• Cleans and lubricates the fuel system. Neutralizes low sulfur fuel problems
  • Increases power and miles per gallon by burning excess exhaust emissions
  • Made in USA
  • Increases the life of pumps and injectors

When I was messing with an oil catch can setup I had to remove the intake manifold. This allowed me to see the intake port and valves. Before using this product I had some deposit sludge on the ports, valves and above the injectors. After using this for a few months everything was perfectly clean with a thin shiny oil coating. Not only does it clean but it lubricates. My fuel economy of around 30mpg did not improve however but my fuel pump was noticeably quieter and injector tick was drastically lowered. Car starts fast and smooth with a clean quiet idle. It's simple to use as well, just add 3oz to every 10 gallons everyone you refill your tank. With today's ethanol laced fuels which are corrosive and hydroscopic(absorbs water) having an additive that lubricates and cleans is essential. My only gripe is I wish this product would also stabilize ethanol. I have to add a few ounces of stabil to the mix if my car is going to sit unused for over a week.

Use this with every fill up. Absolutely increases gas mileage by 10 to 15 percent depending upon your driving habits. Purchasing by the gallon basically pays for itself within 4 fillups. I get about 20-22 fillups from a gallon. I basically buy a gallon and refill the small 5 oz. Bottles and throw one in every time I fill my tank.

Lucas fuel treatment definitely works. My 2004 Toyota Tundra has 150,000 miles on it and runs like a new car. It burns zero oil between oil changes, the dipstick is at the full mark right before the oil change. I use it at a dilution of 1 ounce of Lucas per 5 gallons of fuel, and buy it in this large gallon size which treats 640 gallons of gas. I know it says treats 400 gallons but when you look at the little 5 ounce bottle that on treats 25 gallons and it is the same product. So 128 ounces treats 640 gallons. At 25 a gallon bottle, that work out to 4 cents a gallon for Lucas Fuel Treatment. I use it at this dosage at every fill up. I am not seeing a huge MPG increase but it is more than 1+ MPG in a big V8 so I get say 13 MPG instead of 12 in winter, and maybe 14.5 MPG summer. That right there is saving me 8% on fuel cost though. But more important than saving money on fuel you are saving money by reducing wear on expensive items like fuel pumps, injectors and worn piston rings by never letting them get dirty in the first place. Specifically my engine runs much smoother and quieter especially on startup during the winter. It responds better to the accelerator. I never get a 'bad' tank of gas. There is no valve ticking noise at all. The smoothess is not just quietness, it is less vibration too. This product is a very thick, viscous oily substance, but it dissolves well in gasoline. It has a high flash point of 450°F, that is in the temperature range of motor oil. Compare this to gasoline that is -45°F, and diesel fuel is 126°F. I buy a pack 3 of the 8 ounce plastic squeeze bottles that have a tip and a a plastic cap on them you buy 3 for two dollars a set, at Harbor Freight tools. They are good for squeezing out a measured amount. Actually I have a 3 stage approach I bought a 32 ounce bottle of Lucas Fuel treatment and I refill it using a funnel and this one-gallon refill, then I use that to refill the small squeeze bottles. Buy the way unlike most fuel treatments the Lucas is compatible with diesel engines too and I use it in a 3 cylinder Kubota diesel tractor I bought new 16 years ago. It quiets the Kubota too though their diesel engine will probably outlast me. It is extending the life of the fuel pump on all vehicles. I have 3 Toyotas, a little Hyundai and a Kubota farm tractor. I swear by Lucas Fuel Treatment for maintaining a clean engine and for smooth operation. If I want to put in 3 ounces of Lucas I fill the little squeeze bottle with 4 ounces worth because it flows so slowly and not convenient to squeeze every last drop out.

Product is designed to clean fuel injectors on your car or truck. The product cleans perfectly, and has an added benefit, the Lucas Fuel Treatment lubricates the upper end of your car or trucks' engine. When Gasoline had lead in it, the lead cleaned and lubricated your car or truck engine's upper rings, valves, and the injectors. Using alcohol in the fuel mix these day, your engine's upper end is not being sufficiently lubricated. Ask any mechanic and they will tell you that the lack of upper engine lubrication by the alcohol fuels is causing premature engine failure. I have use the product 10 years and my auto's engines are still perfect and burn no oil. Note, I am not an employee of Lucas, just a long time user who uses the product with every tank fill.

I have a 1988 Toyota Pickup w/230,000 miles, and it recently decided it was not going to start. I believe it was either trash in the carburetor or water in the fuel from a previous fill up. FYI, I rarely let the tank get below 1/4 full, so there should have been no issue as it was over 1/4 when this happened. After several minutes of cranking and getting an extremely rough cough and spit from the engine over multiple attempts, I managed to get it started. The running was extremely rough even after it started and for the 18 mi. trip to my preferred auto parts dealer. I looked at the Lucas Gas treatment available there and thought nothing about it considering the size was only 5.25oz. or 155ml. When the sale was made, I was told I could get two for just over $10.00; I said, "how much is one, in a shocked tone". and he stated it would be $5.79 w/tax included. I figured I better try only one as I had never tried it before and relying on marketing hype could not convince me to buy more than one. So to make a long story short, I put it in the tank and went to fill up with fresh gas less than a mile away and still sputtering all the way getting there. Miraculously, within 2 miles of filling up and after applying the small bottle of treatment just prior to the fillup, the misfiring and rough running stopped and the truck began to run like it should. It had more response to the gas pedal on acceleration and I drove it another 15 miles to my next destination without further coughing, spitting, acceleration delays, etc.. Later that evening it started right up for the trip home. Now I cannot testify for sure that the treatment solved the issue, but it sure made it run much better afterward, so I bought a few gallons here on Amazon after doing price comparisons and not wanting to run around town checking everyone else's price levels. If you do the math, however, you will note that the price difference in buying a gallon, (128oz.) or (3.765L) -vs- 5.25oz. or 155ml., you would see that I get approximately 24 treatments out of a gallon which equates to over $120.00+ in the same amount if I buy the smaller bottles. Now subtract the current price of this gallon ($120.00/ml size -minus- $25.00/gal) (rounded off for simplicity) you would see that to buy it in the gallon size is the smarter choice. I see many here have done so, so I am not in this alone seeing the cost savings and benefits. Even with the taxes paid, it more than justifies buying the larger quantity. The smaller bottles are definitely not "Cheaper by the dozen". The reviews here helped me decide and perhaps mine will convince someone else also. As of now, Lucas has won me over. Let's hope it isn't just a coincidence that everything ran smoothly after it was used. I will give the product the benefit of any doubt unless proven otherwise. I already know what my miles-per-gallon is, as I've been tracking it for years. Perhaps it will help with that also, but only time will tell.

Noticeable gain in MPGs during long road trips. Doesn’t take more than a couple of ounces to extend the life of a full gas tank. Just don’t pour too much as not to choke the engine’s combustion process. I prefer to pour from the gallon bottle into a smaller Lucas bottle to keep the quantity constant.

This stuff definitely makes a difference. I used it in all my families cars and you can feel a difference in the engines performance right away. In all the cars(2008 Sentra 2.0 CVT, 1987 BMW 325 2.7L Manual, 2013 Sentra SV CVT), the engine ran smoother, started easier, noticed less engine drag, quicker rev's, more MPG, and increased acceleration, especially under WOT. In the 2008 Sentra I noticed a 4mpg gain while using this, I always use 89plus Shell gas in it, much better highway overtaking ability, and decrease rpm's for the same speed. The CVT doesn't not climb as high in the RPM's when accelerating. After letting off the gas the car coasts much more freely and doesn't experience as much engine drag. This all was the same 2013 Sentr SV and in the BMW e30 325. I noticed the BMW performs much better and makes driving over more enjoyable. Faster acceleration, smoother running, easier shifting by way of less engine drag, less shifting from more power in each gear, and better MPG. It's great. I'm in NY so I'm not in super cold or hot climate. I recommend this stuff to everyone, it actually does pay for itself in the MPG alone, but also in making driving better overall.

Smothed out my engine idle, increased my mileage by about 10%, and my exhaust doesn't smell funky anymore. Now I use this in all my cars. I started out with the small bottle at Walmart for about three and a half dollars... liked it so much I bought a gallon from Amazon. Definitely recommend this stuff.

Likes - This stuff works! It gives me more horsepower, quicker response when I push the accelerator (I feel like it does, maybe that's just the extra power. It's slight, but definitely noticeable. I had my father in law try it on a long drive to another state and he agreed it gave him more power going up the hills at 75-80 mph in his minivan. He said it definitely made a difference. My wife also notices the extra power when we put it in, and she rarely notices anything I've changed on the car. - It seems like my engine idles more smoothly and my car just runs better. It also gives me peace of mind that I'm helping the engine stay clean and it good operating condition. I expect to have less engine problems and save money on repairs, and the whole time have more power and a better operating vehicle. So, to me it's worth the money! Dislikes - DO NOT spill this in your car. It is extremely difficult to get off the carpet. I spilled it one time in the trunk of my car and had to replace the whole trunk mat. It would get on my fingers months after the spill if I just rubbed my fingers on the carpet where it had spilled. It's like oil or lubricant, so it's not going to clean up well. That's the downside to it. You have to be really careful with where you put it. The way I do it is, I bought a couple of the small bottles that work for one gallon of gas. Then I use a funnel to fill them up with the big jug every 2-3 weeks when I need more, but I have to wipe the bottle tops with a cloth and the caps really good afterwards to make sure nothing is left on the bottles. Then I keep them in the trunk of the car in a box. Then after using it, I have to wipe it off again really good so nothing is left on the bottle. So, by doing that each time, I haven't had any issues. Overall, it's a great product and works really well. Definitely worth the money I think.

I should have known about this product sooner. I use 5-oz every time I fill up the 20-gallon tank for my honda pilot se. Engine responds to the gas pedal a lot better and smooth running.
