This soap is good for everything but I purchased it for bathing my infant grandson who has very sensitive skin and is allergic to everything. This soap lathers well, it's fragrance free and is strong enough to scrub a kitchen floor and mild enough for a baby's bath. I highly recommend

This is a staple item,MUST HAVE product for EVERY household. I use this instead of shampoo due to seboric dermatitis on my scalp followed by Braggs apple cider vinegar in place of conditioner. Results are a greatly improved scalp. Note though, for best results you need to treat your scalp overnight at least once a week with either coconut oil or hemp oil. Dr. Bronner's baby soap rids the scalp gently of the cell overgrowth and the ACV is an antibacterial that slows down the regrowth. Without the overnight oil treatment my scalp tended to dry out though, due to the ACV. 2) I use this soap in the mint version for foam handsoap. 3) I put half soap, half water in a spray bottle as a fruit and vegetable cleaning spray. Works perfect. Just spray on and rinse off with fresh water. 3) I use it in a tiny spray bottle to keep my eyeglasses clean. 1 part soap to 3 parts water. Countless uses. You won't regret this puchase.

I tried this after reading about it for Scalp Psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis. I have had this on my scalp since I was a teen (now 35), but after doing a whole30 what was once manageable... became a chronic case and my scalp was covered in thick scales. I tried so many products from the docs and nothing calmed it down. Then I tried this.... and I conditioned with Apple Cider Vinegar... Braggs. At first it left my hair very messy, dry and tangly, but i kept using it as I had thrown all the other things i had been using out. Then after about 2 months I suddenly realized my Psorisis had been gone... Like TOTALLY ALL GONE. I am not kidding. I have been using this as a shampoo for 6 months now... (i'm only half way through the bottle as well) My hair has adjusted and is not as dry and tangly after I was it... a small price to pay anyway for what I was dealing with. I hope this helps someone dealing with scalp issues like me. This is the cure for now. At least for me. See pics of before using this... I want to cry seeing how bad it was in Jan 2017... And then seeing the picture of it all cleared up March 2017. It's June now and it's still all gone.

I ordered this product to use for homemade cleaners and soaps. So far I’m really impressed! I’ve tried multiple all natural cleaning brands to clean my granite countertops and I’ve always felt like they left a grime or coating on them. Not anymore! I make my own cleaner now and I won’t be purchasing expensive cleaners anymore. My recipe for granite countertop cleaner is: 4 teaspoons Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap 4 teaspoons Rubbing Alcohol 10 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil 10 drops Citrus Essential Oil (I use grapefruit but you can use whatever you like) Top off bottle with distilled water. Super easy and cleans throughly and smells awesome.

Nothing in the world is weirder than the label on a Doctor Bronner's bottle. Saying that, this castile soap is great. You can do just about anything with it, and this particular variety (Baby/Unscented) doesn't smell like anything, just the way I like it. I'm using mine to make some house cleaning supplies, but you can wash clothes, body parts, teeth, you name it. This size bottle will last my household at least half a year.

I love this product! I use it in the shower mainly. I had a nearly empty regular hand soap bottle that I filled up with this and it has lasted me almost two months. I work for a construction company in the south so I am always outside in the heat and dust and dirt. This gets me nice and clean and keeps my wife happy. I also use it for my hair and beard and it doesn't dry out my hair. It doesn't suds up as much as name brand soaps but it doesn't need to since it is missing all the detergents and all those nasty chemicals in regular soaps. This is a great multi use product. I also mixed up a spray bottle of 1/4 Dr. Bronners and the rest water. I use that to wipe down the counters a few times a day and it has lasted a while as well. It leaves no residue and I am confident that my counters are clean. I have used it as a toilet bowl cleaner and shower cleaner as well with great results. This bottle should easily last me at least a year and I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted longer!

very impressed! with many unscented things, my nose can still smell a chemical/etc scent of some kind to them so i was not expecting to actually smell nothing when i got this which makes me quite happy. I made my first DIY body wash with tea tree oil, rose oil, a little peppermint oil, vitamin e and raw honey within an hour of receiving this and used it tonight and wow my skin felt sooo smooth afterwards, no body wash has ever really done that. lathered pretty well overall with amount i used (2/3cp to make an 8oz body wash). Going to use body wash i made and wait a week or two to see if the double olive oil in this product clogs pores/etc and if it doesn't i sure am going to buy another bottle for i don't foresee one i just bought lasting long after i experiment with this awesome product that i have been overlooking for last 2 yrs for some reason! update 9/18: so lovee this stuff, i hand wash all my dishes so decided to try making my own dish soap with this, after numerous websites and recipes, i settled on making the one (AMAZINGLY EASY DIY CITRUS DISH SOAP on overthrow Martha) that didn't include washing soda or grated soap like most DIY recipes used and added more essential oil to one i made. 1 added 25 drops of healing solutions' joy blend essential oil and 5 drops of swanson brand lemon essential oil. Didn't want to use my stronger good essential oils, so used main one from a brand i am not that fond of, so this mix does not have much of a citrus scent, barely any really but, it so cleaned the few dishes i did very well, i rinse well so it left no film residue at all for me and dishes were squeaky clean while my hands were left soft (you could see water bead up on my hands so was worried it would leave greasy oily feel on dishes but, it didn't). suds up well and rinses out of sponge super quick (unlike the method i use that requires loads of rinsing to get soap out).. i didn't use this in sink full of water but, put it on sponge itself, putting it directly in sink full of water would not work well i think, would dilute it way too much. Although this mix is thinner, I didn't have to use more of this soap than when i used method dish soap so that's a bonus. so far 2 DIY's with this castile soap and both are winners, yeah!

This soap is fantastic! So far I've enjoyed using it when making: - foaming hand soap (Great for when you have an infant. I feel like I'm always washing my hands and the soap never seems to dry them out.) - shampoo (I have very short hair.) - face wash (I have extremely sensitive skin and the basic ingredients don't ever seem to cause me irritation.) - cleaning solution for mopping my floors (I use the soap in my DYI mopping solution. It's made the task of staying away from as many harmful chemicals as possible a little easier.) - bug spray for my indoor plants (indoor knatts freak me out. It makes me feel like my house is dirty when in reality I just need to learn to water less. This keep the bugs at bay without killing the plants.) - bath soap for my newborn/infant (This was my initial reason for buying he soap. I wasn't sure if my newborn son was going to inherit my rediculously sensitive skin. It isn't tear free but so far it has served me very well.) I never thought I would use it for so many things but it never seems to skip a beat.

Learned about Dr. Bronner's watching Youtube backpacking videos from thru hikers and they swear by it. Bit the bullet and I have to admit, I'm so glad I found this stuff and it works as expected.... a great one stop shop for cleaning on the hike or while camping. I have filled small plastic bottles in all my hiking packs and bugout bags. I will be stocking up on different fragrances of Dr. Bronner's and will be consolidating our "soaps" with Dr. Bronner's for all outdoors needs.

I bought this soap not because I'm the organic or all natural type, but because I wanted something to keep out at the pond where I could use it, jump in the pond to rinse off, and not worry about harming the fish. The ingredients are natural and you can actually say them aloud! I went with the unscented version and it really is, well, unscented! The label has a novel written on it, which may be part marketing, but it is certainly quite busy. The manufacturer claims you can use it for anything from your standard body wash to cleaning floors, doing the dishes and even washing down the kitchen. It has a light oil consistency and looks opaque in color. Once you apply it to your wet skin, it lathers up wonderfully rich. A little really does go a long way. I get that clean feeling from it, it's not harsh on my face or eyes and it's easy to rinse off. I'm a bit of a pond nerd, so the hardness of the pond is 150 PPM. There are no issues with the soap fully rinsing off, which I had read was a concern from some other reviewers. Overall, I'm happy with the product and the price and would definitely purchase again. I hope you found my review helpful and if so, please click the yes button below. Thanks!
