• Problem Solver powdered metal gusher bearing design enables grease to flow through the bearing to the stud for reduced friction and enhanced strength and stability.
  • Moog engineered steel composition results in a stronger component
  • Greaseable socket design allows new lubricant to flush contaminants from the assembly, reducing corrosion and wear
  • Loose or worn chassis parts can lead to premature tire wear

Fit my 2004.5 2500HD Duramax. I will say that mine was a 3 keyed pitman arm and not a 4 key. So I highly recommend you find that out prior to ordering because there are two models that fit these trucks depending on your steering gear box. And as to the pitman arm not seating all the way on the gear box shaft--mine seated perfectly fine. My one gripe is this does NOT come with a new nut, so dont ruin yours taking it off. Grease splines prior to installation and eat your wheaties before you attempt to remove and install this part. The pitman arm nut (34mm @ 185 ft lbs) is no baby.

Read a lot of reviews and posts on forums that the moog pitman arm doesnt go on as far as the stock one (06 4x4 silverado). Well come to find out that is not correct and it will seat just as far on steering box spindle as the stock one. Mine wasnt on all the way and sounded like that was fine until i talked to the alignment shop guy who informed me that if its down lower on that spindle it will change the angle to the cross link and actually lift on it. Long story short, you most likely will need a bigger impact than the one you have as the alignment shops zipped it all the way on no problem.

Product looks high quality, strong build. It was bought to be installed together with a power steering gear box, Perfect fit to a 2005 chevy avalanche base model. The loose driving feeling (steering wheel) is gone. Drives like a new new truck now!

I replaced the week stock pitman arm on my 05 Tahoe with this heavy duty one from Moog. Steering was all over the road when hitting potholes etc, but not any more with this pitman arm. Be sure to check the splines on your gear box before you order, some gear boxes have 3 key splines and some have 4. My 05 Tahoe has 4. Also replaced the stock idler arm and bracket with Moog at the same time and then got vehicle realigned.

This is not tapered like the OEM pitman arm so it did not slide all the way on the spline. Most online blogs said this was ok but I will be mindful of it while driving. Otherwise is a great OEM alternative. Has the grease fitting.

It was a challenge to pull it off (didn’t have the puller centered, that’s why..) but it went on really easy. Great replacement quality part and even better price. 2001 Tahoe LT 5.3 L 2WD

Moog , good product. 2007 gm truck has two options for the pitman arm. Three or four spline. Must remove nut and washer to determine which option you have before ordering.

This is a very heavy-duty part that is a great replacement for the factory pitman arm.

Mood always good quality make sure u need a 3 alignment pin or 4 pin this one for 4 pin

I tried those "House Brands" with the lifetime warranty. It cost me an extra alignment, because it failed after 9 months. The socket was so bad after that amount of time that it almost fell right out. That was scary. If it would have failed when I was pulling my 7000# trailer, someone could have been hurt bad. DO NOT try to save money on front end parts. Use MOOG, it is worth the extra cash.
