I get teased about my "addiction" to Wintergreen Altoids. If you love wintergreen flavor, and want a nice, strong, refreshing mint, these are great. I used to like the Lifesavers brand, until I had these, and now those "Wint-O-Green" just taste overly sweet and otherwise bland...and for breath freshening? No. These Altoids are where it's at when you need a breath mint. I love the metal tin, not only for convenient carrying in my bag, but you can use them afterwards for holding various little things, if you so choose. If you eat enough to want a constant stock at hand, like me, then these are a nice value because they are cheaper when bought in bulk like this. I've never received expired or stale ones either, and I get these quite often. I'm not a fake profile, nor have I been compensated for any reviews...in fact, the reason I take the time to review purchases when I can is due to the fact that I find other honest reviews helpful and am tired of all the fake reviews that have polluted this site. If you find my review helpful, please take the time to rate it as such, not because I'll get anything out of it but so that others can see true reviews. Thanks and Happy Shopping!

I was always buying these separate and saw that if I bought them in bulk I could almost save half of what I was spending. I will saw that I enjoy the spearmint a little more but the wintergreen mints are great as well!

Best price around. These are excellent breath mints, easy to pack around in their little boxes, they don't open easily and spill and the boxes can be used for many different uses after they are empty.

I honestly thought I’d ordered the tiny “smalls.” These are the larger ones. My taste buds enjoy these breath mints. I take medication that leaves a yucky taste in my mouth. I pop an altoid and that taste is gone in seconds.

I like the item. I find them inexpensive. When they are all used up, a useful tin remains for odds and ends. I use them for char-cloth (fire starters).

Wintergreen is my favorite flavor and I had trouble finding it in retail outlets and could not find it anywhere in more cost-effective 6 or 12 packs. I found it here and it is way cheaper than buying one at a time when I could find it at a retail outlet. I am not a flavor connoisseur so I can't comment on whether the flavor has changed from years past. I do notice with this flavor that the candy pieces are bit more crumbly and that the tiny flakes and powder that break off the pieces are rather sticky. I think the flavoring ingredient may be oil-based which leads to this stickiness. It's not a problem, just an observation. The "best by" date on the tin is 18 months out so I think the product is pretty fresh. I'm a happy Wintergreen Altoids advocate.

What's not to love about Wintergreen Altoids. I just wish the price was more moderate. They are wonderful.

First, I should admit that I'm a wintergreen Altoids addict. I can easily pop a handfull in my mouth and chomp away until they're gone. That said, it's understandable that I might want to buy Altoids in bulk. The product is great and the price is better than I can find at my local grocery, even when they're on sale. My son saw the package and said I need an Altoids intervention. I'm trying to cut back but they're so deliciously refeshing I can't stop. Love this product and the price.

LOVE LOVE LOVE ALTOIDS! The Wintergreen and Spearmint are my favorite flavors. I found the peppermint to be too much of a whang to my taste buds. Sam's Club near my home used to carry the wintergreen but now only have the small peppermint ones. But with Amazon, I can now easily find the ones I want, and at a nice price too. Love keeping these in my bag and pop one before meeting with clients. Never have to worry if something I just ate is hurting others when I have these!

I'm addicted to wintergreen Altoids and have been ever since I got pregnant with my first child. The taste is all about the expiration data and if they were living next to some other candy. I've gotten very consistent excellent mints via Amazon and I'm beyond THRILLED that I can now get them amazon prime. The expiration date MUST be a least 14 months into the future. Now its June 2013 and my mints say Sept 2014 so I know it's a good batch. Also, if you get them at a store, make sure they weren't sitting next to some fruity gum or else they will tastes terrible.
