Brush works well with watercolors and can even be used for detail. I found I didn't need my tiny brush.

There is an artist who does a lot of YouTube watercolor tutorials that uses this type of brush. The other day while watching I decided that I might try one myself. Well, this is the coolest brush ever! Every watercolor artist uses different brushes that give them the results they want and I have a feeling that the more I use this brush, the more I will enjoy it. It is extremely versatile from using it like a round and then a rigger all in the matter of seconds. Some people said this particular brush was too soft, but I love the softness of it and it holds plenty of water. For the price, this is a great brush, but then again, I love all the Princeton brushes!

I adore this little guy so much. The bristles glide across the paper with ease and perfection. It retains a nice flow of water, the bristles retain their shape rather well, and it has easily become my favorite brush to work as it's incredibly versatile.

Very nice brush, good quality. Holds a lot of water, I have been watercolor painting for about a year and a half so am still learning, but I really enjoy the Princeton brushes.

Nothing better then a dagger brush when painting. Wish I had found this brush a while back. It is a good quality brush. No hairs falling out. Very soft and smooth.

Excellent quality brushes for my needs

This brush is quite versatile , and great for detail work .

I purchased this synthetic brush and a sable one too. Have to say I am now a "dagger" fan. They (depending on the size) are great for slender strokes, for detail and even for minor blending strokes. I almost like the synthetic one better than the sable because it's a bit stiffer. I plan on buying a set of bristle daggers, but I will definitely be using this one. Great brush, good value and Princeton is always a quality product.

With this brush you can paint like using a flat, chiseled edge or a pointed brush. Does feel like a bristle brush.
