One obvious flaw.
I bought it because of the reviews versus other models. The obvious flaw isn't that there's not enough room in the box for wires (other reviews say it's cramped), it's because of the positioning of the breaker inside the box (upper left) that makes it a pain to run the wires to the top connections...especially because the #&@* door gets in the way! It's not unbearable, but it will have you cussing at the manufacturer for not putting it in the middle (or at least lower) in the box or not letting you remove the door (at least I didn't see a way). Once you get everything connected, you still have ample room inside the box. I feel sorry for anyone running # 6 gauge though (I used # 8). It's nice that this box has a smaller footprint, but I could've lived with it if they made it a couple inches bigger though. I guess once you are finally done with installing it, the only thing that really matters is that it doesn't fail, so I'm still happy with my decision on this over the poorly rated stuff at HD. Update 7/15/17 - No issues what-so-ever after nearly 2 months. It is a great unit. I feel I was overly critical now after adding additional (unrelated) wiring on (and under) my deck. It's always a pain when you're working in small spaces. Update: Fired up my hot tub a few days ago. Everything working perfectly, so no issues with this box. I'm bumping up to 5 stars because I believe it's probably the best thing out there for the price. Making the connections initially were a bit of a pain due to the door getting in the way, but not a big deal now that I have it in.

Great quality spa panel.
High quality as you'd expect from Square D. Plenty of space inside and has several knockouts for wiring. It is made for a home spa that requires a GFCI Breaker rated at 220 volts and 50 amps. It allows you to turn off the spa for maintenance and will trip the breaker if there is an electrical issue in the spa to prevent you from being shocked. Inside is a ground bar, neutral bar, double pole 50 amp breaker with GFCI built in. Both hot lines and the neutral from the spa connect to the breaker, the ground will connect to the ground bar.

Compact but works even with 6 AWG and 1" Conduit (if you remove 1 screw)
Nice compact Spa panel. I attached mine to a concrete block wall "in sight of the spa and more than 5 feet away" as required. Given the distance involved I used #6 wire, and to make it easier to pull I used 1" conduit. As you can see in the step by step photos, if you plan out the install it is pretty easy to wire it up even with #6 wire. [Edit: I did remove the door -- it's only held it by "bumps in a slot" so you can pry it out and put it back w/o problems] First thing I discovered is that to use the "right side" entry with 1" conduit, you will want to remove the lowest of the four ground lug screws, or you will not be able to tighten the nut on the conduit connector. This is not a problem as you should only have to use 2 of the four ground attachment points anyway. I removed the breaker to wire up the feed wires from my main panel inside the house. First I hooked up the neutral, electing a somewhat roundabout way of getting to the ground terminals, but this is to allow extra wire "just in case" and also to be able to stay out of the way of the planned route of the wires from the spa. 2nd was then to wire up the rest of the feed wires, also being sure to stay out of the way of the planned route of the spa wires. Then reinstall the breaker (3rd photo). Note I never remove the "pigtail" from it's pre-wired connection to the neutral bar. This way you can't put it back to the wrong bar, and it help you keep track of the breaker when you remove it! 4th step, the ground wire from the spa is connected to the neutral bar, nice and easy since the main feed wires are way out of the way. Finally all the spa wires are hooked up. I kept the red feeding the red and the black feeding the black, though it probably doesn't matter -- I'd just as soon know that the red wire in the main panel is the same side of the 220 as the red out by the spa. Reinstall the "face plate" and you're good to go! I was pleased that my spa had a "GFCI test" where it intentionally creates a ground fault and wants to see it's power go off as the GFCI trips. Very nice confidence booster to see that happen -- this tests your wiring (to a certain extent) unlike just the test of the breaker you get by pushing the test button on the breaker itself. All been in service for over a month now without a single issue.

Cheaper way to buy a 50A GFI
It seems crazy, but it is cheaper to buy this than to get the 50-amp HOME250GFICP circuit breaker. Just toss out the panel if you don't need it.

Perfect
I used this box to replace an old obsolete box that I couldn't find parts for. This thing is a way better price than anything I could find locally! The install was simple and I didn't find that there wasn't enough room for the wiring. If the door gets in your way, you can pop it off easily with a flathead screwdriver without hurting anything. Great price, great box!

A great spa panel!
I wired my own spa because my electrician was overseas. I included the Square D spa panel as part of the set up. While the power cable I used had very stiff 6 awg wire, I was able to securely wire it into the panel with a minimum of difficulty. I found soldiering the ends of the wire made securing it in the breakers much easier and bulletproof.

Breaker tripping. replaced under warranty
These breakers do sometimes trip for no apparent reason. And that is another problem, possibly manufacturer defect, but what I see in some review that if you buy at Amazon, you have no warranty. This may be incorrect. Yes, I did not find on the Amazon product page how to contact them for warranty, so I searched for Amazon phone number, and just called them about this unit. I bought it in May 2018 and supposedly still have warranty. Representative was very helpful and after few minutes of verifying stuff, he offered to send me a replacement unit. That was it.

Meets all safety aspects
I used this for my buddies hot tub that I installed for him. I paired it with a GFCI 50 amp 240v panel breaker wired along with a branch circuit 110v WP GFCI outside. The branch circuit is for protection to the hot tub breaker box to prevent environmental static interference. I purchased the same panel 10 years ago for the heat pump for my pool and it is still functioning like the day I bought it. I highly recommend this product for the quality and price.

The inner parts DO unscrew, y'know
This was the best price on the Internet for a Spa box. I read what everyone said about it being "cramped". Since my circuit run was over 75 feet, I had to use 6AWG wire. The parts are mounted in the box, but you can unscrew them! Also, like all other breakers, you can pull down and pivot out the circuit breaker. You do not have to wire everything in the box. That said, I wired it up PDQ . . . or as PDQ as number 6 wires will let you. It's a good box for an excellent price.
