Best non boutique tire shine for the black licorice look.
If you are looking for tires that look like they are coated in glass, skip this. If you are looking for a durable water based tire shine at an amazing price, this is it. The best you can expect of of this is a nice black licorice look. Not a glazed black donut. This means your tires will have a bit of shine, but it won't be over the top. The key to applying this stuff is clean tires (Mother's tire cleaner is awesome), dry tires (leaf blower) and using a very thin coat. You only want to get enough on the tire to notice there was some product applied. The shine comes as this stuff dries. If you over apply, you will get sling and a gummy sticky mess.

This stuff really surprised me. I have 22x12 chrome rims and always had a problem with brake dust im guessing bc of how heavy they are and how much they’ll eat away even the best rotors and pads together. I sprayed this stuff on my rims after washing my truck one day on all four rims. the backs do not have brake dust but I figured well maybe if it rains it’ll stop the water marks also? And it did! I have been driving my truck for already a week and no sign of brake dust much less water spots after rain. Unfortunately I’ll never really see if it’ll last a full month like the can guarantees but that’s bc I wash my vehicle every week. So I went from one day of driving with a tint of brake dust to a full week (ruffly 350 miles) with no sign of brake dust! I will be buying this product for the rest of my life and will definitely recommend this great product. If you ever have had pitted chrome rims from brake dust I promise you this will prevent it from happening again! Very impressed. Thank you!

Great for tires and outside plastic trim
I detail my car as a hobby and its something I truly love. I am sure if you are reading this review then you are just like me. I have used just about every tire shine out there, and this is by far the best and lasts a long time. I have also done a good amount of research to make sure this doesn't damage my cars trim or tires. I use this on my tires, and I apply a small amount to the plastic trim on the OUTSIDE of my car and it makes it look brand new/ protect it from sun damage/fading. My advice when applying to the outside plastic trim is to apply it lightly, then go back and gently wipe it off with a rag or paper towel. If you leave it on heavy it can collect dirt and grime, which isn't good. Also use a separate applicator for your tires and your outside plastic trim to ensure your not getting tire gunk on your trim.

MAYBE THE BEST PRODUCT ARMOR ALL MAKES...
This stuff gets overlooked. Even bu me - I used it once long ago in the past when it came out and didn't like it because I thought it was messy and went on unevenly to tires that had sidewall designs to them. But one day I was out of my regular silicone spray product for tires and this is all I had left in the cabinet. So I put it on. That was in the early evening. It smudged and was uneven as in the past - You coat the tire with a sponge or brush - there was some white liquid goo left on the tire in spots. Well, that was late in the evening and I thought I'll come out in the AM and try to fix it. Well, the next morning the white goo was gone and the product had spread evenly on the tire, and was EXTREMELY shiny. More so than anything I had ever tried!! It looked absolutely perfect and lasted for weeks, Sure, the next time you wash the tire, without a recoat, it's not as shiny as before, but it's pretty darn close and the tire is still clean and black. This is all I use now. Would recommend it highly!!

Actually works 😳
With the rims freshly cleaned and dried (in my case with a blower) apply and allow to dry one hour. It actually works extremely well in my case. (Stock Y spoke silver gloss finish Audi S5) This is supposed to last up to a month; I’ll update this review after another two weeks but here’s what I know: by now, given my driving style and one rain shower these rims would be trashed by heavy brake dust deposits and require a full cleaning by now. Instead they look good from 6 feet. I’m impressed and I was very skeptical.

A must have
I love this stuff. High performance brakes can lead to incredible amounts of brake dust. Without this repellent in a few days my wheels are covered in black dust. I’ve been using it for several months now and will never go without it again. I’d read reviews of how some say it builds up and you have to scrub it off. I’ve not found this to be the case. I apply it semi liberally on clean wheels and let it dry. It will last a solid three weeks before needing to repeat the process. I’ve yet to notice a build up of product. The dust can’t stick to it. What little bit does can be rinsed of with a hose or wiped off. I’ve included a pic after two weeks of driving with product applied. This stuff is amazing and a life saver.

Wheel dust protector
This stuff really works. I have black wheels but the dust still sticks and makes them look dull. On a Corvette, that’s not allowed. I decided to try this and it works. I made a 50 miles drive and looked at my wheels, they still looked good. This stuff makes your wheel finish like teflon so the dust just doesn’t stick. It continues to work for about 3 days then you start to see some dust spots. But for car drives with my club, this does the trick.

Easy to use, very noticeable
Great product and unlike some others,it's very obvious you have tire shine on your car. Very easy to apply and lasts at least a week with frequent driving. I don't drive a ton, so I typically get more longevity than a week. It also doesn't really rinse off when your car is parked and it rains. I'm able to re-wash my car and not reapply the product after it rains. If you drive in the rain, it will fade for sure. Finally, it doesn't splatter all over your car when you drive for the first time after applying it.

Long lasting!
Unlike other tire shines, this one actually lasts! The applicator has a channel for the product to go in for applying and you just have to be careful not to overfill or you will spill it. The applicator is made of foam sponge material so when applying vigorously it can fall apart. I’d say just be careful when applying. You may need to use a brush to get into well defined tight contours that some tires may have. After applying this stuff lasted a while in my case. Even when not shiny anymore it still didn’t look dry like before. As far as shipping, the first one I ordered came with a cracked lid and some spilled in the plastic inner bag it came in. I notified amazon and they shipped a replacement. The second one came with no damage. Overall love the product due to life longevity.

Works Well, No Residue
Keeping wheels completely free of brake dust is only possible if you don't use your brakes so this is a safer alternative. It works well and is easy to apply but you do want to make sure the wheels are clean and completely dry before applying. I was pleased to see this doesn't leave a white residue so it works well on painted wheels as well. From what I can tell, you only get about 2-3 applications out of a can.
