5 minute install
Took 5 minutes to install the bracket on our travel trailer. Made a big difference when Semi's pass now. There is a little push to the center when a truck passes but no where near the sway prior to install. Just have to play with the tension settings to find the sweet spot. Planing a 10 hour trip later next week. Will update review(if possible).

Absolutely Amazing!
I have a 6x12 single axle trailer with a ramp/gate on it. I really like the trailer because it is light enough to move around by hand however because it is so light the ramp acts like a sail in the wind and can make it sway really badly at freeway speeds with a load on it. I have tried to move my quad all over the trailer and it still sways. I put on the sway control and BOOM! no more sway! My trailer now pulls straight as an arrow at all speeds and its all because of this simple device. I highly recommend this sway bar to everyone no matter how big your trailer is.

Night and Day Difference
HIGHLY recommend this product. I towed a 22' enclosed trailer, total weight of roughly 4K on a 2,000 mile road trip (using an F150) and was thrown all over the road whenever I'd pass a semi--in a word, it was quite hazardous. I installed this sway controller for the same trip with the same truck/load configuration, and it was a completely different experience. I was still pushed around a bit by the trucks, but whereas I'd end up on the shoulder without the controller, the push was a steady and predictable movement with it installed. There were no oscillations of the trailer at all, and without the oscillations, passing semis went from 'terrifying' to 'inconvenient.' Keep in mind you'll need the steel tab welded onto your trailer hitch--it's an easy weld for a pro, but you'll need to plan ahead. Mounting the ball was easy on the trailer, and after the 2,000 mile trip, it looks like the self-tapping screws are holding strong.

A must have, no doubt!!
Greatest purchase for my RV indeed!! It's a layer of comfort and security for me. It has reduced the sway that I was getting at highway speeds occasionally ... and if you've ever had the scary moment where you look back and see/feel the camper swaying then you'll know exactly what I mean. Easy enough to install as well with basic hand tools and a drill. Highly recommend this!!

Perfect
I pull a 24ft camper ball hitch pull behind. The night we picked it up I almost lost it to a gust front. I just pulled in 25+mph winds for 400 miles with no issue but kept speeds around 60mph. If you can't weld you will need to but the hitch with the tab. I had to cut the tab down about an inch to meet the measurements provided. A simple chop saw dud the trick. I do not recommend using the self tapping screws unless you have no choice. I recommend getting it welded if you can't weld. For backing in tight spots you simply need to untighten the device. No biggie

It is what it says it is and does what it says it does.
This is the best buy I found. Sway controller comes with the weld on tab for the ball mount where many don't for more money than this product. Then they want to sell you a 30.00 bolt on piece. It is everything they describe it to be. Does it work? I think so, passing trucks don't push my small RV around very much. I recommend this product.

Worth every penny
Before the Sway Control, on a windy day with a straight cross wind, 48 was the fastest I could safely drive. The next weekend after getting the Sway Control bar, on an even windier day, I was able to maintain 60 with no issues. Felt like I could have easily done 65 - 70, but why push it. Makes towing much more enjoyable. A little noisy at low speeds when you turn corners, but it's a small price to pay for the control you gain on the highway.

Won't leave home without it!!!!! ...
Won't leave home without it !!!!! Never thought that I would "Need" this until I installed on a new 28' camp trailer. What a world of difference it made. Kept the trailer from moving rear of truck when wind or big rig passed. Really makes towing so much more pleasant now. Trailer is 7500lb with a 99 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 v10. Can back and turn to a full 80deg angle. Impressive.

Good product for the money
For a product that also comes with the ball to attach to the hitch, it was really cheap - that's why I went with it. It took a little welding, but the rest was straightforward. I had just a little sway pulliing my popup with the minivan. This device took it right out. Definitely recommend to anyone with a welder and a tight budget.
