I have tried every hardwood floor cleaner out there and this is by far the best. Every other product left a streaky film. For reference, I have 6500sqft of Brazilian Walnut.

Refilling allows for less waste

This refill is a great idea for people who have the Bona Hardwood Floor cleaner. And this cleaner, so far, has cleaned all but the very worst dirt from my hardwood floors. And even the very worst dirt came off easily when it I dampened it with this cleaner and then used the cleaning pads on it. Being able to refill the container on the hardwood floor Mop was one of the reasons I bought this and not some other brand.

Which floor cleaning solution is best: Bona or Zep?

We’ve been using the Bona system for 10 years and at last a bright light went off in our feeble little heads! Why keep buying expensive snap in refills when they are just as easy to refill from a gallon size jug? Now before you cast us off as dumb jugheads, please know that with our humility comes experience. Read on to learn which is better: BONA: A bit pricey here at Amazon but glad to know it can be delivered without need to go into a store during the Covid era. The Bona solution is great for hardwood and laminate. We’ve used in on both with stellar results. ZEP: Once available just at that home improvement superstore with the orange logo, Zep can now be found here on Amazon, too. It’s typically priced less than Bona yet is just as good. We’ve gone through gallons of each. CONCLUSION: Shop by price. Both brands are equally effective. HAPPY MOPPING TO YOU AND YOURS!

Great for white and red oak!

I had used Bona in our last home which we built. The floors were white oak. After 15 years the floors were in extremely good condition. There were scratches but zero buildup and still shiny floors. When we moved out the floors were still gorgeous! Thanks to Bona. Our new "20 year old" home has red oak hardwood flooring which is beautiful. Sadly, they have been neglected but no wax buildup anywhere. We are working using Bona to get these floors back to tip top condition and I can already see they are going to be beautiful again before long using Bona. I am a solid believer in this product.

Great product if cap was with it

I love the actual product but the shipping without even a cap is very strange. I opened the box and it didn’t have the cap so I looked in the box and no cap. I cannot leave this product in my closet with no cap, it’s a poison and someone could spill it or my dogs can accidentally lick it up. The product itself is great I use it every other day with the bono dry mop and my floors look great. As for the packager of the Amazon associate, how can you not see the cap is missing in the product? No one wants a poison stored in their house without being properly sealed. I just don’t understand why the cap is missing and not in the box.

Best hardwood floor cleaner.

Bona was recommend by the company who refinished my 1950's red oak hardwood floors. The flooring company and a housekeeper both recommended bona and a mocro fiber mop. The Bona refill is perfect for refilling the hand held spray bottle. I do not have to scrub hard at all and the floors look great when done, no residue left over. The refill saves plastic and is cheaper then buying new spray bottles.

THE BEST!

I have been using this product for 25 years. Before that I used Murphys Oil Soap but when we had new wood floors installed the company that installed them recommended that I use this product instead. I saw a difference immediately. When we move to another house some years later and had new floors installed this company also recommended Bona. It cleans the floors very thoroughly without harming the finish and leaves them feeling clean under your bare feet. I highly recommend it. Use it with the Bona floor mop.

Works great on laminate floors

Works great on laminate floors! Does not leave streaks or filmly residue. Floors look slick and clean after! I use atleast once a week since I have dogs and am constantly impressed by how nice the floors look after.

Excellent for hardwood floor
