Terrific Mixer!

This mixer is lightweight and solid. I like that the slowest speed is slow enough to keep the flour contained in the bowl. I had to donate another brand that this was not the case! I love this hand mixer. Black and Decker makes durable and quality products!

Handy Mixer

Easy to handle and this product is pretty powerful for a hand-held mixer. I only ever needed to use a Speed of 1, maybe 2 to mix cake batters or frosting. The 2 attachments eject easily.

Plenty of power - Lightweight and easy to use

Just made Christmas dinner and used it for mashed potatoes and sweet potato pies. Super comfortable weight and plenty of power for the delicate -- creaming sugar and butter -- to the challenging -- mashed potatoes with skins. Very happy with purchase at a great price!

Value priced hand mixer

Some things just don't mix well with a high priced stand mixer, especially cake icing and other mixture that use cream cheese or butter. The small wire blades are durable and very easy to clean, especially compared to traditional mixer blades that are flat wired, where it;s hard to clean them fully. Very durable and powerful mixer. I'll probably buy another one soon because of all the baking I do at home.

The Best Lightweight Mixer-It's Realy Great

This is the Best hand mixer I have ever had. Even thought it is lightweight, it does a great job at all its speeds. The mixing blades are easy to remove and clean. The mixer stands on the counter with ease and does not fall over. I have arthritis in my hands, so lifting, holding, and working a mixer is difficult for me - this hand mixer has made it easy for me to continue making cookies, cakes, etc. and my hands do not hurt or tire. I give this mixer and 2 thumbs up.

Small but mighty

Quite pleased with this product, especially at this price point! I've only used it once but it's perfect for my needs, which is mixing ingredients to make body butter. I would imagine that many might require a more robust mixer for traditional and frequent baking/cooking needs, but this is perfect for me.

Love it

The lightweight really makes a difference. I usually only use my stand-mixer and I remember hating hand-mixers because my arms would get so tired, but sometimes you need an extra mixer. This mixer is so light that my arms never get sore and the power-fullness surprised me, given its weight.

Almost Like the Old Mixers . . .

I replaced a 20-year-old hand mixer about 2 years ago, but the replacement was very heavy. It was also very powerful, which defeated the purpose of having a less powerful hand mixer. I decided to 'downgrade' to the BLACK+DECKER Lightweight Hand Mixer and am very happy. It's lightweight, and at high speeds, powerful enough, at low speeds, doesn't send ingredients flying about the room, lol. If you're looking for a lightweight, practical hand mixer, this is a good, economical choice!
