My mother in law had a rain barrel that was sitting too close to the ground, so the water wouldn't flow like it should. We unscrewed the screen off the rain barrel, put the one end in and a hose attached to the other and out came the water! The water didn't go to waste as she was able to water the yard while we emptied the barrel. The pressure was pretty decent as she had a very long hose, yet was still able to get a good flow of water. Great little pump to have if you need to get water out of something. Now we have the rain barrel moved to a higher elevation, however if she gets in a bind again, she is good to go!

Used to it pump waters from our crawl space after the 2017's heavy rains and it works just fine. Used it with 50' garden hose and it pumps about 5 gallon per minute (I measured with a Home Depot bucket). It could be quieter but not a deal breaker. There are similar pumps on the market with different brand names.

Come's with extra impeller's. works like a charm, I have to haul "good" water to my campsite in a 55 gal. drum to fill the trailer and it pumps alot faster than siphoning. I keep a small bottle of veg. oil in the box with the pump and add a little before and after I use it and don't expect the impellers to wear out any time soon. For the price, great buy.

Installed on my IBC water tote to water my raised beds. I am pushing thru ~50' of hose with no problem. Also have a cutoff on the end to adjust flow. You can hear it straning the motor so I do it as little as possible. Also installed a plug on the outlet with a remote control to turn the water on and off. Works pretty good. Also put the whole pump under a milk jug to keep it out of the weather.

This is a great pump, almost worth everyone having one just in case. I bought it to pump out a king size waterbed. The directions were easy, although it says to put a tablespoon of food oil in the intake and output connections (a little strange, and only a teaspoon of oil fit into the value). The waterbed took 90 minutes to empty, no issues whatsoever. I could have sped things up by using a wider hose, but I have no complaints. I ran 175 feet(!) of hose from the bedroom down the hall, thru the front door, down the driveway and out onto the street. Now that's what you call pushing water! Now I will happily put it into storage, happy to know that the next time I have water issues or my basement sump pump breaks, I have a spare pump ready to go. Simply put the intake hose into the water, put the out take hose onto the spigot, plug it in and it's that easy.

This pump rocks for changing the water out in my aquariums. It allows me to pump water out of my tanks and while it’s pumping I have my python return line from my sink putting water back in the tank I have just done. I have 7 total tanks and this pump took my water change time from 4 hours down to 60-90 minutes. More that paid for itself many times over. Also, the attachment that goes at the end of the intake is perfect because it completely protects the fish from getting sucked in and it dispurses the suction power that fish can’t get stuck either. Love, love, love this pump. Also, it dry starts just fine and I have never had a problem with it starting up.

It does and works exactly as described. It is more powerful than expected. I forgot to open the Vent valve and see what it did to my rain barrel. It sucked the crap out of it.

Worked better then expected. Wish I had this sooner after years of draining my waterbed the slow and wasteful way. Took about 30 minutes to drain a SS, it was quick. Pump was decently quiet, never got hot to the touch. You don't drain waterbeds often unless you replace the mattress so this pump will get limited use. Hope it works the next time I need it after the hibernation it's going to have. Just a note, their own website claims made in the USA, mine says Taiwan.

This is perfect for a water park bounce house. Should pay for itself and save water. We leave our bounce house inflated for days at a time. I did the math and it cost less than $2 a day to keep a bounce house inflated. We fill it with weather then use this pump to circulate water. When we are done, we put the pump hose on a sprinkler and water the lawn. This is the perfect GPH for a bounce house and it's quiet and reliable. Love it.

Little champ! I have an area in the yard that will sit water after extremely hard rains and take a couple of days to dry out. It probably measures about 30 x 30 feet and can collect about 2 or more inches of water. Haven't gotten around to digging that french drain yet, but decided to give this pump a try. It works great! I've used it several times. It takes all day to drain the low area, but does it easily down almost to the ground area with the included water suction attachment. Improvements? Suggest you cover the water suction attachment with a small grate ( I found a small mesh bag). This will help keep leaves from clogging the intake and easier to clear. Ideally, I could have used a stronger pump, but isn't much of a problem to turn on and let go - just checking for clogging and making sure water is covering the intake. Priming was easy. I add a teaspoon of vegetable oil to both intake / outtake sides of the pump and just pour a little water (less than small pitcher) into the intake tube. The pump itself is well constructed. I've used Wayne pumps before - we have a water well, so this wasn't much of a decision.
