I am happy with this product. After suspecting that I was ovulating well after the date suggested by the app I was using, I decided to get the ovulation strips to know my cycle better. Sure enough, the LH surge showed up on CD19 in a 30-31 day cycle. The picture shows the surge quite clearly. The older strips have faded a bit but the lines there were never the same color. One was always lighter than the other (as you can still see). The color is definitely the same for both lines on the last strip. These strips helped to reduce stress about when to time intercourse. My strips bled the pink dye for the first minute but it didn’t affect the reading. Also, there were no evaporated lines on my test strips. My suggestions if you’re new to mapping LH: 1. Follow the guidelines on when to start testing (from the leaflet in the package). 2. Don’t use First morning urine. FMU doesn’t have the accurate LH amount. Since your body produces it in the morning, it takes time to enter the blood/urine. Use a mid/late afternoon urine sample. 3. Wait the full 5 minutes before reading the result. The lines need time to develop.

These have consistently worked great for me over the last 4 months. I was suspicious that the ovulation tracking app I was using was off by 2-3 days, and these stripes confirmed it. Wanted to leave a couple of tips for peeps new to the product: *I wasn't aware, but it's commonly advised you take this test in the afternoon (some docs suggest this as apparently the hormone kicks in early morning and needs some time before it can be detected.) I took it using first morning urine 10-5 days out from my guesstimated ovulation date, and then twice a day (morning and afternoon at roughly the same time each day) on days 4-1 days out. It's a good idea to test twice daily when you're getting close to your predicted date as the hormone might only be detectable for 8-12 hours and if you only test once every 24 hours you might miss it. *the results strip gave me a very faint line just about every day I tested, and it did get fractionally darker the day before. But you'll know immediately when you get a positive result. It's very clear as you can see in my pic (and I used first morning urine). *be wary of drinking too much fluid before testing in the afternoon. I tested around 5pm, so no drinks or pee breaks 2-3 hours before that. Hope that helps and best if luck with your baby making!!

I know most women get these test strips in the hopes of getting pregnant. I use them for a different reason. A few months ago, I came off of birth control pills after about 2 decades of using them. I don't remember how my body works and am not sure if my body does. I've also learned that after these years, the body/hormone could be different. So to get to know my body/cycles, I purchased these test strips to be better able to understand when the ovulation happens and roughly predict and be prepared when the menstruation happens. So far, these strips have helped prevent the stress of not knowing what to do at what time. It's also helped me prevent pregnancy so to speak.

Work as expected. All had current best-by dates (not expired). I believe I only had one stick out of the two packs I bought of these that was unusable (the clear plastic part was coming off of the stick). Very clear to see the LH surge with the dark line. These helped me find my ovulation date even when I would test in the evening (versus the morning when urine is more concentrated) or when the urine was fresh and hadn't sat out to come down to room temperature (as the directions recommend. Great product to use while TTC or to track your cycle in general.

I had really great luck with these and credit them completely for our success in conceiving our second child so quickly. We started trying when DD was 6 months. My periods were back still weren't regular yet as I was breastfeeding. I used these for 3 cycles, along with checking cervical mucus and positioning and, on the 3rd cycle, BBT charting. In that time I had a 3 week cycle, an 8 week cycle, and what would have been a 5 week cycle had I not gotten pregnant. The two unsuccessful cycles I received a positive 6 then 9 days before my period began. I'm confident that my LPs were just out of whack because of breastfeeding, causing me to not have time to implant. The third cycle, the successful one, I confirmed the accuracy of these strips with my BBT - two days after my +OPK I had a significant temperature increase and it stayed up until I got a +HPT 9 days after my +OPK, at which point I stopped taking my temp. There is a learning curve and I would recommend anyone thinking of using these to really, really research fertility and conception so that you truly understand what's going on with your body. It makes it a lot easier than simply relying on a test strip, but the strips, to me, were invaluable. I made sure to always use my second morning urine. Your LH surge often happens in the early morning hours and may not be at full strength in your first morning urine. You don't want to drink too much before you use the strip, as it will dilute your urine. I would have a small glass of water when I got up around 7 and then use my urine between 9-10. After you get a +OPK, you usually have 12-24 hours before you ovulate.

When ttc, things can get expensive and buying these internet cheapies always seems like a great idea until you get a bunch of an accurate test, but I have nothing but Praises for these. Solid clear lines that showed progression over the course of five days getting darker towards my surge blazing positive during my surge and then getting lighter after. Would buy again and recommend to everyone

I love these tests. I used them for 2 years when we were trying to conceive our first child (ended up needing IVF), and I'm using them again now while we TTC #2! I've only had two pp cycles, and these picked up ovulation on CD 17 both times. I got AF exactly two weeks after. It seems my first pregnancy may have helped regulate the hormonal issues I was previously facing. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. If you want to be able to test multiple times a day to ensure that you catch your LH surge, these are great. Super cost-effective, and I have found them to be reliable.

My husband and I were trying to conceive our first child for almost a year. The first few cycles that I used these strips were a little frustrating because it's hard to tell when you've got a true positive. Although that's not the fault of this brand as I have heard all ovulation test strips are like this and they take some getting used to. If you have never used ovulation test strips before, please do some research and you'll see what I'm talking about. So if they aren't working for you the first cycle, don't get discouraged. My third cycle using these strips, I finally got a good, strong positive and became pregnant that same month. My little boy is 5 weeks old now!

These were recommended by my husband's doctor when we were having trouble conceiving. The first time I've ever been able to catch my ovulation was with this testing kit. We were successfully able to get pregnant and now have a beautiful baby girl. I'm very pleased with this product!

These are easy to use and come in a nice sized pack of 50. LH tests are sometimes hard to read regardless--so I won't fault the product for that. At first I thought I was losing my mind and I couldn't read the tests or I was doing it wrong--but then when it actually WAS showing LH levels it was a real AH HA moment for me. I recommend using them pretty regularly at first so you have a better idea of what a positive looks like vs. negative. Sometimes they are close calls, but if you do them regularly you might see a difference in the color (gets darker) so you can confirm that it is LH+ reading.
