Great value and learning tool!

I ordered this for my two-year-old grandson. He loves this puzzle along with the others I order for him. He spends a lot of time removing the numbers and putting them back in place he's counting when a number is missing he will come and ask for the number he open the package on Friday and it was just like Christmas. I like these pieces because the wooden the edges are sanded and sealed so it's safe no splinters or anything! I think this was a great purchase for the money. I have been looking for similar pieces like this at Target and couldn't find anything I love it thank you

Great quality

This is a wonderful puzzle. Every Melissa and Doug product is so well made and lasts a very long time. Something to know about this puzzle is that under the puzzle pieces there isn't the same picture, as many wooden puzzles have. For example- under the 2 there are two small circles, not another number 2. This can make this slightly hard for toddlers who are using their matching skills to complete the puzzle. However, this can be a good puzzle for learning and thinking skills for children with more advanced skills and thinking. My son wasn't able to complete it when we first received the puzzle. Not finding the match was confusing for him. But, now that he's 2 he is better equipped with the skills to complete it with ease.

HUGE FAN!

I'm not sure if it's the way Melissa and Doug's puzzles are designed, or if it's that my toddler is a quick learner and enjoys puzzles. However, he knows his numbers and alphabet before the age of 2. My house is filled with their puzzles.

Colorful, durable AND educational!

I bought this for my great nephew - 18 months old who is already learning to count and learn his colors. I also got him a dino puzzle by Melissa & Doug. Both items are really great. They are very durable and colorful so he likes playing with them and putting the shapes back in their places. The number puzzle is fun because when you take the number out, there are pictures under each number for example - take out the three - there are three turtles (I may have the wrong animal but you get the gist!!). His 3 year old cousin that visits often also loves playing with them so they have a good age range.

My toddler loves this puzzle!

I got this puzzle as a Christmas gift for my almost two year old daughter. She loves solving this puzzle over and over and it as helped her identify her numbers as she is getting familiar with learning how to count. So far it has withstood her throwing the pieces around and is still in good shape. She loves asking the whole family to help her do her puzzle! My only complaint is the zero fits very snugly and sometimes is too tough to remove. Other than that, really great product!

Great for 2 year-olds!

My 2 year-old grandson is obsessed with counting and numbers and he loves putting this puzzle together and saying his numbers. Melissa and Doug puzzles are always the best!

This is it!

We love Melissa and Doug, and this numbers set is perfect. The numbers shape is the shape of each individual number, not just a generic similar rectangle cut out, which does make a big difference for our son learning. Easy for a 16 month old to pick up and a beautiful, nice quality set.
