Good Check Valve

The valve installs very easily as it is designed for the standard 1-1/2" NPT thread on all sump pumps. The rubber boot on the check valve will accommodate for 1.5" and 1.25" pvc pipe which is nice. The check valve operates as it should and very quietly.

Simple and useful, comes with clamps

Used this for a sump pump install in an outdoor location. Seems to be a good check valve. We shall see over time if it has any issues being outside all year. It fits PVC pipe well. I liked that it came with the clamps and it fit easily onto my sump pump

This is a must addition when adding a new sump pump......you won't be sorry.

A few general hand tools would be helpful

This valve has reversable connectors for two discharge pipe sizes. It early threads into the pumps DISCHARGE with out tools just wrap the threads with Teflon tape. It was so easy to install under my house like plug and play. You may need a saw if your existing discharge pipe is 1 1/4".

So easy a child could do it!

Works on both 1.5 and 1.25 inch discharge pipe

Recently installed this checkvalve on a new Wayne sump pump. Very simple installation. I used 1.25 inch pipe. You simply have to flip the rubber boot connector over and use the 2 clamps provided. Been raining 2 straight days since install so it is has been running a lot. Probably have 60-70 cycles on it so it’s very early in the longevity game. This is a new install. Previous stand pump was here and old when we moved into the house 27 yrs ago. We’ll see how this one holds up. Checkvalve is quiet and seals good (no back flow) so far. Arrived 3 days after ordering. No issues.

Great product at a fair price

I liked the fact that it came with everything (threaded check valve with boot and clamps to connect to drain pipe). Easy to install and works great.
