I love this
I love this! I've had a Xyron 1.5 inch for years and I thought that was great, but this year I needed something a little larger to make my Christmas cards so I bought the 2.5" machine. It's wonderful. Showed it to a friend and she asked her husband for one for Christmas. The adhesive's great and it's easy to load the refills. I'd suggest you buy several refills because your going to be using it for making all kinds of stickers including photo's. In addition to my Christmas cards I used it to make gift tags. I cut out a white tag with a gift shaped window, and a solid colored tag. I ran the colored tag through the Xyron, attached the white tag to it and then put glitter on the exposed adhesive in the window. Everyone loved them and they really dressed up my plain craft paper wrappings.

Can't live without it!
If you're in to paper crafting, you need this machine! The permanent adhesive is sticky, the machine always works exactly how I hoped - without fail. Sometimes I do need to retrieve a little extra adhesive that doesn't get picked up in small openings of letters or cutouts, but not a big deal compared to what an absolute pain it would be to glue all that by hand. I was between this 2.5 in machine and the 5 inch, and I'm so glad I got this one. It's bigger than you think it will be, and the refills are almost half the price - don't forget about the consumables because that is the investment that you are committing to make here over and over and over. Plus, it's really my 2.5-inch-and-smaller pieces that are the ones I need help adhering. Once they get bigger, it's no big deal to use craft glue or glue dots. If you do any sort of intricate paper crafting, look no further. Once you've bought it you'll wonder what you ever did without it!

This is the perfect size for making labels for my homemade products
This is the perfect size for making labels for my homemade products. I was having a hard time finding labels I needed, this takes that stress away! i can now create my own label with a design, run it through this little machine and i now have the label i need and want! One thing I will mention, but not remove a star for, is that if you use thicker paper and try to wrap it around a smaller item (lip balm tube) the end will pop up. I just switched to a thinner paper and problem solved!

Love the ability to use my Cricut and this in ...
Why didn't I buy this sooner! Love the ability to use my Cricut and this in tandem to turn nearly anything I want into a sticker! My first project is displayed in the photo - worked fantastically!

Love it so far, not sure how many stickers we will get
This is relatively new, so I'm not sure how many stickers we will get out of it. The one that arrived was a different color than the one shown in the picture. There are a couple different 'sticky' backs - permanent or repositional. Mine was permanent (like a normal sticker). They are not super sticky, so when attached to a shirt, they don't last that long. It is best to make a number of stickers at once, as you lose a bunch of material when you do one at a time because you need to advance it far enough to rip it off. But if you did a number at once, there would be little room between the stickers and you would get more value. So far it has been easy to rip them off (using the serrated edge). Only once was the size close to the max size, and the sticker got a little folded up when it came out. Overall, this is great. My daughter (6 yrs old) loves to make stickers, and I've had a couple teachers ask where they can get one. I expect to get a lot of use out of this. If any disadvantages arise with continued use, I will update this review.

Neatest thing for crafts I've EVER bought!
... and that is saying a lot. I wish I could figure out how this think worked! No batteries, heat, or electricity required. Just a refill of magic film. Ordered because I could not believe it. You can make stickers out of any shape, no cutting required. Portable. Awesome. I may purchase larger size for photos, but this size is great because I collect a lot of small items that I like to paste into my daily journal. I hate glue sticks! You might think this is expensive for what it is, but there's no mess and adhesive is applied uniformly to back of item with very little fuss. Feed item in on one side, turn the crank, and it comes out the other with permanent adhesive on the back, stuck on a strip of wax paper backing. Amazing! Note that you can also purchase repositional adhesive cartridges if you would like to adjust your sticker; but I prefer the permanent.

Little sticker maker
This is a good little sticker maker and a good price for the machine plus 20 feet of adhesive cartridge. This one is a 2.5" sticker maker for smaller size photos or whatever you want to make into a sticker. I use this machine plus other Zyron machines all the time in my scrapbooking, and they all work well. I actually do prefer the repositionable adhesive cartridges, but when you buy a machine and cartridge it comes with the permanent one. But you can buy the repositionable cartridges, because trust me, if you do any scrapbooking you'll need more.

Amazing 10/10
This is amazing! I have ALWAYS wanted to make my digital drawings into stickers, but I didn't want to order them from a website because you have to order a minimum of 100 or 250+. Now I can make one sticker or 100 stickers! The adhesive is very strong, which is perfect for what I want. It also works really well with laminated things too. I included some images of the stickers I made. I even have one on our car window (I placed it face down and stuck it on the inside of the window so it doesn't get wet.) The only problem with putting the image face down is sometimes some of the printed ink comes off, but laminating the image before adding the adhesive to the color side would fix that issue!

Excellent addition to crafting
I recently replaced my smaller "X" version sticker creater for this one and I am so happy that I did. It's is such a user friendly machine. No electricity needed - added plus and it is small enough to pop into my craft bag for transport. But the best part is the functionality. I wanted to put mustaches on cups for a baby shower and did not want to spend hours gluing them down; with this machine I was able to feed 50 2" mustaches through the machine and then transfer them to the cups in a little bit short of 30 minutes. I used the permanent sticker film that came with the machine. 20 feet goes a long ways. However, being a big crafter, I additionally purchased 2 replacement packs each of the permanent and the reposition type sticker rolls. I highly highly recommend this to anyone whether you are an avid crafter or just want to turn your small items into stickers. I have also used it to glue down designs on bottle caps, prior to sealing with mod podge.

Works great for Small Bookplates.
This is our second unit. It works well for making bookplates for our library books. The one thing to watch for, especially if more than one person is using it, is an adhesive buildup on the rollers. If noticed in time, it can be cleaned with alcohol on a wet cleaning cloth.
