A really good kit for your money
The wires and fuse holders are legit. I don't have spare 8 ga. wire on hand to compare it to, but I've done more than a couple amp installs. At no point during the install did I say "Hmmm... this isn't 8ga wire!" cause if it isn't it's ridiculously close to it. And they give you plenty of said wire. And a good quality fuse and holder. Also included are speaker wire, RCA signal wire, and remote power on wire. I thought the remote was very thin, but I can understand why you would cut a corner there. It's not like it is coming under load, or doing anything strenuous. And the kit comes with chafing gear(plastic tube / case that slip around a wire to keep it from wearing out) for the power (or ground I suppose). The only thing I could look for complaints on are that the connectors (o rings, and butt connectors) are a little lame. But you should be having plenty of these on hand anyways. Or solder and heat shrink. Honestly, for your money you won't find a better kit. I will definitely buy this again. Honestly though guys if you want the best kit with double shielded wire, and speaker wire that is double insulated and 12 ga. then get that. Cause you probably won't be happy if you settle for anything less. And this is not that. But if you want to wire your amp and speakers with a good kit and get the best bang for your buck, this is for you. And I've been down both roads, their is not a big difference. Please save your money and get better equipment.

NOT 4 gauge wire but I knew that!
You get what you pay for and I knew that going into this deal. The wire is defiantly NOT a 4 gauge wire, at least not in this country. But that is why I bought the 4 gauge wire because I needed an 8 gauge wire so after reading all the reviews I knew that the wire was small so that is why I bought the 4 gauge. It is still a little small even for an 8 gauge wire but it will work perfectly for what I need.

Worked great for a 1999 Dodge Ram and a Kicker 100watt self powered sub.
This kit did the trick for my son's 1999 Dodge Ram. We put in a 100watt self powered sub. (Kicker) It is 10 guage so that is good enough for 100watts. Make sure you but a thick enough wire for your setup. (This wouldn't work for a 400watt sub for example) The wire was easy to strip and was long enough to run to the backseat of the truck cab. In some cases you have to change the fuse to match your setup. (google is the best bet to determine this)

Everything I needed for powered sub install
This was everything you'll need, save for the tools, to install a powered sub or amp. My install was on a pontoon boat and went well - has cable for either line level input (RCA cable) or tapping in to existing speakers. I wish the ground cable had been a bit longer but to be fair this is the max length recommended.

Great product, would purchase again.
Came with everything needed to install my 2 "12 inch Kenwood subs and Alpine Amp. I ran the wires from my battery and deck all the way back to the trunk of my 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX. All of which were tucked under the plastic framing of the car and ran under the rear seats. Not a huge fan of the purple RCA's but I don't see them so it doesn't matter haha

Perfect kit for armature sound enthusiast like myself.
easy to install. Plenty of Red wire but the black 8 gauge fell a little short. I did however manage to find a decent ground inside the cabin of the truck I installed my powered subwoofer. Not my ideal place I'd like to have the ground attached to but it seems to do the trick without any heating issues to the wire or the amp. Inline fuse is very nice. Gives you 50 amps of leeway. My amp demands 25amps. So that gives me plenty of space for current to run though. This kit came with everything I ever need. Tie downs. Connectors, the fuse. Speaker wire. Remote amp wire to the stereo. Its a one stop kit to get your feet off the ground.

Great value amp kit
Always use these kits for all my installs. Build quality is good and has everything you need. Only good if you're only running vocals or a small sub, wire looks thick but its mostly shielding, which is great if you're speaker wires are close. Would recommend

for the price. its exactly what you need
unless your going for competition buy this kit. it has everything you need for a novice at-home install... took me about 30 minutes to install it yesterday in my subaru forester. the wire appears to be of a decent quality, the rca plugs are fairly well made. ive seen and worked with some cheap kits in my day and this one is the best bang for the buck by far. one thing to consider with all kits this cheap is the fuse itself will sometimes go out not necessarily pop but begin to lose conductivity over time. if you begin to run into power issues with your amp i would check this fuse for proper conductivity before anything else. another thing to consider is the ground wire in this kit is only about 3 feet long. for many that may not be enough wire, so either chop a section out of the red (power) wire and use that or consider ordering longer ground wire.

All you need to install an amp and a subwoofer and than some
Plenty of wires to use, except the ground. Ground was too short for me, I cut amp wire in half and used the other half as a ground.

Solid Kit for Amp Hookup
This kit came exactly as I expected after reading other reviews. I needed 8 Ga so I bought this 4 Ga and it worked well with my amp setup. It included everything I needed to install in my 07 Tacoma. My only complaint is I wish there were more boots to cover the crimped connections. Also it isn't ideal to have to purchase a 4 Ga to get an 8 Ga. This doesn't apply to me cause the amp was under the drivers seat but if your amp is in the rear of a large SUV these cables might not be long enough.
