It works

I had a low profile air cleaner and the standard Edelbrock fuel inlet didn't allow the air cleaner to sit down on the carburetor properly. I have limited hood space and I didn't like the spacer that I had purchased before and this put the fuel line in line with the inlet tube. I should have purchased it to start with.

This 8089 inlet fitting for my Edelbrock Performer 500cfm 4bbl carburetor along with the 2" high Edelbrock 1218 air filter element gave me the hood clearance I needed after installing the Performer intake manifold (which is a higher rise than the stock manifold).

good items but no needed because edelbrock is now making A item, 8126, which clears the air cleaner and fuel bowl. Edelbrock should of made this item, 8126, years ago.

Does what is intended.
