Make sure you flush the system with new fluid.

Best price I could’ve find on a Cardone reman steering gear box, (which I consider to be the best) . Went in without a hitch considering it’s in my 2500hd duramax. After install I flushed the system with 3 qts of fresh fluid using the hydroboost return as a drain. Now my steering and hydroboost assisted brakes feel like new

Nice tight rebuild. This is a 3 spline unit. Fit perfectly. Makes my 2006 Sierra with 160k miles steer like new.

Great product and price

Seemed to good to be true for the price, but it works good and I got the healthy rebate check so I'm happy. I'd say major pita to install but that's on GM not Cardone. Great product and way better price than you'll find anywhere else.

Made my Duramax drive like new again!

I bought a Cardone through another source, same exact product. It was also remanufactured. No surprises installing except my after market turbo intake pipe was in the way but no big deal and nothing to do with the steering box. Installed and drove the truck... I expected A LOT because my stock gear was fried. This reman gear box tightened up everything! Steered wonderful. I will add that if you change the steering box, you should definitely change the stabilizer shock. Between the two, you won't believe it.. It's like having a brand new truck again! Easy 5 stars from me!
