This fire pit looks like it is well put together. The pit is solid copper and the spark cover is heavy-duty. Like other reviews the cover is very cheep so I bought another cover from Amazon for $7. I did drill a hole in the bottom for water drainage if needed and filled the bottom with fine rock (a little bigger than sand) to help protect the bottom from the Heat and add a little weight. I also drilled holes behind the legs for air intake for better fire combustion. (Less Smoky fire) . I didn't want a normal Rock fire pit so this will work beautifully. I expect it to last for many years

Love this fire pit. Legs may rust over time, which I will replace, but copper base will last for ever. Do not use the screen cover. Started using the fire pit the fall of 2017.

Would never go to steel again after having this for over 3 years. Not a hint of corrosion. It does turn black with the heat, though, but this thing works great otherwise. 5-year update:. The bowl is fantastic still. I built a stone pit last year and used the copper bowl as an insert. It worked perfectly. The screen cover is in great shape long after the vinyl one ripped out. I can't imagine any other bowl holding up this well. Super pleased with this buy.

I bought one of these back in 2012. It is a very sturdy long lasting fire pit. I love that it is really big and doesn't damage your patio. I put a hole in the center since the cover became unusable in a very short time. That allowed for the rain water to leave out of the pit unless of course the hole got filled with sticks and ashes. It does turn black once it is used. When I bought it back in 2012, my now ex husband would make huge fires and it held up great. He kept it when we split so I had to buy a new one so went with what I know works and holds up great. I highly recommend. I will be keeping my fires smaller so hopefully this will look newer longer!!

Great fire pit, looks really beautiful and functions well. Please nobody pay for "expert assembly" unless you have no arms and legs. You would have to be a complete stranger to basic shapes (like circles) to not be able to assemble this. This literally took 2 minutes to assemble (which is a great thing minus the fact there is a $100 option for "expert assembly"). Maybe I'm an expert and had no idea...I should be getting PAID! In all seriousness this is a great fire pit and is easier to assemble than it is to remember to breathe. Enjoy!

Have now used this firepit many times over the past summer and fall - copper still looks great on the inside and outside. We did end up buying a grate to put in the bottom to keep the logs from sitting directly on the copper. Like how the top securely fits on the ridge, no chance of sliding off. The vinyl cover that it comes with isn't great... lasted a few months then cracked with a large hole in the center where the top of the lid handle pushes against it due to sun exposure making the material brittle. We ended up buying a more durable (light colored) fabric cover that was weather treated to prevent the sun from doing a similar effect. Overall very pleased with the look and function of the pit. Have gotten many compliments.

Excellent product. No assembly required. Packaged well with no damage. Looks beautiful. Yes it's going to discolor. It's copper. I read some of the reviews and they were disappointed it tarnished...? Really? Trying throwing an old penny in the fire and see what happens. It can be cleaned.

exceeded my high expectation sin appearance, workmanship, and ease of assembly (took about 5 seconds !) looks great in my yard, quite a talking point already ! Very stable stand on brick patio.Nice high spark hood. only downside ? the cover !! there is NO WAY you can get that cover on . If you start to pull it starts to come apart.the elastic to hold it is way too tightly done and the aperture way too small, unless they sent the wrong cover.

Really beautiful fire pit. Fits large sized logs well. Perfect for a small patio. The cover is too tight to easily put on. I had to make a slit it in to get it to fit. Rainwater collecting in it is a problem. But all in all, I'd buy it again.

I was afraid of buying a fire pit that was too small sight unseen. Well this one is large & the perfect depth. I love the hammered copper, set up was a breeze. It literally took me 5 minutes. We would def purchase this again!
