The original factory switch in my 1991 Pontiac Trans Am developed a sticky button and would not release completely, so the car computer was receiving a constant signal that the clutch pedal was depressed which meant that I was able to start the car anytime in any gear (neutral included) without having to actually push the clutch pedal all the way down...that was a dangerous situation. After installing this beautiful little part, I get zero response from the ignition system when trying to start the car without the clutch pedal fully depressed, and when the clutch pedal is fully depressed the car starts real nice. Perfect!

My 180,000-mile clutch switch was failing and would only allow my truck to start if I held the clutch pedal within a narrow band of a millimeter or two, which made it tough to find the right spot. But this is the perfect replacement part. Inexpensive, OE quality, and it didn't even require any tools to change it out. The old one just pops loose from its retainer, unclip the wiring harness connector, attach the connector to the new one, snap it in place on the retainer, and voila. Works great.

GM quality, an easy swap in 2 minutes that put my car back on the road. I have a 2006 Saturn SUV and this part was flagged as "does not fit," but I knew the part number was the correct one and ordered it anyway. Perfect fit. Just including this note in case someone else has a Saturn!

Perfect fit. Slid right into place. Took about a minute to install.

The item was a perfect fit easy to install. Product arrived promptly and intact.

Works as it should , installed on 2000 Saturn Sl1.

Used this in my 2002 Chevy Camaro. Worked as I expected.
