I used this tool to compress the piston when changing the front pads on my 2002 Honda Accord, and it worked perfectly. I hope to get a lot of years of use out of this tool Some brake job 101 tips: 1) Use your old brake pad to compress the piston in conjunction with this tool. 2) Don't forget to open the cap on the brake master cylinder before compressing and watch the fluid level, so it doesn't overflow. 3) Start the car and pump your brakes after changing the pads before driving.

I know mechanics and car guys swear by C-Clamps, but I'm a YouTube University graduate trying to save a buck and do my own brakes from time to time. Got tired of borrowing these from Autozone. It's cheap, and makes the job easy to use.

I do most car maintenance myself, and in the past, have done anything possible to try and reset the brake caliper, sometimes even opening up the brake lines. Instead of dealing with having to bleed the lines after, or figure out some backend way to get the caliper to budge, I thought I would give this a try. And man did it work! I would assume the others that are similar would work as well, but this one did great and was the most economical one I saw. You may have to keep one of the pads in to create a flat surface for it to push against, especially if you have a two-caliper brake set-up like the front of my car does. But definitely a time and energy saver!

Cheap tool that gets the job done. The knob turned easily initially but got stuck after I compressed the first brake piston. Spraying a little liquid wrench on the threads did wonders and I was able to use it on the remaining 3 pistons without any problems. Highly recommended but make sure you apply a little lube/grease on the threads before using it.

I've used this on two of my vehicles so far. It works beautifully! The only thing I'd change is that the knob at the end was larger to make turning easier. But for $10, I really can't complain.

After years of finagling C clamps to push disc brake pistons back in, I finally broke down and bought this tool. It has served me well so far. Just put one of the old pads agains the piston, the black bar of the tool agains the caliper, and tighten; it works like a charm. It's a pretty simple tool, and seems of high quality. The company claims that their tools are designed for professional mechanics, so I expect that this will last me a long time.

Simple and easy to use. This is a tool that's meant to fit inside the brake caliper and pushes piston back into the caliper so that you can fit the caliper over your new brake pads. This tool should fit lots of cars except those that require you to twist the piston back into the caliper. Good build quality and materials. **Don't forget to remove the Brake reservoir cap while using this tool.

It’s a great tool for people who like to work on their own car. I know there are others out there saying it’s a waste of money since there are other ways to compress the calipers without using a brake compressor but the fact is the strength of my hands are as strong as an infant. Therefore this tool is very helpful for me.

This is a simple tool that holds up to it's intended job. I have changed several brakes using this and have had no problem. This is built with quality materials. Very simple tank of a small machine that I would recommend for anyone needing something low price to get several jobs done.

I've used C-clamps to accomplish what this does - they are bulky overkill. Clamps pull things together - this tool pushes. It's really good "bang for the buck". And because of the safety green knob, also easy to find when I do the next brake job! This is the right tool for the job!
