak the belt loop part for about an hour. Once it got somewhat pliable I tie wrapped it around a 4" diameter post and let it dry like that for a couple of hours then I wore it for the rest of the day. If you don't do this it digs into your hip instead of wrapping around it. I'm satisfied with this purchase.

This pouch is excellent. I am a big user of pouches/tool belts while I am on the job as an electrician which led me on a quest to find one that really enhances my performance. I've tried lots of other pouches that ended up being either too big or too small. This pouch fits everything I need without adding lots of weight and bulk. My usual set up of tools which fit perfectly in this pouch consists of: 2 screwdrivers (phillips and flat head, both 6" long) Channel locks Pliers Dykes Needle-nose pliers Tin snips 6" torpedo level Small flashlight Non-contact voltage tester 30' tape measure Sharpie markers/pencils 2 rolls of electrical tape Utility knife Sometimes I carry more or less tools depending on the task but this pouch handles it all. It's a little stiff at first but I treated it like a new baseball glove and baked it in an oven after rubbing some baby oil on it. After a week of heavy use it has really softened up. If you're looking for a pouch, I highly suggest for you to try this one out. And if it doesn't fit your needs you can easily return it. I hope this helps!

The leather is nice and sturdy and has plenty of pockets for handtools you usually carry and need. I switched to leather because all the fabric pouches would sag after a few weeks of daily work use and abuse, but this pouch is awesome and keeps its shape. Some complain about it being too stiff but in my opinion its perfect, I just hassled too much with polyester and nylon and this one hasn't given me a single issue. High quality pouch

I bought a 3 pouch for 20 dollars from a name brand in the electrical trade.. I used it for 2 weeks and threw it out because it was useless. For 7 dollars more I got twice as much space.. plus room for tape, tape measure and hammer ( the flash light holder makes a great hammer loop). Real leather.. it is kind of tough at first but I'm sure after a few weeks of using it should be nice and soft.. if your a apprentice and carry all the tools then this pouch is for you

This is the same quality as the ones that they sell at the big box stores, only this one is much less expensive than those. It looks like a work of art. This is the best value. Hopefully it will hold up over time.

I ordered a canvas bag which was fine but tools fell out when you set it down. this feels like a pro pouch. Only thing I would change is include a belt. I bought it like this so I am not taking away.

Had it for about a year now. Dont necessarily use it everyday but when i do it is really nice. No sign of wearing sown. ** 2 years now, am seeing some wear n' tear but still going strong**

I am an industrial electrician and bought this product to replace my floppy nylon pouch. The leather is very stiff and is holding up well so far. I would recommend this over the name brands that cost a lot more. I already had the belt from this company.
