I got these for my husband after getting him the Skechers golf shoes, that he loves. He went to his foot doctor while wearing these shoes, and the doctor told him to take these shoes off. She proceeded to take the shoe apart and examine it thoroughly. The foot doctor said she was extremely impressed with these shoes and would start recommending them to her patients. She used to tell him to wear New Balance but after seeing how well the Skechers were made and the support they offered, she was going to start telling her patients to get the Skechers shoes instead. She said she had heard about Skechers but never examined a pair.

I'm a woman who wears a size 9 in women's shoes and an 8 in men's Skechers. Out of the box, these shoes are comfortable. I'm always searching for comfortable shoes since I have plantar fasciitis and live on a farm. I may eventually have to add memory foam inserts, but for now they're extremely comfortable. The ONLY negative I found was one shoe squeaks a tiny bit. It makes it hard to sneak up on anybody but it doesn't bother me. (It's not loud at all)

I work as a cashier and a warehouse type environment where the flooring is cement and I am constantly on my feet all day. I was wearing regular running shoes, but after awhile my feet began to hurt after a few hours. I wanted a athletic-type shoe that looked good but also was comfortable and sturdy. After wearing these Skechers Energy Afterburn shoes, about 30 minutes I could tell a major difference on how my feet felt on the cement floors. After work my feet did not hurt as much as wearing regular running-type shoes. I also noticed these shoes gave my feet an extra bounce, almost like the same effect you get from Reebok Zigtech shoes. I tried wearing my Reebok Zigtech at work. They are great running shoes, but not good work/walking shoes. With these shoes you get comfort plus the propulsion like the Reebok Zigtech shoe.

I haven't worn tennis shoes in 20 years. Motorcycle or cowboy boots for me. "Let's get in shape," she said. "You need to get in shape," the Dr. said. Fortunately, the better half is a Veterinarian. It's what she wears walking all over the clinic all day long. So, I buy them. One full day for the break-in period. Kinda want to go to the gym now. Kinda like going fishing more, but I'm tired of hearing the, "Have you been exercising" speech.

Have had these shoes for 3 years & even though they are still holding up very well, I’m purchasing these shoes again...for the money, they are a very good shoe in every criteria that matters... I lift weights in these shoes 5-6 days/week (I mean real weightlifting...400 lb. squats and I kick a lot of stuff around in the garage & in the weight room...in other words, I abuse them)... I will still use my 3 year old Sketchers for weightlifting, around the house & in the garage; but I want a new pair for when I go out...we all know women look at a guys shoes & if they look old & beat up, they think you can’t afford to buy a pair of shoes...don’t understand that logic, but whatever, I’ll play along... I used to buy Nike, but Nike are just plain JUNK, anymore...Nike falls apart within a couple months & way overpriced... As long as Sketchers maintains a quality shoe at a very reasonable price, I’ll continue to be a faithful customer... They look good, last a long time & worth every penny... I figure 3 years of abuse & still going strong is a bargain at $40, that’s $13/year if I threw them out, but I might get a couple more years out of them & bring the price point to $8/year...I can live with that...

First off let me say finding hard soul shoe s are next to impossible. Secondly I bought these for my fiance. He complains of pain from his toes to his shins. Last night he wore them, worked 8+ hrs lifting, pushing, pulling truck crew type work. Which leaves him continuously on his feet with extra weight. This morning instead of coming home immediately to rip off his shoes and complain about how bad his feet hurt. He took a 6+ hour tour playing Pokemon go. Walking many extra miles. While his feet were still throbbing from the longer day then usual, which would be normal for anyone standing for 16hrs. He assured me that the pain was no longer radiating from his ankles to his shins, and the shoes did great to support him. At work he felt a lot better. Sketchers is a decent company, I know there is mixed reviews reguarding the quality, but I have used sketchers since I was little, and his response hasn't let me down. This pair has a rubber hard soul, which won't break down, or shouldnt. If your a softfoot use to memory foam or gel. I suggest you look elsewhere or buy yourself inserts.

The first thing I look for (after having some ill-fitting shoes when I was a boy), is comfort. And these shoes are comfortable. I wanted something comfortable too to walk around in when I was going on a sightseeing trip to Japan. And they look good too, so I now wear them often. I need large shoes, 10 1/2 EEE, and found that they have my size, that I happily bought. I live now in the Philippines where large-sized clothes can be particularly hard to find, so I was happy to be able to find these shoes that I could order from amazon.com Thanks--to the reviewers who rightly praised these shoes, and led to my purchase.

Nice shoes and the wide sizes fit really well. When first wearing, the leather(?) tongue rubs against the sides and makes a noticeable squeaking sound, which gets really annoying. After about two weeks of forfeiting your ninja license, it eventually breaks in and you can walk silently. The cushioning is pretty soft, and as a daily shoe, it's very good (I don't think the cushioning would be well suited for running though). It's all leather, which is nice, as most athletic shoes are a mix of that and thin fabric. The wide size is as expected. For the price, this is a great shoe.

I haul trash for money at night. These are the only shoes I have and I wear them all day. This is the third time I have bought these shoes. In short, they work. I can do 14,000 steps a day while hauling weight going up over 100 flights of stairs 5 days a week and they will last for 6 months or more. If I was not overweight, they might even last 9 months or more. If I took care of them better and lost weight they may even last a year. So far, they are certainly worth what I am paying for them from Amazon. I just wish they were a little cheaper.

I have never loved a pair of tennis shoes as much as I love these...I have the hardest times with shoes not hurting me after 30 minutes or so...these literally last all day and night, pain-free!! Even by back feels better...they have amazing thick soles and when you feel the inside bottom of the shoe, you will be amazed if this is your first pair!! I I`m not sure about the size part...I bought these in an 8m and I usually wear a nine in women's so I can`t tell you exactly if they run big or small but mine are perfect. I don`t think I've ever been so excited about shoes...lol
