Bolted to my GM A-body and good to go

SO far so good, installed and no leaks. Good price too. Well sad to say the unit began to get tight and would lock up at certain points. No longer safe to drive. The 1966 Pontiac Tempest it was mounted on just got mostly weekend car show duty and car show cruises. The unit was guaranteed for a year and it made it just to that year and the issues began. I was hoping for more longevity from it. I just ordered a replacement and hope this one makes it.............

Great factory replacement part

Steering gear looked good upon delivery. Everything lined up well and splines, threads, etc were all correct for the pitman arm, hose fittings, and rag joint. Eliminated all the slack in the steering and leaks from my old gearbox. Seems a little tighter than the factory original but with time I'm sure it will loosen up. Between this piece, a new rag joint, and replacing the shocks, my 442 convertible steers great again!
