A couple weeks before college, my mom suggested I get a photo album to store all my high school memories in. I decided to search on Amazon, since I was already subscribed to Amazon Prime and knew shipping would be quick. While I was browsing down the list, I was on the lookout for one in specific that held numerous pictures because I ordered over a hundred online. Not only did this one have a good number of pockets, it had the color I was looking for; a rustic yellow that would look good with my color scheme. In this review, I’m going to keep it real and talk about the convenience, quality and even the flaws of this album. The first thing I do when buying anything online is filter the price range from lowest to highest because why waste more money on something just as good for cheaper. I soon noticed that most of them ranged from ten to thirty dollars depending on the size and model, which isn’t that bad. Since I was looking for a 200-pocket album, instead of a 100 pocket one, I knew the price was going to be a bit more expensive. When it came to size, I wanted one resembling the ones I owned at home, around 9.5 inches in width and 9.2 in height. This was just about the same size and knew it would fit in well with the others I had. However, they also offer a variety of different colors, sizes, and models of photo albums based on your preference. When the package arrived, I was surprised about how good the quality was. When buying a knockoff or something cheap, you can’t always have high expectations on the item or most likely you’ll be disappointed. The fabric cover was something that really stood out to me and it came with a clear plastic sleeve to keep the fabric looking nice and clean. I like that there is space available to write notes next to each picture; I wrote the dates of when each picture was taken. I honestly think that helps make the album a little more personal. A typically issue that cheap photo albums have are the sturdiness of the pages; this one has thick pages and I didn’t have that issue at all. However, there was a light smell of chemicals when first opening the package, nothing too strong. You should be careful when inserting the pictures because the plastic is very fragile and can easily tear. But once they’re in, they look really nice and well put together. When shopping, keep in mind that this album is more convenient for landscape photos instead of portrait photos. Most of my pictures were landscape so that wasn’t really an issue for me, but it might be for you. Although it has a couple flaws, I would say for the price, this photo album is a bargain you wouldn’t want to miss out on. Because of my subscription of Amazon Prime, I received the photo album four days after I ordered it. The return policy for amazon is considerate and gives you a month to return an item if you are unsatisfied with it. The exterior of the photo album looks very high quality and fits well anywhere around the house. This could also make a great gift for your friends and family. Overall, the photo album was worth the cost, and I will definitely be buying from them again in the future. If you’re looking for a good quality album for a reasonable price, what are you waiting for? Add it to your cart already!

I've been buying this same type of fabric photo album from Pioneer in various colors, capacities, and sizes for the 11 years my husband and I have been married. We use a different color each time to show the order all of the pictures go. The albums have held up so well, and I love the small caption writing space this album has next to the pics. We don't display them with the dust cover it comes with because they've held up well without it, they look better without in my opinion, and any dust is easily wiped off without leaving a mark on the fabric.

This is pretty nice. I was looking for a photo album for old family pictures. Has plenty of pages, each with 4x6 vinyl pockets. The quality of the pages is good, there is no need to glue things down, and they are not like those contact pages that ruin your photos. And it is a decent price! Highly recommend it. I also would mention to people who keep their photos on their smart phones... Print those puppies out (you can use the machine at various places like Walgreen's, CVS, WalMart) and put them in an album. First - what happens to your photos on the phone 45 years from now when the technology has changed? Secondly - it's awful hard to hand those down to a 2nd or 3rd generation. And after you have printed them out, write the names on the back. I promise you that after 40 years, those babies all look alike...

I love it! The candy apple red is beautiful! Its a bright red which is a fun color. The texture is a soft felty feeling. It actually comes with a plastic sleeve over it that you could keep on it if you really wanted to in order to protect it but i took mine off. The pictures slide in from the side so only a 4x6 will fit. The paper is not see through so you will not see the picture on the other side. I will definitely be buying another one once this is filled up with our vacation pictures

We want to put together a photo album for my MIL. She doesn't really go online and would prefer to sit in her chair and peruse pictures, so this worked perfectly. It's well made with good pockets for photos. There are 200 pockets, but it is limited to 4x6 photos. We got the chocolate brown, very pretty, but there is a wide variety of colors. Archival, photo safe: acid, lignin and PVC free , and it has an area to write a short memo, location, date, people's names etc. The front also has a frame for a picture. Overall this is very nice

I'm still a bit "old school" and love printing out my pictures and putting them in photo albums. I only use Pioneer photo albums with a fabric frame and each album holds 200 4x6 photos. The only thing I would change is I wish some of the pages had photo sleeves for pictures to go in vertically, instead of all of them being horizontal, but I still love these albums. The tranquil aqua is a very pretty color and I can't wait to fill it with pictures. I would definitely order another of this album.

I decided to re-organize some older photos from trips of the past. The photo albums that they were already in were big and heavy and hard to handle, not to mention that I didn't know what was in each album until I opened it and leafed through it. So I ordered 13 of these books, each in a different color. The idea was to put one trip in each book and then use the front "window" to list the information for the book's contents...ie: Year, Trip and highlights, so that I can tell without even opening the book what is inside. These albums are truly wonderful, small, light and easy to handle once full. The 4" x 6" photos slide in and stay put, but you need to be mindful and careful or you will tear the glue that holds the plastic pockets in place. With care, this went very smoothy. Only one book had a couple of pages where the glue gave way a bit in places...a dot of Super Glue did the trick to restore them. The pages hold only horizontal images, but if you put your verticals in sideways, the book is easy to just rotate in your hands so you can see them upright, so it's no big deal really. Some reviewers are complaining about a horrible smell. While I did notice a smell, it was only at first and then it faded very quickly. There is a clear plastic dust cover that comes on the books and I left mine on for now. But they are easily removable. These books make a pretty rainbow on my bookshelf. The quality is quite nice and the colors were pretty true to what is shown on the website.

I purchased this photo album because it had such good reviews. Plus, I really have not organized my photos...(shame...) The size is ok. Not too big or small but well...it is ok. The color is nice and it is nice that you can put a photo in the front. I still have not figured out what to put. It is easy to put the photos. I like the fact that the plastic does not stick. I had products where the plastic would stick to the photo later :( There is some plastic smell...Not sure...may be it is just mine. I put in all my pictures and I still have so many pages to fill :D It is really nice to put pictures in photo albums like old times. These days it is mostly digital which is good but old school photo albums are also nice as well- Look forward to taking more photos and printing some and filling the album :D
