My horse LOVES it!

Perfect for putting weight on hard keepers. I have a 3yo OTTB that is still growing and this is my go to! Fat without carbohydrates or sugar, which lessens the risk for laminitis (foundering) and metabolic syndrome, and colic. Also, less messier than rice bran oil, or any other oil... Update: I've been using it for almost a year now with great results. Yet, I can get it for $20 at my local feed store, which makes these crazy prices Amazon's been doing totally pointless. If it goes back to $19, I might purchase from Amazon again, but don't be fooled, look up Tractor Supply or Rural King.

This stuff works!

I have a senior mare and this past winter was the first time she struggled to hold weight. My neighbor has a very old, very healthy senior horse, so after trying a couple other things without results, I asked her what she used. This was her recommendation. I am impressed with how little it took and how quickly it put weight on her. She really liked the taste too.

Excellent for weight gain and maintenance of hard keepers

I have had the hardest time trying to keep weight/put weight back on my 17.1, 24 y/0 TB... This is the ONLY supplement that has helped thus far. I actually have to give more than the recommended amount ( been doing it for a while) but he looks 100X better.

We are feeding Cool Calories to our 33 year old Morgan mare and it has made a big difference in her condition. Even though she is receiving a senior feed she was losing weight. She's up to a good weight now and maintaining. She eats this readily (it smells like a cake mix). Sometimes our local feed store didn't have it in stock. I love that I can purchase it on-line so we never run out. This is a product I highly recommend if your horse needs some more weight.

Our gelding is getting old

We have used this product in the past on an old gelding that lived to be 35. Around 30 we were having trouble keeping weight on him. We had him vet checked and tried everything that we could think of to no avail. Someone that my husband spoke to at the feed store recommended Cool Calories 100 to him, so he bought it and worked great. His horse now is doing the same thing (though he is not as old, so we again are trying everything to see what works. So far he has added some weight with this too.
