Telescoping handle great for added power, but you may need to buy a metric socket
I just bought this lug nut wrench and it seems to be very well made. When I actually use it I will add that to this review. Right off, I very much agree with Tony Jaeger's review where he noted that this telescoping handle will enable additional leverage. I also agree with JR's review that the included 13/16" and 7/8" sockets do not fit snugly on 21mm and 23mm lug nuts. So the included sockets may, or may not, meet your needs. In my case, the included 7/8" socket works great with my 2000 Toyota Camry stock lug nuts, my 2011 Scion xB stock lug nuts and the wheel lock keys for my McGard wheel locks and Gorilla spline drive lug nuts. However that same 7/8" socket is a sloppy fit on the lug nuts and wheel lock key for my 2008 Toyota Sienna with OEM alloy wheels. For that car, I'll need to get a 1/2" drive 21mm socket, like

Wish I had had it...
On 12.04.14, I was driving a dark Texas highway in the middle of the night with no moon, stars, or street lights. I was being careful because of the light rain when the right front tire came apart. Pieces of tire and the fender went everywhere! I got to the side of road okay but changing the tire was going to be fun in the near total darkness. I had a small pen LED light and I went to work. The reason for buying the breaker bar was because the tire iron in the back of car was bending as I loosen the lug nuts. If the lugs had been any tighter, the tire iron in the car would not have been able to remove them because I could see the steel stressing and starting to bend. Got it change but it was clear I need a better tool to change the tire. Got one for the car and later, I got a second for my truck.

Great Compact Lug Wrench
This is my second Gorilla Wrench. I purchased my first one for my Jeep Wrangler. This one is exactly the same, except for the short extension and thin wall deep sockets. I really like the addition of the extension because I took a short extension out of my toolbox to use with the gorilla wrench. The compact design is really nice and when it is extended even my wife can break loose the lug nuts on the Jeep. It fits nicely in the spare tire on the Honda CRV. This tool is made in Taiwan, not China. Ok, so China considers Taiwan their possession, but Taiwan has been ahead of the curve for decades. I've noticed higher quality from Taiwan for a long time. They value education for all of their citizens, making for more productive workers.

Excellent tool! Far better than the original factory supplied iron...
Great lug wrench. I do a lot of work on my vehicles... Brakes, tire rotations, suspension etc... I find myself removing a tire or two ( if not all of them) often, for one job or another.. I have struggled for years trying to find sockets that fit these modern tin covered nuts. Most often they are distorted, dented, and difficult to torque to spec once you do get a socket on them. The factory tire iron/lug wrench became useless after the first or second time using it. This was the perfect solution. The double sided/sized sockets are surprisingly well made, the bar itself is tough, great handle, nice chrome finish, and of course the telescoping feature is brilliant... I bought new, solid lug nuts to replace the factory nuts. ( I strongly suggest this if you have the tin covered lug nuts.. Gorilla has many options, though mine were purchased from another company) Now I'm prepared for anything. Highly recommend this lug wrench.

Forget those lug wrenches in the car. This is the real deal. Extends out for some real leverage. I need to change wheels a couple times a year and this is the best way to break the lugs so you can unscrew them by hand. Don't use it to tighten though, and make sure you loosen in the correct direction, since with the extendible arm you can apply too much torque and strip threads. I recommend also buying a good torque wrench for tightening. But this thing is great when you want to crack a stubborn nut. You can start with it short for less leverage and see if that's enough, and lengthen if needed.

Gorilla Power Wrench
After using a star lug wrench for many years, I decided to try the Gorilla telescoping power wrench and I am impressed by the additional power that this wrench seems to have. There is absolutely more torque with this wrench and I am able to remove lug nuts with less effort than the star wrench that I have used for years. The Gorilla wrench can expand to provide additional leverage needed to remove even the most difficult lug nuts attached to your wheels. The telescoping feature snaps into place and I found that in order to reduce it back to it's normal storing size you must depress the recessed spring button and slightly turn the wrench. You then just simply push the wrench against a hard surface such as the ground in order to collapse the wrench back to it's compact size. Two additional sockets are included as well as a protective plastic case to store your wrench. The Gorilla wrench is heavy and is of sound construction and I am very pleased with this purchase.

The Skinny on the Gorilla
Context: I have a full size Chevy truck and a full sized Nissan sedan. Pros 1) The sockets are built 2 sizes in 1. A size on either end of a socket. Sounded strange to me at first but the sockets go on snug from either end. 2) The wrench is standard 1/2" drive so any 1/2 drive socket will fit the lug wrench. 3) The wrench telescopes out to a length that should remove any stubborn lug nut; no problem. Be advised: The sockets included with the lug wrench will not fit an ordinary ratchet or breaker bar. The sockets included are designed for this lug wrench. Cons 1) You will still need to buy a SHORT handle 4-way lug nut wrench. After you break the lug nut loose with the Gorilla, then you will want the short handle 4-way lug wrench to spin the lug nuts off quickly. If you have changed a tire then you know exactly what I mean. You need to change a tire quickly at night or on a busy interstate. Verdict: I was glad I purchased this. If I had to do again I would possibly price out a heavy duty 24" breaker bar with separate deep well sockets. Just another solution that can be considered. Buy the cheaper of the two.

Great leverage - small package!
This thing is great. We have a travel trailer and I've used this not only for the tow vehicle but for the trailer as well. It's handy to have one small package for all our tire needs. It gives you plenty of leverage for getting lug nuts off and plenty for tightening them. When it's fully extended you can't really spin it around to get lug nuts off that are loose but too tight to turn by hand (you have to collapse it again). But that's a small price to pay for having that extra leverage. It's a very handy tool. Nice to have the common sizes in only 2 sockets - less things to lose (as opposed to having one socket for each size).

Very sturdy yet compact
I purchased this tool to keep in my truck. I have several trailers ranging from a 32ft travel trailer to down to a 5x10ft utility trailer. With this tool I can have a lug wrench that will work for all trailers. It extends to give you good leverage to break lug nuts loose. It is also compact which is good since it should be stored most all the time (if not I should be replacing tires). I am very pleased with this purchase.

Keep one in each car
Overall great lug wrench, now I keep one in each car. The telescoping handle makes a HUGE difference in getting enough torque to loosen tight lug nuts. Discovered this after struggling to use the basic wrench (that came with the car) to replace a flat tire. Trying the same with this Gorilla wrench, and it took only seconds to loosen, no problem at all. Also appreciate the 4 different socket sizes, so it should work with the majority of lug nuts. And, when collapsed, it easily fits in the space with the spare tire, and has a nice storage pouch. Highly recommended!
