Perfect fit on a 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport 3.7l V6 4x4
Perfect fit! Quality product! Be warned that it comes with a gasket but it DOES NOT come with replacement bolts. Consider changing the thermostat while you have everything open. Bolts on this vehicles are torqued to 40 ft. lbs.-tighten in a criss cross pattern (like you would as you tighten lug nuts on a tire). It is also suggested to build up to 40 ft. lbs. by tightening first to 20 ft. lbs. them 30 ft. lbs. and then finally, 40 ft. lbs. -All in a criss cross pattern to ensure proper tightening displacement.

Works Great!
Installed this in a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4.7 liter 8 cylinder engine. Easy install if you have a reasonable amount of mechanical aptitude and a socket set and a few other hand tools. The hardest part in my case was removing the metal protection/brush guard under the radiator. I needed access so I could drain it. Those bolts were rusted on, and one on each side wasn't lined up perfectly with the access hole in the guard. Once that was off, the job wasn't bad at all. As others have mentioned the 8 bolts in the water pump are different lengths...so make sure you mark each bolt as to where it goes. I watched a few YouTube videos and one suggestion was to put them in the corresponding hole of the new pump when you take them out. Once you have them all out, transfer the bolts in the correct position to the old pump sitting near you, and put them in one at a time on the new pump. Anyway, all in all, fairly straight forward job, and not terribly difficult. The pump seems to be of good quality and works just fine.

Excellent Product
Installed perfectly without a hitch. Installed on 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had a loud rattling noise coming from the original pump. I thought I had an engine problem. But I got lucky because it was fixed easily by replacing the pump. Note that the pulley/bearings are an integral part of the pump so you need to replace the entire assembly. I had to remove my alternator to pull out the pump but that was a piece of cake to do. I've learned to trust ACDelco for OEM part replacements. About a year ago I bought an ACDelco window drive assembly for my Jeep and it fit perfectly and worked as good if not better than the original. Yes, the gasket comes with this pump. In case you were wondering. Engine temperatures are running at normal degrees. What else can I say?

Better Than OEM
My truck water pump went out and I found this replacement part from a brand I've known for years. After removing the old water pump, I found that it was all busted up plastic inside. This new ACDelco water pump has all metal components in side. It fit perfect and now my truck is running great. It's an easy part to replace, if you're familiar with cars. Just look up a YouTube video. Take a picture of the serpentine belt pattern or make a sketch of it. Use the OEM bolts and make sure you keep them in the same order, because they're different sizes.

Exactly as stock. Easy to install. Recommend!
Water pump is sold & shipped by Amazon so I would think it's a legit AC Delco part and not a knock off. It came in an AC Delco box with label and part number. Mine had the AC Delco sticker like one person said but the propellor was metal, not plastic. Actually it is cast iron and looks exactly like stock. Easy to install. Not leaking now. Hoping it will last.

The gasket material and design was far better than the OEM gasket
This fit perfectly for my 2005 Jeep Liberty Renegade. The gasket material and design was far better than the OEM gasket. Spending a few extra dollars more for this model to get the metal spindle is worth it. A word of caution for those who haven't swapped out the water pump on a Jeep Liberty. The eight bolts are different sizes so be sure to mark each one with a sharpie when you remove them. I marked them 1 - 8 removing them clockwise. I torqued the bolts down to 40 ft pounds when installing them. Be sure to use the star pattern to tighten them down.

Saved my butt.. Everybody kept telling me Blown Head Gasket Blown Head Gasket.
Saved my butt.. Everybody kept telling me Blown Head Gasket Blown Head Gasket. I changed this and a few other things and BAM. The temp gauge doesn't even go up to 1/2 way and it's freakin HOT here. > If you really want to know if you have a Blown Head Gasket. With the cooling system full of water and the engine COLD remove the radiator cap and start the engine If you get a stream of water shooting up out of the radiator you have a Blown Head Gasket and a lot more problems. Also of course you may see oil in your water and or water in your oil and or you will be blowing white smoke from your exhaust But if it's just overheating but running fine just fix the basics man...

Upgrade Over OEM
It turns out the original water pump had a plastic impeller. When I removed the water pump, I realized the impeller was half disintegrated and there were small plastic pieces running all through the cooling system. I ended up replacing the radiator as well just to play it safe. The truck has 183,000 miles on it, I guess I can't complain too much. This ACDelco pump has the metal impeller and feels like it is made better. Once installed, it preformed as expected. The needle on the temp gauge stays a little closer to the C instead of in the middle. It's possible the pump had been failing for a while.

Piece of cake
I usually watch some youtube vids to get an idea of what we're getting in to when doing something new. Replacing this water pump on my wife's 2007 Liberty was one of the easiest jobs we've done under a hood. Used a small siphon hose to remove antifreeze from the radiator and from cavity pockets behind the pump the get a dry mating surface. Didn't use any RTV, only the rubber/silicone gasket that came with the pump. Liked the metal impeller instead of the factory plastic one.

GREAT VALUE
Fit 2004 Grand Cherokee, 4.7 L V8, no problem. Rubber gasket included. Needs no sealant. No bolts included. Keep them in order, and as you take out the old ones, clean them and re-use them. Might need to remove your alternator to make way for removal and installation, but exact same size as original. Works great so far. All metal parts, except the included gasket. Better price for AC DELCO than cheaper brands at local stores. Also, got within almost 48 hrs., when promised in 4-5 days. (2 days early.) What's not to like so far? Good, quick purchase!
