I've had this case for a few months now, and it has held up great! have multiple pockets inside, and one of the dividers is removable (zipper), if desired. The outside of the case still looks good after being lugged onto planes, into cars, and into hospitals and hotels. It fits under the seat in airplanes. The handles are secure. I don't use the rolling function often. The handle is a little long for me (I'm 5'7"), but it works great. This routinely holds my laptop, 1 2" binder, a lab coat, dozens of pens/markers/highlighters, 2 post-it pads, 2 pipettes and sets of tips, a notebook, a water bottle, and my wallet. Whenever its time comes, I will definitely look at buying another case like this.

I received this bag today. Bag is the perfect size. I have a laptop, iPad, two school books and all the gadgets and pens that everyone carrys around. In fact, I could put my other work computer in here and if needed, it would be tight. I had a Wenger roller bag with the extra compt. for clothes, but it was just too big for daily use. I saw some people complain about the bag falling over, it will if you have all front pocket open which allows the weight to shift to the front. I placed all my stuff in the bag, zipped it up and it didn't tip over. The back of the bag has a compartment where the handle is to place more gadgets. When this compartment is zipped up it will also hide the handle. The only downfall I see is that you have to have this back compartment open to access the handle, but I don't think it is an issue. The pull out handle is shorter than my Wenger, but seems to be fine (I'm 5'9'"). The leather is nice, and appears to be good quality. This is the bag I should have bought three computer bags ago.

This is a beautiful leather briefcase, spacey and roomey for my laptop, some folders, a notebook and an iPad. It has a great handle and rolls smoothly on 2 wheels. I purchased it to replace my previous one which broke, and I just love it! It's practical, comfortable, handy, elegant and sturdy. You don't usually get all of these qualities in one product to carry and protect your laptop. I take it to the office and to outside meetings, and it handles very nicely. In love with my new Solo Walker 15.6 " Rolling Laptop briefcase, it's my favorite!! - DT, Puerto Rico

I LOVE this laptop rolling case. The dark espresso color is beautiful. It is made of soft and durable leather. It holds my laptop, cords, telephone charger, a book and notebook and zips close with ease. It is true that if you put too many items in the case, it has a tendency to tip forward. I love the fact that I can either carry the case by the handle or use the rolling feature, which saves my back. I got a great deal on this case in November 2016 and paid about $85.00 for it. I highly recommend the case and would not hesitate to purchase this item again for myself or as a gift for a friend. Buy it! You will love it!

Bought for wife as a gift for her office items. She loves it therefore I win. Well made and durable. Made her the envy of the cubicle gophers.

I have seen many complaints about this product. I had 2 of these bags over the last 7 years and my current one is wearing out. I ordered a replacement hoping for the best. I did notice that this current bag is almost twice what I paid for the last one but that was 4-5 years ago. Solo may have changed suppliers but this bag is as good as my last 2. Leather's great, zippers are fine and while there are slight differences (one less zipper compartment and no pouch) I am happy to report that they seem to have fixed the issues people were complaining about. I am very happy with the current bag. High quality and well made.

I bought this brief case after retiring the one that I had by the same company. There are few minor differences in this new one- all leather versus partial leather shoulder strap in the new one, and a slightly compact front pocket to reduce the risk of toppling. I had bought the other one 10 years ago and the purpose of this review is to give you a sense of what you can expect from this one over time. I used this rolling briefcase every day from home to office and it has served me very well. I never took serious care of it, except occasional wet cloth wipe. In sum, it was abused. I had no problems with it for the first 9 years. The hardware is of exceptionally good quality. The retractable handle, zippers, stitching, leather and the foot pegs are all in perfect functional shape to this date. There are only two weak points. First, strap and its attachment loop to the brief case. The loop rivet came out and the strap connecting hardware broke. Second, the leather of the hand carrying handle got warned out. They may have corrected these problems in the current models or they may still exist. By being around for this long time, this item has met the test to time- surviving the competitive brief case marketplace. I am looking for a different brief case this time because I have used this one for so long. I have not found one that is better than this one so far. I don't think that you can go wrong with this. Yes, as others pointed out, tipping can be a problem if you fill up the front pockets. I rarely did, so it was not that big of an issue for me, but it can be. I strongly recommend this product for those who like to carry things in their brief case and have a need for wheels to roll the brief case.

I am somewhat of a briefcase junkie and this one is amazing. It has the quality and look of a $#700+ bag. I literally had a senior person at Ghurka (he identified himself a such) come up to me in an airport and ask me how I liked my Ghurka. Now I saddle soap and mink oil my bags like crazy so it has a much deeper tan color than when it arrived but the point is a person in the industry mistook this bag for a $1500 Ghurka, it is that beautiful and functional. The wheels and handle are invisible essential and add so little weight you often can just carry it as a briefcase. Load it up and it rolls like my Hartman carry on.

I thought I would always cherish my LL bean roller bag, but when it finally broke this one exceeded my expectations. It has only been a short time of its being jammed full of papers/folders and dragged from parking garages over curbs, but I absolutely love this bag. I can actually fit more into this than my former bag AND it is lighter, and not quite as wide , which is a tremendous help in buildings that still have stairways I must navigate. The leather looks and feels as exceptional as the handling of the bag.

I've only had my bag for a few days so this will be a first impressions review and I'll try to remember to return after some use for follow-up thoughts. I have typically used a backpack style computer bag (North Face Surge, Swiss Gear, assorted others) and carried way too much stuff most of the time. This tended to hurt while traveling, lugging all that stuff through airports & hotels. I bought this bag to both make it easier to carry what I needed (company provided laptop, Dell E6530, and assorted notebook(s)) & essentials for traveling (E-Reader, power cords, passport, earbud headphones, and other similar small-ish items), and to impose a limit on the total amount of stuff that I could carry. - Laptop fits just about perfectly. As I mentioned above, it is a Dell E6530 which is a 15.6" laptop for which the bag is advertised. A larger laptop may fit but probably not while using the included padded laptop sleeve (which is removable). - My bag has a shoulder strap. After reading some of the other reviews, I wasn't expecting the strap but it is a welcome feature. For reference, I purchased the "Expresso" colored bag and the model number is D529-3. - The compartments are laid out pretty well. Rear compartment has two pockets with the telescoping handle between them. I use these for the laptop power brick and a cordless trackball. Rear-middle compartment is for the laptop and/or notebooks & files. I also tuck my e-reader in here. Front-middle compartment is the usual pen/card organizer pocket. A couple pen/pencil sleeves, card pockets, a couple small pockets for phones/ipods, and a zippered pocket. And finally, there is a decently sized compartment on the very front of the bag which I will use for passport, wallet, boarding passes, etc. The top handles are between the middle pockets and at the rear, so you can access the front-middle compartment while holding the bag by the top handles, if needed. - It is a bit heavy fully loaded, which is to be expected and why there are rollers on it. :-)
