Perfect replacement in my older irrigation valve

Perfect replacement in my older irrigation valve. Minutes to install and working great! Fixed 'leak through' problem where water continued to run after valve was off. Also replaced solenoid just to be sure. Saved me from the huge job of replacing the entire valve!

Research what diaphragm is compatible with your valve

I researched and looked at several diaphragms prior to purchasing. Comments on Amazon and youtube videos helped me decide on the 57045 Orbit Watermaster Diaphragm. But, I also replaced the solenoid in the valve so I don't really know which part (or both) were defective. Anyway, fixed the problem with the valve not shutting off.

It does what it is supposed to do

I first thought my problem was the selinoid, but it was not. I took the top of the WaterMaster off and there were roots growing in the little off-on switch. I thought that was the problem. It wasn't. Replace the Diaphragm with the 57045 repair diaphragm and it worked perfectly. When putting the unit back together, make sure the threads start in their original thread groves. The plastic can be stripped out.

Perfect fit

I couldn't find this style of valve diaphragm at the local big box hardware store. These fit the valves perfectly. Stopped the leaks and kept our irrigation system working with only a few minutes of work to install.

the valve is a lot cheaper than you buy the hole set. it is working very good.

Orbit Valve Diaphram

When my inground sprinkler valve broke,my sprinkler guy from "Nassua/Suffolk Irrigation"told me they no longer made the parts to repair them. He wanted to charge me over $500. to change the six zones over to another brand. I did a little research and found all I needed to make the repair myself. Found the parts and fired the Nassua/Suffolk Irrigation guy. The parts are perfect they shipped fast and I am happy with this purchase.

Works great

It was a great blessing to find these replacements. They worked great to get the valves working again. The other alternative was to to replace the valves which would have required rebuilding the manifold. These saved me money and time.
