The Perfect Companion for my Gas Grill!
I cannot say enough good things about this griddle. It has given 'new life' to my old CharBroil gas grill & got me excited about cooking again! The griddle fits perfectly atop my grate with about 3/4" clearance all the way around, which I think has a lot to do with the even displacement of heat across the unit. That said, it does get a bit too hot, even with both burners on low - I've found that cutting off one burner does the trick once the griddle has gotten hot. I have 2 bricks I use under a pizza pan when we do pizzas - I may try those under this griddle to see if that helps, but I am really loving this thing! Clean up is pretty easy - even after frying bacon or sausage - but like my BlackStone friends tell me: clean it before you sit down to eat!

Know what you are buying and how to care for it.
I see a few reviews about issues cleaning this product. If you never cooked and cleaned a stainless steel griddle you need to do some research. Stainless steel griddles require immediate cleaning while hot. If you are buying this to cook then sit down and eat, you must understand that you cannot leave the grill messy and come back to clean it later. Have a full wet handtowel and a dry handtowel, While heated take the wet towel and put on the griddle it should steam, use your steel spatula and press on the towel and wipe back and forth over the grill, turn over and do it again until all the food stains are gone, the grease recovery tray is last. After you finish the top, then take your cloth and place in the grease recovery trough and wipe it down, solids use your steel spatula to collect and discard. Turn off the heat and take your dry towel and using that spatula go over the griddle. Next time you are at a diner that has a griddle you can see from the seats watch what the cook does after they are finished. I learned this method when I was a short order cook, I only needed water, a cloth towel and steam to keep it clean. No chemicals needed.

Perfect !!!!!!
perfect! I'm not a big review writer but when something works great I let people know. I bought this to take with us camping I put it on a Smoke hollow VT280 (which is a great product, gas grill and smoker in one... and now a griddle). The little griddle fits perfectly on the smoke hollow, I was wondering how I was going to stabilize the griddle on the grill. But just take the grates off and the heat tents off and the griddle fits snugly. Season in the griddle and you will have a great griddle for cooking breakfasts, sautéing veggies and all the other great meals you can make on a griddle. Portable enough great for camping, tailgating or day at the beach/lake. I highly recommend this specially when used with the VT280 smoke hollow table top gas grill / smoker.

This Sizzle-Q just cost me FOUR-HUNDRED DOLLARS! But I love it!
I have a Weber Q200 portable grill, and while it fit the Little Griddle Sizzle-Q *pefectly*, the griddle just never got hot enough. I tried frozen hamburgers first, and they just sat there bubbling away in a sort of simmer. Some research later and I discovered that the regulator might be in "bypass" mode which is about 20% of it's capability, and despite the techniques to clear the bypass mode, I figured either the regulator was bad or the Weber Q200 just didn't put out enough heat. The specs on it are only 12,000 BTU over 280 sq in of surface area, which comes out to 43 BTU per sq inch. Figuring it was time for a new grill anyway, and that I love Weber grills, I bought a Weber Spirit E-210 for four-hundred dollars at the hardware store which has dual burners and is rated at 26,500 BTU over 450 sq in of surface area, which comes out to 59 BTU per sq inch, a 37% heat improvement over the Q200 grill. I'm not claiming to be an authority on this, but I just figured that getting the Sizzle-Q hotter was all about BTUs per sq inch. Plus the dome cover of the Spirit E-210 fits over the Sizzle-Q whereas the cover for the Q200 does not. OK, so now four-hundred dollars more out of pocket for a new grill, I was ready to start cooking on the Sizzle-Q! Now, let me say first that I worked as a fast-food cook at Roy Rogers when I was a teenager, and we had a flat-top grill to cook the burgers (no, not Trigger-burgers). I came to love cooking on flat-top grills because it was like a work area and cooking area all in one. I'm 45 now and cooking on the Sizzle-Q brought back fond memories of cooking on a flat-top. I've had the Sizzle-Q for 3 days and have cooked every meal on it. My favorite is breakfast. BACON COOKS FLAT. It does not curl-up like it does in a frying pan. This was a welcome surprise, but I suspect that because a frying pan is hotter in the middle and cooler towards the edge, that it causes the back to heat up unevenly and curl up. Omelettes on the Sizzle-Q are especially fun and easy. Do yourself a favor and get a turner, not fancy rubber handled spatula, a good ol' wooden handled rectangle-shaped seven-dollar turner, one the length of a folded up omelette, a 7-10 inch blade or so. The Sizzle-Q is solid, hasn't warped, and has been easy to clean up with water and a scotch-brite scrubber and scraper. I love that I can cook a whole meal -- bacon, omelette, sauteed onions and spinach, and garlic fried rice -- all on the same cooking surface all at the same time. No rinsing, no washing, no switching pans. I think I love this part the most. One side benefit is that the flavors intermingle. The bacon grease can't help getting itself into the sauteed spinach and fried rice as they're cooking side-by-side. I just have to periodically scrape the excess bacon grease into the trough with my seven-dollar turner. Oh, that's another thing -- the front top edge of the grease trough in the front is an excellent edge to scrape the schmutz off your turner if you need to clean it while cooking. Just pull your turner blade down across the top edge of the grease trough on both sides. Even at 59 BTU per sq in with my new four-hundred dollar Weber Spirit E-210 grill, I still wish I could get the Sizzle-Q hotter. It's not the fault of the Sizzle-Q, just an issue about the grill. I'm a loyal Weber customer, so I wouldn't consider another brand, and the top-of-the-line Weber Summit E-670 costs thousands more for 78 BTU per sq in. Instead, I'm going to experiment with letting the grill and Sizzle-Q heat up with the grill dome cover closed for awhile. Without the Sizzle-Q, the grill gets up to 500+ degrees with the dome closed. The Sizzle-Q acts as a sort of heat-sink dissipating some of the heat. Perhaps I just need to wait longer with the dome cover closed. The Sizzle-Q does great, reminds me of my days as a fast-food cook cooking on a flat-top grill, and I'm enjoying every meal I've cooked on it.

I'm glad I didn't
I nearly spent 5 times the price of this item on a free-standing gas griddle. I'm glad I didn't. This grill-to-griddle conversion item works well and gives me more control over surface heat variations than a free-standing carbon steel griddle would provide. I'm well acquainted with cooking on stainless steel surfaces. Rule number one is to make sure the surface is as clean and highly polished as possible before heating and placing food on it. Right out of the box this griddle has a fairly nice fine-brushed finish.... comparable to what you'd expect to see on moderately-priced S.S. cookware. I have found that, if you can see yourself in the surface of S.S. cookware, it can work like non-stick cookware and requires minimal maintenance between uses. After washing my new griddle, I gave the cooking surface a 5-stage polishing. Starting with 400 grit wet-or-dry emery paper and working up to 800, 1500 and 2000 grit paper, I got the surface ready for a final polish. Using a 6" dual-orbital polisher with a terry bonnet, I applied Wenol metal polish (red tube - available on Amazon) and buffed it to a near mirror finish. The last step in the process is to scrub the griddle with a strong degreaser and rinse well. Today I cooked an 18oz package of thick-sliced peppered bacon on my new griddle. Results were excellent... and after cooling down, clean up was less than 10 minutes. The drip tray is more than adequate. 1-1/2 lbs of bacon produces a lot of liquid fat. The tray was less than 1/2 full when cooking was completed. There was no heat warping during cooking. The welded construction of this piece is rugged. No leaking seams... which could be a real problem with an inferior product. I have no problem recommending this product for use on your gas grill. EDIT - After looking at a few of the reviews posted by folks who gave this griddle low marks, I found one complaint that the griddle rusted while being stored. Some stainless steel products will indeed rust if not thoroughly cleaned before storage. I just checked my griddle's surface and found that a magnet WILL stick to it. This means that salt (including salt air) and corrosive sauces and seasonings, if allowed to sit on the surface, will eventually corrode the metal. This new-found knowledge does not mean my 5-star rating should be changed... but those who consider buying this neat little grill accessory need to be aware that some measure of care is required before storing the griddle for an extended period.

Great solution for smash burgers
My oldest son loves smash burgers and I tried them inside one time, which didn't go the best. Way too much smoke in the house. Saw this and thought it would be the ideal solution, and it is. I placed this griddle on my grill grates and let it heat up until it was scorching hot. Poured some oil on and put the first batch of burgers on, smashed them down and then scraped them to flip them. Had a great Maillard reaction on those patties. The second batch was not as good because the griddle had cooled some, but they were still great burgers. Not sure what else I will use this for, but smash burgers alone will make it well worth the purchase.

They Said It Wouldn't Work On Electric! - IT DOES!
I have an old school, basic GE Electric Range, the kind you get in rental units. Well... this thing is THE BOMB on my range! I have to turn it 'portrait' and it spans two burners front to back. I was skeptical it would get hot enough, but DANG on MEDIUM HEAT (5) it was plenty hot, so hot my coconut oil smoked during the seasoning. It sits level, I see no damage to the range top and gets the job done. I tested it on thick cut maple peppered bacon and fresh green beans at medium heat. EXCELLENT! I only wish it looked like the (portrait) professional with handles on the sides, but that one is too big for my range or I would have purchased that one. LOVE IT! As you can see, it cleans beautifully with a sharp spatula and a damp towel.

Fantastic !
This is a great buy. I purchased the 18 x 13 model and as you can see in pic i used on electric stove to make fried rice. It works just great, easy to clean...and made well. This is a no brainer buy...get it

Q320 Not Suitable for SQ180!
So far - so good. It fits the Weber Q320 nicely. I was tired of the grease mess with the Weber, and this SQ180 will solve that problem. Also, it fits my Coleman camp grill perfectly, if I remove the burner grate and the grill. I may not even use the Weber any more, except for roasting low and slow, with the food on a rack in a roasting pan (I am finished with grease mess!). I will update this review as I season and use the SQ180. Update 25 Sep 2016: The SQ180 performs well, and I will keep it. Unfortunately, the griddle sits too high over the Q320 burners, making it difficult to reach and maintain sufficient heat at the griddle level. I will place the Q320 into a happy home and look for a replacement that will grill with efficient grease management, and heat the Little Griddle effectively when needed. My Go-To griddle is now the Blackstone 36. I will work the Little Griddle back into the rotation when I find a heat-and-grease- efficient grill.

Very nice griddle, highly recommended.
I rated this 5 stars because I really can't find any flaws in it. Heats up fast, cleans easy, works well and has lots of space. I did bacon and hash browns on it for a trial run on my charcoal grill and it worked great. Using it with the Kingsford KCA11 Grill Press makes it even better. This came well packaged with easy to follow directions for cooking and cleaning. I wish it came with their cleaning kit, but I found some items around the house (spatula and grill pad) that seem to do a decent job until I get something better, I'd recommend ordering their cleaning kit along with it as I haven't found a cheaper price on similar items locally. The grease tray is large enough and does a fantastic job of containing the gunk you don't want on your cooking surface and the raised sides are a nice height. I bought this in hopes it would fit on my Weber Q 220 and my Weber 22.5" kettle. It fits like a glove on the Q 220 (with or without the grate, but you can't close the lid), but doesn't quite fit in the kettle, although it still works. I now have a Weber Genesis EP-330 that will be great to use it with. I recommend this to everyone looking for a griddle, and if you're looking for one for a kettle they do make a Kettle-Q as well. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
