Love love Love these!
Well made and an excellent price. Have seen similar or exact for double the cost. Great value....the large 36” are limited only three per customer. I needed more so I added the smaller version too. And was gifted an additional 3 to complete the look! I did have to use zip ties since the upper balcony is a smaller rod iron Than the least/smallest size the sliding hangers can go.

Beautiful!
My wonderful son and his wife got me a gift certificate for Amazon. I didn't want to spend it on "just anything"...something I really wanted but didn't want to spend household money on...I purchased 5! Two of the short ones (I think 24") and 3 longer ones (36"). My biggest problem was I purchased them in the winter....I had to wait until spring to "test" them! But it was worth the wait! They are so lovely. I have two in shade and 3 in sunny locations. The compliments keep coming and coming! My deck looks like a garden magazine cover! Lol...I will say I read reviews that the nuts and bolts that came with the planter were too small, I gave that info to my husband so he just automatically used heavier duty screws. So far they are holding up well. 2 "big" thunder storms and still attached!

adjustable!
This is well made and gets the job done but the best part for me is that the part that attaches to the railing is depth-adjustable. . . This is especially good for me since the rails on my deck are super wide. I was pleasantly surprised to find it came with the coco-liner which sold separately can be a little pricey.

love love LOVE these
These are beautiful and sturdy. I have them under my windows mounted onto brick. I get compliments ALL the time. In the fall i put pumpkins and mums in them and the weight has never been an issue. Winter I put holly and evergreens with some lights.. they are always so pretty and a great addition to my home. One of the best outside purchases I have ever made. The price is phenomenal for what you get! My neighbors asked me to send them the link so they could get some too!

So pretty. I've had it for nearly 3 years
So pretty. I've had it for nearly 3 years. I ordered from america and arrived here in Korea within a week or so. I live on an upper level apartment and have no change to interact with nature, so this was great. I grow lavender and petunias in mine. Looks great from my window. Material is not super sturdy but not horrible, so I use zip ties for extra attachment.

Best basket for the $$
I looked and looked at many hanging baskets to purchase (even found some at Big Lots). The ones I found at Big Lots touted fitting over my 2x4 railing, but did not (I had to buy a separate bracket to extend their brackets with), and were not very deep in sharp contrast to this basket and liner. The basket is made of excellent material, easy to put together and adjustable so you can fit it on multiple sized railings, even ones as large as mine without purchasing something extra. I love this basket way better than any of the others that I have tried that were 'non-plastic'. This basket doesn't take up extra space above the railing which is what I was looking for unlike the plastic ones that sit "on" the railing. I will be purchasing more in the future!

Solid Planter
I have been using this planted for a while now and I honestly love it. It was quick and easy to set up and all you need is a phillips head screw driver and a wrench to really tighten it down.Fill it up with soil, and it takes a decent amount of soil and depth, so it is good. I currently grow herbs out of it in Los Angeles and it does a wonderful job at showcasing my herbs and looks really pretty on my balcony. Would definitely recommend if you're planning on getting into gardening in your apartment but don't have that much space.

Great!
Been out for a season already. No rust, holds up well, looks classy and beautiful. Would buy again. I did bend the metal hooks so that the weight of the flowers didn't tip the basket....worked well and didn't have to use wire ties or anything additional.

Great value!
I actually thought I was just ordering the liner when I placed this order. I'm surprised at what a great price I got this for since it included the actual metal trough as well! Since my other one what not in great shape and not as deep, I ended up replacing the whole thing with this new one. It comes with the brackets you need to install and it was easy to do! It seems to be holding up quite a bit better than my last one as well. Very happy with this purchase!

BiG FaN of these flower troughs!
These are a wonderful find, especially for the price. Before ordering these from Amazon I'd gone to my local Home Depot to look for these. I had a bit of sticker shock. So I came home empty handed and decided to check out Amazon. These were about $7.50 less for each one. I read the reviews and decided to try them despite some of the unhappier opinions. I ordered 3 for my back deck, assembled them and then decided that due to my procrastination I'd only fill one. (It was mid July by the time I got around to working with them. I'm a big "get the most bang for your buck" kind of gal.) Now, my mom had a green thumb. Actually, every one of her fingers was green and there wasn't anything she couldn't grow, even living in MA! She loved these window troughs and would fill them with ivy, geraniums, and anything else that suited her at the moment. So I thought I'd do the same. I filled the trough with good potting soil and several plants. When I was done, that trough was so heavy that I was afraid the brackets would snap. The brackets barely hung onto the porch rail. I knew I did something wrong, as mom's never did this. I went to Lowe's this time and looked for what she might have used to fill the trough. When I saw the bag, it rang a strong memory bell! Sphagnum Moss! I called my sisters and pieced together what she did to fill them. Following that pattern I filled my trough 3/4 of the way with Sphagnum Peat Moss. It's very light stuff that retains moisture well. I made an intent (hole, well, etc) for each plant and added about 1 cup of potting soil per plant. After I added the plants I covered them with about an inch of potting soil, added a layer of the Sphagnum then a thin layer of mulch. And the planter was 1/2 the weight, even well watered! It's hanging well and I'm excited to do them all next year. I didn't have to tweek the trough's bracket design or bend the brackets or wire them in place as others have had to do. Hope this helps! A side note... I bought a large bag of plain Sphagnum Peat Moss. Some people may not want that large a bag. The only smaller bag available at both Lowe's and Home Depot was the Miracle Grow Sphagnum Peat Moss. If you choose to use this, just be aware that it contains fertilizer so there's no need to use Miracle Grow on top of this. (I'm a big fan of Miracle Grow!) And a HUGE fan of these troughs!
