Just finished making myself a stamp for my etsy company. The kit is great however the instructions are very vague. I took my time and found this to be a very good stamp. I recommend it if you have a steady hand and a good and easy design to copy.

So easy a caveman could do it.

I have literally, NEVER made a stamp on my own before, so I ordered this kit since it has everything you need (including tracing paper, which I didn't realize was in the kit). For my upcoming wedding, we're doing table names instead and listing places that mean something to us! As a part of the visual, I decided to make some Hawaiian Island stamps. I never watched a YouTube video or anything and using this kit/reading the instructions was INCREDIBLY EASY. It might help that I do have some craft bones in my body, but who knows. I HIGHLY recommend this kit to any beginner.

Fun kit to try out rubber stamp making

I like this kit as a beginner rubber stamp carver. It comes with one basic wooden handle and two interchangeable blades. There is one small sheet of rubber to carve. That rubber can be cut to make a number of different stamps. I recommend getting this kit if you are a beginner or want to add a few carving knives to your collection. Just wish that each blade was housed on it's own handle.

Great Starter Kit!

Bought this for my first attempt at stamp making and I'm very satisfied. Kit comes with a 4x6 rubber block, a cutter handle & 2 blades, a small sheet of tracing paper and instructions. It does not come with ink pad or a mounting surface for your finished stamp. But for me, it was enough for a beginner to start. My project was a bookplate with my name and a crow on a 3x4 rectangle, so the block in this kit was enough for a spare in case I messed up. I quickly wished I had more blades, but with a bit of practice on the larger parts of the design I was able to carve out the sharp corners to my satisfaction with the 2 blades provided, and sometimes the help of a box cutter blade. The rubber block was dense and easy to cut. The kit doesn't come with ink pad, so to test my design I colored the raised area with a non-permanent marker and stamped it on a piece of paper while the ink was still wet. My bookplate came out great and I will definitely buy more blades to do more projects. But I recommend this as a starter kit.

Not as easy as you might think, still cheaper than having one made

Never made a stamp before, wasn't sure what to expect. It came fast and well packed. To be very honest it's not easy to make a stamp. I wanted one that had straight lines on it. You have to CARVE the darn things out of what feels like a pink eraser, they call it linoleum, w/gouges and carving tools (all supplied).. I wouldn't want this stuff on a floor of mine but I digress. Be prepared to make a few passes at it. I tried to make a flower stamp; MUCH easier than straight lines. Now that I am an experienced (not) stampster, I would and will do some in the future.

Perfect for needs

Great starter kit for a recently reconnected carving enthusiast. I hadn't carved in over ten years and I didn't have the tools anymore. The kit was perfect for what I needed and I made a lovely rubber stamp for my online shop to stamp on packages I send out.

Nice n Easy, Good Deal

Bought this to make a stamp and it was a great deal, couldn't find this anywhere, even michaels and hobby lobby. This was an easy to use product that was the right thickness for the stamp I wanted. I'll buy this again and I recommend it to any stamp maker.

A great starter kit

The Speedball SpeedyCarve stamp making kit is a great kit to start getting into stamping with! The carving bit is a wooden handle with two interchangeable blades, one of which is for carving small details and the other is for clearing off large areas. The blades are well made and do not dull easily and don’t get stuck in the handle piece. The rubber block is very soft and easy to carve, even with a well used blade. I found that you can even make two sided stamps if they are small enough. Pros: ~If you aren’t confident in your skills and knowledge, the manual is very informative ~A small sheet of transfer paper is included which makes transferring designs to the rubber block easy ~Simple and effective for starting out ~Arrived within a few days of purchasing There are no cons that I can think of for this product. It meets all the expectations and works well.

Excellent customer service!

Customer service is excellent. Complete replacement issued for a missing piece, rush delivery. As for the kit, as soon as I received it, I created four completely unique stamps. Very easy to use, even with a slight learning curve. The carving tool assembled very safely and easily. Very pleased with this purchase.

Good Kit

I am having so much fun with this kit!! The tools are nice and sharp (be careful!) and easy to use. My cat ripped up the transfer paper as soon as i opened the box, so I just drew my designs on regular printer paper and pressed them onto the block and that worked just fine!
