As described. Wish I measured the space between my sliding door and the floor... this one is not tall enough so it pops out occasionally, but that’s on me - I should have read the description better.

I used this to replace an existing one that broke. The house was built in the mid 60's. This new one arrived promptly, fit perfectly and works great. It does not look too much different from the old one. It seems sturdy.

installation (0-5); 5 VERY easy!!! condition (0-5); 5 Very good, no blemishes nor tarnished I bought this because regular hardware store bought plastic ones break very easily for me. Maybe because I'm rough handling the closet doors. I have purchased this a couple of times and it lasts me a while.

I had searched my local home improvement stores for metal based sliding closet door slides without luck. I reluctantly installed three plastic ones a few years ago. I have carpeted closets and did not want to attempt cutting out small pieces sufficient to mount these plastic guides flush on hard floor, thus, they arched overtime, plus, if mounted flush the height would have been insufficient to engage doors properly. These worked great. I screwed them on using (longer) screws I had and compressed the carpeting. They are snug and now the doors are properly supported. I will no longer have the issue I had with non-metal ones. The only potential "bad" thing is my doors fully filled the guide gaps such that they contact without clearance. My doors are "standard" in that they are what I have seen my entire life (54 years). I'm not sure about narrower doors. The "white" portions are standard low friction poly so they slide OK but the are under stress. I would have preferred maybe and 1/8" clearance per side as paint may wear.

We had to replace a Stanley- branded closet door guide but couldn't find them anywhere in-store or online. These seems to be the identical product, but for the fact that the Stanley guide we had was brass colored. A minor downside is that you have to buy them two at a time.

I couldn't find this at my local hardware store, seriously?! So I was happy to get them on Prime and even happier that it was a two pack. It was so easy to replace the guides on my closet doors.

Just moved into a new house and it was missing two of these. I installed them and they seem just as good as the others in my home if not better.

The metal frame is strong enough not break compared to the plastic material. I expect this product to last a lot longer than the plastic ones

Worked fine, would buy again if needed, thank you.

Very happy with my purchase. They are just as described and just as I expected them to be.
