Got this due to a spinal fusion surgery. I am young, active (before the surgery) and not overweight. The installation took my family around 30 min. Watch for those screws because my cousin cut her finger on it. It is a little wobbly on the left side. However, if I push the metal leg outside, it becomes more stable. A solution for this would be a bar between the legs that would go under the toilet. (For manufacturer). The arms feel strong when you go down and come up. My cousin used it, and he was okay with it (80 years old, a little overweight and with feet problems). In spite, of the wobbling, I am giving the product 5 stars because it works. I checked, and it is returnable, contrary to all the reviews here. Overall, a good product that I can use during my recovery. Thank you for reading.

bought for my house for someone who is now handicapped to be able to get on and off toilet with ease it works great gives him the independence he needed. very happy they are the same ones that were in his rehab center

My elderly mother on a walker, and prone to falls, loves this thing! It's easy to install, we've had it on for about 2 weeks. She doesn't have room in the bathroom for a more freestanding kind of toilet rail, so this was perfect, nice and close in towards the toilet, b/c of the limited space in her bathroom. We will have to change the rails to the wider setting, b/c it's hard to get your arms in to wipe on the narrower setting. Even with the arm rail button in place, and the ring totally screwed in tight, it DOES have a little bit of give to it (as other reviewers mentioned), but this does not seem to bother her or affect its usefulness. Highly recommend. Pls note: it's NOT returnable, even if completely unopened. This is a seller policy, and I think a big mistake in terms of trying to maintain happy customers. I also noticed 2 different prices at different times. $37 and $27. We got it for $27.

I have a long narrow bathroom with the toilet at the end. Mom needed this to be able to get off the wheelchair during recovery. Mounted right side only, since the left one would block access. Took 5 min. to mount. Undid screws on toilet seat, mounted bracket, put screws back in. Yeah, it's a little wobbly but not so much so that there is a chance of falling. Have had on for 2 weeks now, and it has been a Godsend. Will install both sides when she goes back to her apt. in Assisted Living. Definitely glad we bought.

Just got this for my husband coming home from the hospital after surgery. Very easy to install. Legs lift up for cleaning underneath. I haven't noticed the wobbling other reviewers mentioned, but I'm not laid up. My husband might notice it because he's not allowed to put weight on his right leg. Very sturdy

All the comments I've read I was like u don't know. I have found out all the comments are lies. I bought this for my mother she is 5' 1" tall. I got this anyway despite what was said. I put it on my mother's toilet and adjust it for me I'm 6'2" and if I needed it would be perfect. It is adjusted for my mom and it works perfectly for her hight and she can get up and down with it with out any struggle at all. Most I can rate this is 5 stars. Trust me there isn't a number for how many stars I would rate this.

This product works perfectly. I was hesitant due to several negative reviews, but I think they were written due to people not understanding HOW to install it. First of all this comes with ZERO instructions. The photos here are helpful. Someone said the arms moved. WELL the arms are, for shipping purposes NOT set with their snap locks in place! One has to swivel them and make sure the button SNAPS into the hole. Someone else said, their swivel off toilet seat would not work. Well it isn't the seat you are supposed to SWIVEL off, you have to UNSCREW the bolts holding the seat, just like the older model ones. Then the plastic bolts DO go right in the holes they need to. I did however, install 2 soft garden hose washers, under the metal frame, against the toilet base. The toilet seat nuts screw on from the underside, just like before. There is a bit of play in the arms, but assuming you've assembled it correctly, snapped ALL the snap locks into actual holes and tightened the seat nuts, the frame isn't going anywhere. There are snap button locks on the rear of the arms as well as on the front legs. BOTH must be locked. The width between the arms can be either of 2 settings. This is a great product.

These work perfectly for everything that we need. They are only going to stand as tall as your toilet is, but this seems to be a pretty good working height for my mother. I bought this to accommodate her new raised toilet seat to allow her some steadiness when getting on and off the toilet. She says it makes a world of difference to her everyday life of using the restroom. They are sturdy and have rubber grips on the feet. The legs are adjustable to your toilet. It was super easy to install..it fits just under your old toilet lid and you screw it all back together as if the device were not there, which is super easy and made me feel better about the sturdiness of the device.

After a lot of research and reading the reviews I purchased this product. It was very simple to put together and install. It took less than 10 minutes, only because I took my time. I must say I thought the instructions were poorly writen. also the photos were of w p poor quality and not clear. It would have helped if they proveded some tips to make the product stable. However, in saying that if you use common since it is still a simple process and very stable. Some off the reviews stated the product was not stable. I can only assume it was not assembled correctly and the nessary ajustments were not made to insure stability. I am 6' 8" and 250 pounds with a bad back. My rails or solid and work great. They have made my life a lot easier.I love it and highly recommend this product.
