Easy to work with and high quality
I used this tape to seal the seams after I installed the Design Engineering Floor & Tunnel Shield on my transmission tunnel. The tape was easy to work with and was plenty sticky to get the job done. I hope the adhesive stand the test of time, we'll see.

Pretty Amazing stuff
If you are a patient person, you can do some amazing stuff with this tape. I covered every non-flow area of my intercooler with it, and the impact on heatsoak is dramatic. it doesn't seem like it is that sticky when you're applying it, but it's been on for a few months now and it hasn't budged.

Conducted ambient test, 400 upto 1000 degree F My self before installing over the engine of Diesel RV. Glue melted but the foil didn't even loose it's shine. This is safe near extreme heat .

As Described
Used it to wrap a metal fuel line close to a tail pipe. It adhered well after cleaning the fuel line. Time will tell if it reduces the fuel temperature in the line and if it will remain durable. I applied double layers.

Great for reducing IAT temps
I used this to insulate my 06 S2000 stock airbox with great results. I have only insulated the intake tubing and the top of the airbox and have seen a reduction of Intake Air Temperatures of 2-5 degrees Fahrenheit in stop and go traffic; ambient temps between 65-80 degrees Fahrenheit. I will be insulating the rest of the airbox in the near future and I am expecting to see even more temperature reduction. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to reduce engine heat soak.

Good for CAI.
I used this to wrap the tube on my Cold Air Intake, which is made of metal. This was the perfect length to cover it. It seems to hold on well and feels cool to the touch.

Great, used to stop heat from aqarium LED lights from transferring to wood aquarium hood
Works as advertised, although some of the previous complaints do apply (not super sticky), etc. I used it to stop heat from my new high wattage LED light system for my aquarium from transferring to the wooden aquarium hood I connected them to. Tape was perfect for that application.

very nice product, it actually has some thickness to it
very nice product, it actually has some thickness to it. I used this to wrap anything that got a bit close to a set of long tube headers, including brake lines, wires, fluid lines, electrical wires, and my steering shaft. I found it was not quite as sticky as I would have liked it, however using a set of stainless zipties does a nice job of preventing it from coming off.
