It’s rubber and sealed up. The old one was 30 years old and came out in pieces. Luckily I didn’t lose any of the old one inside the valve cover.

This was a super handy find. I broke my PCV valve and split the old dried out boot down the middle. The parts counter at the local auto parts store told me to call the dealership.
