Makes my new sewing machine complete with this set. Wish it was thin enough to fit in the sewing machine case, but at least I have all my sewing tools in one spot.

Amazing price for all you get with this product! Everything is well made and you get a large selection of thread. I also love the box that everything is packaged in. There was enough room for me to add other items I already had, such as feet for my Singer Sewing Machine as well as other misc. items. 5-Stars all the way for value! A Must have!

A little info: I'm a beginner sewer, seamstress whatever is the correct terminology and I find this kit really helpful because of my situation. I can't really complain about the quality because they are of good quality to my situation though (Me being a beginner and all). However the bobbins looked kind of fragile but since I have a Brother machine it doesn't matter. The scissors are a bit stiff though, but they still cut well. Unlike other reviews I did not have a problem with the case or even will complain about it's "plastic" / "cheap" feel of the kit. Before I bought this kit, I read the reviews on here and was a bit scared. But I bought it anyways because it had tons of threads (with very pretty colors) for the price of aproximately 23 bucks. So for the people who are scared away because of the other reviews, I'd say go for it, however with the experienced sewers I'd say go for it too, but since you guys are experience and know what to look for I'd say stick to your guts. Overall I am giving this 5 stars. I'm satisfied with this purchased and glad that I purchased it. :)

fantastic at keeping all my stuff together and organized plus it came with so many thread colors which I needed. I would recommend this highly.

Thread, thread and more thread. Everything you could possibly need to sew in 1 convenient carrying case. It neatly fits into my closet. Jesh...i wish I had seen this 23 years ago when I was taking a sewing class in school. It sure beats the lame trays the teacher had us store our stuff in. And somehow things always came up missing. This way, I could have taken everything neatly with me.

I have read all the reviews in this, I even almost canclled the order cuz the reviews. However, I'm totally pleased with this my little 10 year old LOVES this and is so proud to have it... Some complained about the thread falling out every time you close, well not really, you and close the two ends at the same time to prevent them from falling out, and plus we put the card board holder that it was shipped with to hold the smaller thread in place ... Don't always trust the reviews sometimes you have to see for yourself ... I believe for a little girl and her first sewing kit, this was simply perfect!!

Pretty good. Great selection of threads and good organizational layout. Not amazing but for the price it does the job. Needles are probably the lowest quality item in here.

I bought this primarily as a mending kit. I don't sew, except to replace buttons or fix tears. So pretty much everything I need this for is hand-work. This kit is pretty much all you'd ever need for that. Thread spools cover most every major color, and plenty of needles and button-holers. And LOTS of storage space. You can combine the extra parts in 1 storage container, and use the others for your stuff. I packed them full of pins, extra buttons, snaps, etc. Now I have everything we need in one nice container.

I love this kit! I needed a storage kit to hold my thread nearly, as well as my other sewing embellishments. This is a great kit. The thread is very good quality, don't believe all of the other reviews. I used the thread in my singer sewing machine and by hand and it did not break! In added a lot of my own things to the side compartments. I have not been able to add my threads to it, as I haven't finished any of the threads yet to replace them with my own.

Top latch was broken when it arrived but I supser glued it and it's fine now. Everything else is as expected.
