I've had mine for over 2 years now and love it. Comes in handy and has every feature I need for the moderate to heavy do it yourself'er. Genuinely great product! Batteries are 2 AA's and have been in it for 2 years and still going strong. Love the auto shut-off and auto-adjust features. Not too bulky either. Really like it. Jan 2019 Update: I have had this multimeter for 4 years now, almost to the day, and it is still working flawlessly. I have since purchased one from Harbor freight for use at my cottage. I am regretting not buying this one again. The harbor freight is not even in the same stratosphere when it comes to use and quality. The voltage reading on the harbor freight when I tested my car battery was off by 2V. Throwing the harbor freight one in the garbage and purchasing another one of these. No regrets and highly recommended. Very surprised at the poor reviews. That stinks if you’ve had problems with yours because mine is been flawless. Maybe they do need better quality control? I’m going to press my luck and get another one. If I have issues I will update this review.

Got this auto sensing digital multimeter to replace a cheap harbor freight one that literally fell apart. The readout is large and clear, the dial is easy to navigate and the tone for continuity is a huge help when tracing wiring. If the meter doesn't sense any voltage it will cycle through numbers searching instead of just not displaying anything. I've already dropped it once or twice and it has held up really well. I've gotten plenty of use out of it and would recommend it to someone who is looking for a good meter, with lots of helpful features for a pretty good price.

This is the third time I've bought the Innova 3320 meter. Why? Because I need one in each of my tool bags, and I gave one to my son for his tool bag. Each time, I think I'll look around and find something better for the price, and I don't. If most of your work is in DIY household electrical work (checking the voltage at outlets and switches, repairing small equipment, working on your car, checking batteries, sorting out DC electrical issues on a boat or RV), this works just fine. But most importantly, it bounces around a tool bag for years and keeps on working. The probes are still good , although I do keep it in a small bag for organization. It's light enough to hold in one hand while measuring, but large enough to stay in place when I put it down somewhere. The probe wires are long enough for automotive testing. I can read the screen in daylight. It shuts itself off when I forget. The battery lasts a long time. It does what it needs to do - measure DC and AC voltage, measure resistance. I used it the other day to verify the voltage drop between the battery post and the terminals on the battery cable on my Ford F250 diesel dual battery system, and determined I needed new battery cables. If you build electronics, no, this is likely not a good meter for you.

The Innova 3320 Digital Multimeter]] has all the standard "multimeter" functionality, plus some nice little touches that make it a great buy. * Seniors will appreciate the 1 1/2" numerals on the LCD readout * Auto-Ranging makes measurement taking a breeze and Auto-Off prolongs battery life * It's easy for anyone to use the intuitive battery tester * The meter has a built-in stand and a wrist strap for true hands free operation * The audible tone Continuity Tester and the Diode checker ae handy additions Bottom line...I think you will find that this is the best meter you can buy for under $25

I am about the farthest thing from an 'electronics whiz' there has ever been... but from my neophyte perspective, this is an excellent tool. I've only used it to check low voltages (DC), continuity and to check an outlet or two to see if they're 'live'... but it's easy to read, ergonomical and seems to have ample functions should I ever need them. The case is sturdy and it appears to be very well made... but time will tell. Again... I'm more than a bit of a Luddite, but it works well for the capacity I use it in.

Handles all the functions I need for diagnosing issues with vehicle/trailer wiring. If you frequently switch between testing amps and testing voltage, I recommend buying an inline fuse and modifying your leads to put a fuse inline. I smoked my first multimeter by leaving it hooked up to the 10amp connection when trying to measure voltage. I immediately bought a second meter (and some inline fuses!).

OK, for those of you using one the Harbor Freight Mulitmeters, (or maybe you have several of them), it's time to assign them to the junk drawer, bite the bullet and spend a few bucks to get one that is automatic and accurate. Every time I use this, I can't help but thinking how much better this is. It's the best multimeter I have owned, and I have owned many over my 77 years, probably a dozen in total. You will really enjoy using this with its large readout screen, automatic ranging and probe storage. If you're looking for a good present or stocking stuffer, this would make a great present. Give one to a friend while you're at it.

I don't have a use for a meter very often but when i do i need it to work which my previous meter did not!I kept taking it out only to discover the battery had been left on by your's truly once again and it would cost me another 9 volt battery to get it working but that was the last straw i got on here and bought this one and for a great price,it shuts off automatically and not only that i had a hard time figuring the ranges, this meter automatically sets the range too and it also has several other design features that make it easy to use,i really like it,I gave the old one to a guy outside of Goodwill before i ever got in the door to give it away, well,it went to a good home,i told him about the battery but he didn't seem to care,so all is well that ends well i guess.recommended

This is my third DMM and my favorite so far. I wanted a fluke but couldn't justify the extra coin for my occasional hobby use. I am totally satisfied so far. Easy to read the display. Stable and consistent readings. Typical feature set. Was about 17 bucks at the time. My purchase was heavily influenced by a lengthy review here on Amazon which compared it to certain fluke meter and then gave a longer term update. My experience leads me to believe his review was valid. My next DMM however will be a fluke, just because of the reputation. I'm just waiting for the right used one to pop up.

I originally bought this and returned it, thinking I had a bad meter, but being used to using so many high-quality DMM's for so long, I didn't realize the faults were an assumption of my own; the AC source I was measuring was mislabeled as a analog sine wave, but instead it was a simulated stepped wave, low resolution at that. This meter assumes it is looking at a smooth sinusoidal shape on AC, best I can tell, and other wave forms seem to show different values, possibly in proximity to a root mean square of the signal. Just a guess, I never bothered to check the math. This had proven to be a good utility meter on the bench. Everything is within reasonable accuracy, and it does impedance more accurately than my big DMM, which is calibrated and certified, if you can believe that. It does just fine in all categories, and I do use it for some current draw measurements too, with success.
