I ended up not having to use it but it was going to cost me more to ship it back than the part cost.

Ok, I must be really bored to review this product...but it works, just as it is intended to and I thought I would at least give some feedback regarding that. If it has a significantly positive impact on your life...you probably need to get out more, but you will be happy with what you get.

Probably won't need it for dishwasher 5 years old or less

I gave this five stars for the benefit of the doubt, but like several other reviewers, I didn't have to use it. Last summer I moved into a house that was built in 1995, and from what I can tell from records saved by the past owner, a new dishwasher was installed in 2010. In September 2015, my plumber installed an InSinkErator Pro 880 garbage disposal for the first time in this house. I bought the InSinkErator Dishwasher Connector Kit to be certain he would have all the supplies he needed. The plumber didn't use the kit, so I just gave it to him in case he needed it for another job. So if your dishwasher is five years old or less and has had average use, it's unlikely that you will need this connector kit for a disposer installation.

Does what it is suppose to do

I bought this for the installation to the InSinkErator I purchased for my kitchen remoldel. I hired a plumber to complete the install and as he stated "it did what it's suppose to do"! He slipped it on, tighten the clamp and presto!

Quiet and efficient

Does the job and is so quiet. It’s one of the things my husband shows of the guests when they visit because he so impressed with how quiet it is compared to our last unit
