• Ideal accessory for adding fluids to small engines, automotive transmissions and axles, farm equipment, and industrial equipment
  • Fits quart sized bottles and containers with traditional sized necks as commonly used for motor oil, ATF, and gear lube - not for use with wide-mouth necks
  • Rigid inlet tube won't curl like flexible tubes ensuring a more complete fluid transfer
  • 17 inch long, 3/8 inch diameter flexible outlet hose allows access to even hard to reach fill plugs and tubes
  • Transfers fluids at 4cc per stroke

Used this to replace the auto trans fluid in my 2012 F-150. The fill plug is right next to the catalytic converter and the level must be checked hot.. what a pain lol. It did take a lot of pumps, but the hose is just long enough to make it to the bottom of the quart bottle so that's good. The hose coming out of the pump was a bit short for my application, as it sucked being under a hot car pumping a bunch of individual quart bottles. I would consider buying a longer hose from the auto parts store so maybe I can do it from right next to the car. One more note, I used brake cleaner to flush this out afterwards and it seems the solvent softened up the rubber hose and it wont stay on the nozzle anymore. Should be fine because it was cheap and I'm going to buy a longer section of hose anyway.

I found this pump indispensable for changing the transfer case and rear differential oil on my 2013 Toyota RAV4. There just isn't enough room to pour oil directly out of the bottle and into the cases. I consider a pump to be pretty much mandatory for RAV4 gear oil changes. Pros: - Very smooth operation. Very controllable flow. - The included exit hose is plenty long enough to reach the cases in my circumstances. - The intake tube on my pump is rigid plastic rather than the clear hose pictured. I prefer that because the rigid tube reaches better to the bottom of the container. - The pump can be twisted and locked into the down position when not in use. Note: The pump screws into standard bottle openings. The opening on Red Line 75W85 GL-5 Gear Oil1 Quart bottles is non-standard--it's smaller--so the pump doesn't screw on. It'll still work; it just doesn't seal.

Works fantastic! I bought a special hand operated pump to change out manual trans. and differential oil before and it was a waste of time and miney, leaked everywhere! This pump made it so much easier...just connect to the bottle of choice, insert hose into item to be filled, and just keep pumping!! It takes about 30 pumps to empty a quart of heavy oil. The size is great as well. I could fit it under my Miata, while it was on ramps, and still have room to pump it. Just one side note though...This pump does not fit Redline brand bottles, for tgat i just transfered the Redline to a different 1 quart bottle that would work.

This pump works really well. It immediately began to transfer oil with one press. Some pumps I have used required multiple compressions of the nozzle to get the oil flowing. The pump did not leak either. It was a little smaller than I expected. This leads to its only con in that it has a relatively short stroke. It required quite a bit of pumping to empty 1 quart bottle, but that is a trade-off for a smaller pump that will fit into a smaller sized bottle. So if you plan on pumping more than a few quarts, go with a larger pump. Or, just suck it up and feel the burn in your hands.

I bought this with the intention of filling my transmission fluid after I dropped the pan and changed the filter on my 2011 F-150, which uses Motorcraft Mercon LV. This was my first experience doing this sort of thing; never used one of these before. I had no trouble fitting this pump onto the Mercon LV quart bottle. Even with fitment issues, the pump will still work without a proper seal, which is a good thing because the best way to clean it after use is by sticking the straw into a bucket of water and pumping the water through it. Something to note is the photo is NOT accurate. The bottom portion of the pump is not flexible tubing, it's a solid straight straw which is roughly 6" in length. The straight straw worked perfectly fine, after tilting the bottle a few ways while pumping I was able to remove all but 1/2 tablespoon of fluid. I ended up adding too much transmission fluid and had to take some out, this pump worked great for that too. It did require 3/8" tubing to be added to the straw end, which is just a tad larger than the tubing that is on the out spout. It took me roughly 4 minutes to pump out the entire quart, but I didn't have the truck raised, was laying half way under it and had to pump the bottle with my arms over and behind my head with minimal room to work with. I imagine if you had proper room to work, or better yet a lift, it would take less than 2 minutes per quart. I found the tubing to be adequate in length, roughly 17" inches; if anything it was a little too long for what I was doing, but again the truck wasn't raised. It's easy enough to unclasp the tubing and add a longer or shorter piece if needed. The one thing I found slightly frustrating, there is no way to release the suction in order to empty the fluid in the tube. This isn't a big deal if you plan to empty the entire quart because as you begin to pump air the tube begins to empty. It can get messy if you need to check the fluid level part way through a quart bottle. What worked for me was raising the tubing as high as I could to gain a few inches of empty space in the tube, then I wedged the tube between the trans lines which held it in an upright position. When it was all said and done, I'd lost about 1 tablespoon of fluid between drips on the pan, ground and my hand.

This pump came in extremely handy for adding transfer case and differential fluid in the tight spots offered by a 2005 X3 and 2012 X5. It fits the standard 1 qt "oil jug" and does a nice job reaching the bottom of the bottle. The tube that runs *in to* the bottle is not flexible, but runs straight to center-bottom of the jug. I don't know about other bottle fitments, so I'd advise keeping an empty 1 qt oil jug or two around for your specific needs. I used an empty 1 qt oil jug after doing and oil change, made sure the jug was drained thoroughly, added a small amount of the fluid I was going to use (e.g. gear oil) to rinse out the jug with the "target fluid", emptied that into my oil drain pan, then filled (and labeled) the jug with gear oil. The output hose on the pump is a good length and is flexible, and worked well for reaching the various fill ports I needed to access. It's a good buy in the amount of time it'll save you.

Looks kind of cheap, but worked as good as you would hope, for feeding your transmission 5 quarts. It was an unpleasant job, laying under a Ford Explorer, engine running, hot exhaust pipe inches away. Maybe a longer hose would have help a little, but it was still messy work. This pump did great though, didn't flex and bind, like some plastic hand pumps tend to do, where you have to be very careful, and precise. Good strong return spring, but not so stiff as to cause fatigue fighting it. Pumped a good, quick, steady pace, didn't take near as long as I figures. Sucked out the fluid well too, not enough left in each quart, to really bother trying to combine, to finish the job.

Fantastic. I used this pump with Honda MTF and it worked swimmingly. The only thing that could be improved is a flex internal hose like you see in this picture versus the hard, angle cut plastic that came with mine. It would have helped to get every last drop from the bottle and saved me from cracking open a third bottle for a couple of pumps. I'm not faulting it though because it did it's job well even while laying under a 2008 Civic Si. The only strange recommendation I'd make to other people using this while laying on the ground? Put the top of the pump against the bottom of the oil pan and push the bottom of the bottle up and down to get the pumping action to work. It's a lot less stressful than bending your arm into the shape of a chicken wing to use it.

This worked great. It really was self-priming and just worked really fast. I used it with Amsoil quarts, so it didn't fit around the top, but slid inside perfectly and reached the bottom as you can see in my photo. It really was easy to use and perfect for the intended purpose. I threw it away as I used it for rear differential lube which smells really bad and I would not want to mix fluids like that. Great product and exactly what I need.

This cheap little pump worked just awesome for me. Yeah, you might have to pump it a hundred times to get through a quart but it does the job just fine. I was able to pump 2 quarts of 90 weight gear fluid in just a matter of minutes. Previously I had bought a $10 pump from the local auto store and it immediately leaked oil all over the place while pumping. This thing did the trick I'm very happy with it. The supplied tube that goes into the bottle of a standard quart size bottle of gear oil is kind of short so I added a few inches of hose. With the additional hose it sucked up nearly every ounce.
