Love it, though not what it is intended for. I made a crochet hook storage out of mine. Plan on buying one more for my double pointed needles. Perfect size for them. Now all hooks neatly separated by sizes. Drawers did stick but used an old fixer idea handed down in our family, used soap an the sides and bottom of drawer. Plus smells great from the soap. Now drawers slide well.

Excellent purchase… I was hoping this drawer was going to help me get my miscellaneous art supplies organized. It didn’t disappoint… The quality, is surprisingly good. While the drawers didn’t stick, I did rub soap around the edges top and bottom, which makes them glide nicely. (trick from my grandmother for wood drawers) I have seen plastic drawers cost a lot more and they don’t look this good. As soon as I was done taking pictures for the review, I went online and ordered 2 more. Fyi: when I don’t take them to whichever area I am drawing (sometimes my couch in the evening), I have a great space in my shelf where it tucks in nicely.. I will post a picture of all three drawer units tucked away. Overall, I could not be happier with this purchase.

Bought this for a 132 count prismacolor pencil set. Box was in perfect shape, fit them perfectly. Has this foam on bottom to cushion. I ordered a prime item to get in 2 days, however I didnt get it until the following Wed (ordered on a Thursday), even though I got other items I ordered on Sat. There were 2 left in stock when I ordered.

I bought this to have a better storage system for my Prismacolors. I have my set of 132 pencils stored in here plus a few extra. I took out the black foam padding for a little more space and I could actually fit more pencils ontop of what you see but I do not want my colors buried. The drawers slide in and out very easily. The box seems sturdy and well made for the price, I am not worried about it breaking. I like that the top of this particular box is flat with no trim. It allows me to use it as a surface. It will also be great when I buy a second box because they should stack nicely. Very pleased with this purchase!

I recently started working with colored pencils on copper and wanted a place to store my pencils where I wouldn't have to lift the individual trays out of the tin. After looking at several of the choices on Amazon I decided to try this box. The reviews were mixed and the photos showed some with damage and others that were just fine. I will be ordering 2-3 more to store other supplies I use in my art work and jewelry design/construction. I had 72 pencils, and some accessories, all of which fit in 2 drawers as constructed. I have a supply of stringing wire as well, which was always falling off my work table or sliding out of reach. By removing the dividers (easy to do) and the foam liner, all my spools and my crimp beads fit in the top drawer. This means the standard supplies I need are both close at hand and organized saving me time. I've attached photos of the drawer unit closed and open. It will be easy to stack additional units on top of this one.

i got this for a birthday present. i had been looking for something to store my watercolor tubes, as well as my drawing pencils (and eventually my colored pencils) i prefer wood over plastics or metal- i find that i have a need for a lot of small drawers in the studio that are deep enough front to back to hold pencils but aren't deep from top to bottom so that there is a lot of wasted space or things get lost in there. it keeps supplies in good condition, out of light (in case that may be a factor-some things aren't lightfast) i would consider keeping my good kolinsky brushes in there if i didn't already have good storage for them. now the nitty gritty, it arrived fast in perfect condition, however the label was sort of glued onto the back and wrapped around it. i had a bit of a hard time removing the glued on portion of the label, and while it's on the bottom, it annoyed me a bit. however i plan on gluing some felt onto the bottom so it isn't too major the little drawer pulls are tiny but you can get a good grip on them, at least i can- if you have hands the size of dinner plates maybe they are a bit small for you. now this is, to my eyes a raw wood....if it has a finish it is a very light one and slightly rougher then i expected. i am not sure what the wood is. if it is bamboo that would be great i am thinking of painting it red to match my studio worktable. i am so happy with this little chest of drawers, as i keep my watercolor tubes in the top drawer. i had to remove the foam insert which was very easy to just pull out from under the dividers. at first i was concerned about the dividers in the drawers, and had planned on popping them out but now i realize that they actually work well to keep my supplies from moving around, keeps them dust free, and easily seen after opening the drawer. i am planning on getting a second one to hold my pens, xacto knives, bone folders, etc. as i am unhappy with them getting dusty in the lazy susan tool caddy i currently keep them in (not to mention the dead small gnats and such i find after the summer in the bottom of the tool caddy-ewwwwwww) in looking at this, i also think that it would work very well to hold jewelry, such as earrings, and bracelets- pan pastels, some flat make up compacts, small hand tools, and other things that are tiny, delicate and hard to store. (please don't all rush out and buy this out, as i do want at least one more of the three drawer ones- and i won't be happy if they raise the price of them- after i get my second one you all can rush and buy this, cause it really is that nice)

These storage drawers are perfect organization & storage for my precious colored pencils and pens I use in my art. * These come with a floor of removable thin foam cushioning to protect my artist pencils & pens. These are WELL MADE, and look beautiful. There are removable dividers creating 5 sections per drawer. The drawers slide easily. * The ONLY NEGATIVE...I find that the tiny wooden "pulls" too hard to grasp for my arthritic hands. My solution was to drill two small holes per drawer and install little crystal pulls. Looks sharp and easy to grasp (see photo). A single crystal pull per drawer would work too, however I couldn't remove the existing wooden pulls, so since it was in my way I put a crystal pull on either side of the wooden one. Actually, 2 pulls makes pulling and pushing the drawers easier anyway, since using a single center pull I would sometimes push the drawer back in kinda cockeyed angle and have to adjust my direction. Not a big deal, but it bothered me. * I bought the crystal pulls here at Amazon. If you are interested, type in the search box: Vtech 20mm Crystal Glass Cabinet Knobs. These are very small, and thus they don't extend past the drawer to interfere with the next drawer. I purchased the 10 pack, for $9.42.

Great price for well constructed drawer storage. Came with foam liner in each of the 3 drawers. All drawers come with four dividers which can be easily removed with a little bit of wiggling to loosen the glue if you desire to remove any of them. With them out you can get a few extra colored pencils in each drawer. With the dividers out I fit 48 prismacolor premier colored pencils in each drawer allowing for a bit of "roll room" for easy removal of a pencil. When opening, the drawers do not stick to each other on this model. I purchased two units and both are well constructed, stack nicely, and open smoothly with out having to do any kind of modifications. If I find that two units are not enough for my storage needs I will absolutely purchase this product again.

Bought for pastel storage, and it really seems to fit the bill. Lovely box, considering the price. The wood could use more of a finish for protective and cosmetic reasons, but that's okay, I'd rather save on the price and do my own finishing. The inside wood seems not finished at all. I may just spray coat with Polyurethane. Fit is great for pastels: Rembrandt type pastels fit perfectly, and the larger hand-made squarish pastels fit okay, but just barely as far as the heighth (or diameter) when laid flat in the drawers. There's a nice flat cushiony material you can remove if you don't like. I'll probably buy more over time to accommodate my pastels and if I do improve the finish it will be equivalent to large pastel storage you buy for hundreds of dollars.
