I've tried so many different red teas in the stores around me, none came close to this one. I don't know what they do different with it. The vanilla maybe? But the actually body is so much smoother and sweeter too. Only "downside" is it really takes me two packets to get my desired brew strength. (I took a star off freshness at 4/5 solely for that reason; was my best guess) Still totally worth it and the best red tea I've been able to find, and I've tried a LOT.

I got this because another review compared it to the more expensive Republic of Tea variety, which I'd had before. Well, they're right. It basically just tastes like rooibos... I dunno about the vanilla, but it tastes good, and the price is right. For someone who drinks several cups of tea a day, this is a better choice for me. Small bonus, the minimal packaging is nice, though this came in a box... within a bigger box. Kinda wish they'd just mailed the inner box. One of the packages was gently smooshed still somehow, but obvs no damage to the tea bags.

The tea flavor used to be sold in all of our local stores but I guess it wasn't particularly popular and they stopped selling. Couldn't find it anywhere so I checked if Celestial was still making this flavor and that's when I came across the listing here. I am by no means a tea fan, I much prefer coffee and I usually don't enjoy anything claiming to be 'vanilla' anything. However, this tea is so smooth and natually sweet. Its a must have during winter as a quick but not too filling warm up (no disrespect to hot cocoa) or when anyone at home is sick because its caffeine free so we can slip right back into bed to rest up. This came in a shoebox sized package with the Celestial logo and inside was 6 individally wrapped boxes (20 teabags each). We're so happy to have a stockpile of this stuff!

The added vanilla adds another layer of delicious flavor to this deep red tea. It tastes lovely hot or cold, and I’m hoping it will make a positive difference in my husband’s normally high cholesterol level. He hasn’t been able to stick with any of the cholesterol-lowering prescription drugs due to side effects, so I searched for another answer, and 4 cups per day of Rooibos Tea popped up in my web search. Can’t wait for the next blood work to see how much difference Rooibos Tea will make.

Celestial seasoning has been by favorite tea since 1982. I have enjoyed the flavor of many of their herbal teas. This rooibos no caffeine herbal tea is the closest to a natural black tea. I especially like the hint of vanilla and cinnamon. It does not overwhelm the natural flavors. Comforting and relaxing day or night.

My favorite tea. Really it's the ONLY tea I like. I don't do caffeine so coffee and sodas are out. I tried a number of teas before finding this one. And I love it. I drink it with honey and milk in it and could drink it all day. Actually, since we got our keurig (my husband's coffee maker and my instant hot water provider :) ) I sometimes do drink it all day. It's just so easy to pop a bag in my mug and add the hot water. My grocery store doesn't carry it anymore, so 'thank you!' to Amazon to having it. Net of it all - I definitely recommend this tea. I don't know the right fancy tea words to use to describe it, I just know I like it. And everyone I've recommended it to likes it too. So, try it - you'll like it!

This tea is sooooo delicious!! We do like several Celestial Seasons teas!! This one is tied for family fave!! We also like the bengal spice! But the flavors in this are wonderful! Add a touch of vanilla creamer and it’s a HOMERUN!!! Soooo happy I bought it and I WILL buy more when I get to the last box!!!!

I love this tea! It’s my favorite of all time. The vanilla compliments the natural earthy flavor of the rooibos without overpowering it.

This tea is really tasty! I bought it as a substitute for Trader Joe's seasonal Pumpkin Roiboos (if you've ever had this, you know why I was looking for a substitute...one word-AWESOME). It doesn't really duplicate those flavors, but that's okay! Variety, spice of life, all that jazz. This is a really mellow tea. I drink it any time of the day or night, so, of course, no worries about caffeine, but mostly I drink it because of the mellow smoothness. I feel like I'm in a liquor commercial now, so I'll wrap up by saying that to enjoy it to the fullest, don't overbrew (that's where the cough medicine comments are coming from, I think) and drink up!

This stuff is delicious and knocks me out to sleep. Not everyone responds this way but if I drink this with melatonin and magnesium I am gone for 9 hours. It is A LOT of tea though, esp just for 1 person.
