I typically do NOT write reviews but I made this product the exception. As an experienced lifter, I can tell you that this does work. My current stats are 5'8" 240 under 15%bf MESOMORPH (Currently bulking so no accurate BF - but veins, striations are vis)..... I used Cytogainer back in the day and it helped me gain a good 20+ pounds.... Please note that I was also consuming high calorie dense foods and stopped cardio and only lifted 4 days a week -> Lifting 4+ days a week might hinder gains due to your body using up the calories stored for energy instead of growth. I mentioned MESOMORPH earlier because its important to know your body composition. If you are an ECTOMORPH, cardio is out of the question, try and lift 3 days a week and increase your food intake. For an endomorph, lift 4 days a week tops and watch fats. NOTE: gaining weight can be dangerous as your body will not be use to the extra work it needs to function properly..... If you feel winded, high BP etc, Initiate cardio.... When should you take Gainer??????? I personally use to take the gainer PRE WORKOUT....... NOT... I repeat NOT post workout. Post workout you need fast release protein and carbs...... I would also sometimes throw in gainer for lunch.... I will only recommend this product to consumers if they use the gainer along side a high caloric diet, a heavy lifting program AND NOT FOR A POST WORKOUT SHAKE...... If you do not have the money to purchase food for your high caloric diet, don't bother with this and just use a protein powder with more carbs throughout the day.

This stuff tastes better than a lot of the powders out there, and has a great protein-to-carb ratio. I use it post-workout, and it fills me up enough to feel re-energized after a solid gym session, while still being neutral enough to leave me hungry for a meal about 3 hours later (which is what I want).

I’ve been using this weight gainer for about a year, inconsistently at first(I’d go through about a tub in about 2.5-3 month, to about a tub every 1-1.5 months). I refrained from reviewing it until I was sure I was satisfied with it. As an extremely scrawny 20 year old kid, 5’5 100 pounds when I started, I was severely underweight from the recommended 122-150 pounds I should be weighing. I ate big meals but was never able to gain any serious weight, I drank it daily, even if I didn’t work out. What resulted was a funny looking gut on a skinny guy. Therefore I stopped taking it, inexperience made me believe it was the product, so I changed to a different type(disgusting taste but I made myself take it), obviously, the results were the same. Clearly it only works well when you give your body a good workout, so I stopped taking it religiously, and only doing it when I worked out. That cut out the gut, but since I didn’t really workout much, the difference was miniscule, 105-110 was about what I seemed to fluctuate around. Recently, for about 2-3 months now, I began to take more importance on my weight and appearance, I have been working out heavy consistently, eating plenty of food consistently, and using this product consistently as well. I very easily packed on 20 pounds in these short few months. Im at a much more healthy 130 now, feel and look much better. I’ve been lifting much more seriously now and still look skinnier than most people my height that weight 130, but I have packed on lots of muscle, so I’m planning on continuing til I’m at about 150-160 pounds where I should be looking much more healthy and much more muscular. That being said, I plan on sticking to this product. The taste is great, never had a problem finishing a serving. I strongly recommend using this product if you are serious about gaining weight and aren’t afraid to work for it.

Mixes well, tastes great, and has a good amount of calories which is just what I was looking for with this product. I gained several pounds in just a couple of weeks with this protein powder because it is easy to supplement with my diet and I never hesitated to drink it because it tasted so good. I definitely recommend the vanilla flavor and I think it is a good product for this starting out with lifting ad for those trying to put on those pounds that are hard to gain in the start of their body transformation

This was by far the greatest mass gainer I have had. My issue was gaining weight and this brought exactly that. this is great for skinny gym enthusiasts who are looking to gain some size quick. It has good amount of calories, not too crazy high or extremely low Tastes much better than most if not all protein/calorie supplements Has 3g of creative and 2g of glutamine for a bonus! 76 grams of carbs you'll see immediate improvements. now of course you have to also be working out hard and consistent to get the best results. Drinking this alone will only give you a belly and gain "fat" unwanted weight.

I have used cyto gainer off and on for around 4 years now and always forget how good it tastes when i go back to it. I have always struggled to gain weight and then maintain it. I feel cyto gainer is one of the products that actually helps me achieve my goal. I do not use the product as a meal replacement as much as i use it just to bump up my caloric intake each meal. I usually do two scoops with my breakfast and then two scoops a little after dinner. It is hard to say that this product is solely responsible for my gains but it definitely is not hurting me by taking it.

My husband uses this every day. He's always looking for more calories and he likes the taste. We put it in his oatmeal and in smoothies.

I love this protein shake mix! I have it almost every morning. I'm a runner who is training for my second marathon. I can't seem to keep weight on during training season and this really helps me stay full until lunch. I do 2 scoops with 16 oz of whole milk, and a frozen banana. Its a delicious consistency and taste. I blend it up in my Ninja, not sure how it would taste if you just shake it.

I bought this for my son, who is trying to build some mass, and he really likes it. It was recommended by his club soccer coach who had used this product when he played professional soccer in the MLS. He uses two scoops with water or milk and adds a scoop of peanut butter to it.
