Good
Great nylon strings, just as expected. They worked just fine on my daughter's mini classical guitar. They are as good quality wise as much more expensive strings I've purchased in the past. They are much softer to the touch and easier for her to learn on than my steel strings on my acoustic guitar. They came labeled with both the note name and the string number, which made putting them on easy and quick.

D'ADDARIO, MY GO-TO STRING MAKER!
I always use D'Addario Strings, whether on my banjo's, guitar's, ukulele's. They never disappoint. I have a little beater classical guitar that I carry around and have never changed the strings. I realized it was time to give it a good cleaning and a set up so I knew new strings had to be on the list. There is the usual break-in time, as is expected with classical strings, and the strings are ringing out, also as expected. I have started using a product by GHS called FAST-FRET on my new strings to keep them lubricated and clean, so I expect these to last for some time. I recommend any of the many D'Addario products for all your instrument needs. They are reasonably priced, made with quality in mind, and are consistent. UPDATE: WOW! After I cleaned up the fretboard and polished the frets, shaved 3/16" off the saddle and installed the Pro-Arte strings, I'm loving my 10 dollar classical guitar. The normal tension, clear nylon strings play like butter but I would definitely advise an action adjustment. Since you won't be hammering the strings I would suggest going as low as you can. I've put mine at 2mm on 6th string, 12th fret.

One of the best strings on the market.
What I like most about these strings is they last a long time. Long. They sound good for a long time. The bases produce gorgeous tones, very harmonically resonant presence; fat. They're soft to the touch. They look good, too. They tend to stay in tune during temperature variations. The trebles are not quite as bright as some others, but still sound good. Like most nylon trebles, they change tune with temperature variations. Overall, these are one of the best sounding nylon string sets I have tried, and their longevity is a real plus if you don't like changing strings all the time. This rating is based on using a high-quality, Spanish-made classical guitar with solid rosewood sides, back and cedar top. Your results may vary.

Great strings
There's not too much to say about these strings that wasn't already said before. They're great-sounding. Being low tension, you're going to get a nice, mellow, "soft" sound compared to the "bite" of higher tension strings. If you play constantly, don't expect them to last too long, especially the basses. This is not a negative; it's just the nature of it all. People have complained of the high E coming loose at the bridge. What's probably happening is there's not enough anchoring going on. My advice is to give yourself a lot of slack (say about 4 or 5 inches) at the bridge after the knot is tied. Cut it after giving it a few hours (or days) to settle. Highly recommended.

Beautiful.
Sounds great on my grandpa's nylon string acoustic guitar. I had gotten the guitar out of its case from inside the garage and a string instantly broke from old age so I decided to purchase these as a replacement. Have not had any string break over the 6 months I have been playing with the new string. I inculded a photo to show they are tie ends. Also don't yell at me for not replacing every string for sound consistency between the new and old strings, it sounds fine!

Excellent strings
They don't quite have the Umph or, sparkle that Aranjuez has in the wound lower register-However, one, doesn't always need that!! Seems like they're trying too hard to prevent squeeks! A good guitarist squeeks, only when it's musical to do so, anyway!

Great product. Hard tension, nice and loud. Not ball end, have to tie yourself
Excellent product and sound. As the description states, these strings are meant for a classical acoustic guitar. They are nylon strings, but they are hard tension meaning they will be louder and harder to play. I've been looking for these for a while. If you're looking for nylon strings, make sure you do your homework, because I accidentally bought two sets but they were very light strings that basically flopped on the neck when playing. These are not ball end, so make sure you know how to tie them if you're changing these strings yourself. I'm glad I found these, they sound great and the tension adds plenty of volume. Really satisfied with this product.

Great Guitar strings for recreational classical guitar
Great strings for the price. I have been playing classical guitar for 5 years and have found these strings to produce great tone and are exceptional quality. I do not perform professionally or perform for others on classical guitar. But for practicing pieces and performing for friends and family they sound great. No complaints.

Very nice strings at a decent price
I have owned 6 guitars so far, including two acoustics and one classical acoustic that I found at a steal of a price at a flea market. The worst parts of the acoustic were terrible tuners and equally awful strings. I quickly ordered up these D'Addario strings and restrung it, and the difference was night and day. They did require a lot of stretching before they would stay in tune, but now they hold tune excellently and seem like they will last quite a long time. Happy with my purchase, I'd definitely recommend these. Please rate up if I was able to help you out :) - Matt

Very Good Strings
I've been playing for 34 years. I'm not a pro and I don't get to play as much as I'd like. I have several classical and electrics - all carefully chosen. So, strings tend to stay on my guitars for a while. These have held up really well and sound great to my ear. After several weeks of sitting they are only very slightly off. Will definitely reorder when I need more! I use RIG gun oil to lubricate all my guitar strings between playing. Keeps the corrosion down really well. I've had strings last and still be playable for months and months. I see people recommending changing strings every 2 weeks and just shake my head. Classical strings aren't even stabilized at 2 weeks to my ear. Bottom line - I've played a lot of classical strings over the years. These are some of the nicest I have played and are better than many I've played that were a lot more expensive. Excellent deal! Don't expect strings to compensate for a bad guitar. You are far, far better off really searching for a great sounding guitar than spending a fortune on designer strings. If you manage to find a great sounding guitar, I believe you will be very happy with these strings.
