I've used it only a few times and it's worked great. Blew off the gun bench, aired a few tires and some other misc tasks and no issues. Yes it is loud but what compressor isn't? Best deal out there IMO since it came with an air hose, all the attachments and fittings and with prime!

The "inflation adapter" (between the blow gun & the inflation needles) was missing from the kit. Otherwise, the air compressor is ideal for what I need it for. Hopefully the company will read this and made things right! UPDATED REVIEW: The company representative informed me that this part had been discontinued but a replacement part was available and should have been included is my kit. She was very responsive to my emails!

I like to read the all the negative reviews before purchasing a product. After reading the reviews on this compressor I was a little concerned it might not do the job, but I took a chance because frankly I am flat broke and the price was right. I also knew if it was as bad as some made it sound, Amazon would make it right. Some negative reviews complained about leaks: I have not seen this problem. All I can say is unless you get a defective unit and if you know how to put thread tape on (supplied), you should have no leaks. I can charge the compressor to 110 psi and if I don't use it, the next day it is still at 110 psi. Some negative reviews also complained about noise: Yes, it is loud. However, it is no louder than I expected. The reviews made it sound like I would need ear protection to work around it. All I can think is that there was something wrong with their compressor, or they never listen to their music on 11...ever. :-) I purchased this for a nail gun. It does an excellent job. I get 40 or more nails on a 110 psi charge and it takes under 6 minutes to go from empty to 110 psi. The light weight makes it easy to move as work progresses. After 40 or so nails, a quick coffee break while it recharges. A great little compressor and it is an outstanding price. I don't know how well it will work for other types of applications, but for home projects, specifically nail gun projects, it is perfect. I am impressed and I give it my endorsement!

I purchased the 3 gallon size, for capacity as well as the price. Why it was less than the 2 gallon I have no idea. I saw a lot of people here complaining about the noise and frequency of this cycling on when using it for brad nailing or stapling. Well, that's what they do if they're working properly. If quieter machines are desired, one would have to go purchase a much more expensive compressor. One thing I wonder, are people dialing the pressure output down to what most tools need to operate? Most pneumatic tools only need around 70 to 90 PSI, anything higher than that you stand to destroy your tool. It will deliver 110 to 115 psi though and is powerful enough to drive the big boys shooting 8P nails, maybe even 16P. Although I would imagine it would cycle on after every shot. I use it for around the house chores like tire inflation and such, but did use it for brad nailing and it only cycled on after every 7 or 8 shots. For the money, and it's very lightweight design, I'm calling this one a winner.

I just been tired of the small air pumps for cars and waiting a lot of time to infalte son for $80 bucks I just get this compresor. NICE and EASY to set up, and working so fast as 30 minutes to complte the set up by instructions.

This is an excellent air compressor for small jobs. I use it for inflating and air brushing. I could not be happier with this. Price and shipping outstanding, very well packaged. Thank you Amazon! I see other reviews complaining how this air compressor doesn't do this and that . This air compressor has a great price for what it is intended. If you want an air compressor for air tools and painting get one with much higher cfm and be prepared to spend quite a bit more money. Thank you

I have two of these for small jobs around the house, mainly filling tires and rafts, tubes, etc. Works well. One of the units wouldn't not power on after about 11 months and a few uses. Contacted manufacturer under warranty and customer service was exceptional. Had a new, replacement in 4 business days.

First time power tool user... Realized a Brad nailer needed this, after buying the nailer! For my small woodwork project, I followed the break in instructions on this per the manual. Used the hose that came with it (found it difficult to screw it in).. the pressure system worked great. Auto shut off was reached at 110psi just as indicated in the box. After my use - 80psi, I had to release the pressure valve to empty the tank.

First of all, for those with complaints, look at the price. What did you expect? I bought this with a realistic mind frame to use around the house. I am an avid carpenter and own a few air nailers. Works perfectly, even with my framing nailer. Is it loud .... yes, does it recycle frequently? .... yes. BUT IT WAS CHEAP !!!! and it works perfectly. If it only last a couple of years it was worth it. Plus, it's so light it's easy to grab along with your tool box and move from room to room. I'm thinking of buying another to keep in my work van.

Was looking for a new basic air compressor for tires, etc., to replace the old B&D air station. While I've got a heavy duty compressor for nailing, painting, air tools, that is overkill and a PIA to move around just to check the wife's tires. The B&D connector just keeps popping off and the internal piston just ain't what it was. All the equivalent smaller compressors are a combined AC/DC, flasher, work light, cigarette lighter, weather radio, etc. All stuff I don't need to fill a tire in the driveway. So, I went with this as I thought this was the closest to not being overkill and not having all the stuff I don't need/want that only breaks anyway. Pretty happy with this CH, got some umph to it, but light enough to move around easily. Easy read gauges and are accurate. Highly suggest you keep the box as a storage unit to help protect the hose and connections. Those are pretty exposed and apt to getting hit by kids/wife. Nothing worse that finding the connections/hose broken when you need it most and you get the "I don't know" answer to how it happened. Box provides cheap insurance if you're not storing in a locker/cupboard.
